Simrad NSS Evo3S | Is it being Discontinued and Replaced with What?

- Is the evo3 s unit from simrad being discontinued and replaced? If so with what, how soon, why and what new features could we expect to see. Faster processing, self docking, new/ higher quality touch screen, new features, and more.

I appreciate you making videos on these topics but please use a mic so the claps and background noise don’t drown your message out. Also Simrad is working on software updates to include being able to use the newer HD 3n1 transducer which would allow for a MHz frequency and sidescan with fish reveal.
That transducer is something we'll see compatible soon with the evo3s. I don't think they will incorporate it in the nsx units because they want to leave incentives to buy evo3s screens.
My audio isn't the best. I'm not a big youtuber and don't make anything off youtube, so I can't really buy a mic for the few videos I have.
Interesting stuff. Any new updates over the past 6 months? And any units which you would recommend ober the evo 3s which is now close to 4 years old?
There is nothing really new that I know of. The hdspro on the Lowrance side has been pretty good. I would actually almost recommend that over the 3s, depending on what you do. The evo4 will have a 4k quality screen, I think. Garmin released a new unit recently in only larger sizes, and it was 4k quality. I think we expect that, faster processing, and some other new features that I don't know of yet.
