Before the season came out, one of my biggest complaint with the series was How after they introduced Kai and Nya’s parents in hands of Time and they never ended up really exploring how they felt or the relationship between them. They just found their parents and that was it. Seabound is so peak.
Yeah. I wish they were more involved in the seasons after that. Even just the occasional mention. Then again I think them not being around had something to do with the movie considering how many changes happened in season 8.
Kalmaar's VA, Giles Panton, also voiced the main character of Lego Nexo Knights, Clay Moorington, who is the total opposite of him, being the very definition of knighthood. Giles even said that, if those two came face to face, they would for sure get into a battle.
4:22 She already is Jay's mother in law. Being Yin and Yang is equivalent to being husband and wife in the Ninjago world also side note - I'm pretty sure she was a blacksmith along with Ray
6:44 She helped her husband as a blacksmith in the country. So nothing very technical. 11:01 Close. They're more like eals than snakes. 11:10 That's Kalmaar, the worst Ninjago villain. And no, I don't mean in terms of writing. You'll find out soon.
Nah worst is Nadakhan, cuz of THAT side of his character that had zero good justification to even exist, and honestly should never have made it past the brainstorming stage.
@@thateye49 which was another dumb plot point, the whole marriage and Delara plot points really didn't contribute anything good to Skybound, there was zero reason for it to be in the show, Nadakhan still would've been a good villain without being romantically obsessed with a teenager, plus they could've just made the reason for him being obsessed with Nya be due to her indirectly destroying Djinjago, which would've been an infinity better plot point, the wedding and Delara plots were a classic instance of the Hageman bros having an awful idea and no one telling them how terrible of an idea it is, just like with the Rebooted love triangle.
Oh you are just starting this one? I just finished this season yesterday and it brought me to tears. I'm on to starting season 5 . I don't know how much more there is.
Kalmaar is probably the biggest menace, but also the most ugly villian in my opinion for some reason. When I first watched this season and look at him I couldn't help but think about how ugly he was.
@@ReactZonesthere's a debate about if "the island" is season or not. For example in Poland, most people consider it to be Although (personally) I don't.
A little out of topic but: Am I the only one who hates the ending of "the island"? The writers of the show turned Ronin into the bad guy and completely erase the redemption he had in "Possession", "Skybound" and "Hands of Time".
Was it really ever a redemption though? He was good at the end of possession, only to become an enemy again in skybound, until the end. Ronin has always kind of shifted back and forth.
Ronin usually is only out for his own gain, and usually only helps out when his goals sort of align with the ninja's and is mostly out to get rich, in Possession, his shop and life were on the line and needed The Soul Archer and The Preeminent gone so his debt no longer exists, in Skybound it was a combination of him caring about Nya, and the world ending, which means all that time trying to get rich means nothing, and in Hands of Time, his shop was in danger again.

I'm told it's more fiancée and not actual marriage. I'm also under the impression she simply cooled off the hot iron.

@@thateye49 I was trying to hint to the whole trying to force a teenager to marry him, ZERO reason for that to have ever been a plot point.

9:32 nya did understand it, but im not gonna spoil it, but this is the second saddest season in ninjago
Maya was a blacksmith just as Ray
The ending of episode 4 kinda feels like the writers just wanted a cool ending line
The Merlopians/ Snakes you see are more or less Classified as Eels but technically the same thing 😂
Seabound has Lloyd's old voice actor talking to his new voice actor. Maya's voice actor voiced Lloyd from Season 1 to season 7.
🤣🤣 u just make this season better that I know she already was
YOOOOO
I like to believe they are sea eels
9:40 you really spoiled it on yourself lol 💀
not quite
Oh you are just starting this one? I just finished this season yesterday and it brought me to tears. I'm on to starting season 5 . I don't know how much more there is.

maya was a blacksmith like ray was.
Wait, was that a ducktales 2017 reftence? (The ghost of some butler named duckelsworth?)
9:35 you are spot on
Well technically there not snakes there eels 11.03

Are you going to react to Ninjago dragons rising also the song they play on the last episode of next season is pretty good

This season is season 15 not season 14
It's S14. Crystalized is 15.
