I hate the fact that the show's writers clearly forgot about Echo Zane. He could have been in the lighthouse to keep Jay company. Also: Quanish the elder. Remember that name.
3:50 fun fact: Quanish is the old guy from season 8 that Cole & Jay saw at a temple that they thought was Wu.. he also was Fenwick’s brother from Season 5 Cloud Kingdom.
Honestly, as sad as it was to see, I think it makes perfect sense that Lloyd would be sick of hearing “ninja never quit”. I mean Lloyd has gone from trauma to trauma: First his dad disappeared. Then his Mom abandoned him. Then he’s told snakes enslave him. Then he’s told he’ll be the legendary “GREEN NINJA” which means he has to defeat his father. Then after being saved by his dad, Garmadon leaves him again. Then he saw his uncle eaten by the Great Devourer. Then he was hit by Tomorrow’s Tea, and missed out on all of his childhood. Then the overlord possessed his dad, broke Lloyd’s leg, and then Lloyd was forced to fight his possessed father. He gets some relief when Garmadon turns good, but then Zane dies. Then Zane returns, but his dad dies. Then he gets possessed by an evil spirit. Then Zane almost dies AGAIN to the Hands of Time. Then his Uncle goes missing and his mom leaves AGAIN for a full year. Then he falls in love with Harumi, just to be betrayed. Then his dad is brought back to life, but only as an evil destroyer. Then he loses his powers and thinks his friends and uncle were killed by Garmadon. Then after defeating his father, the Oni almost kill Cole. Then his dad just leaves him again after defeating the Oni. Then Zane seeming dies AGAIN, but in actuality he lost his memory and became a killer emperor. Then Lloyd FINALLY meets a girl he could have a healthy relationship with, but he has to leave her behind. Then he literally DIES in a video game world. Then he’s enslave AGAIN by King Vangelis. Then his Uncle and Mom go missing once again. And now finally Nya was lost to the sea. Through out all that time he kept refusing to give up, to NEVER QUIT, but he’s finally done with all of this. In fact, I feel like this season is essentially when Lloyd has hit his breaking point, and all of that trauma has finally taken its natural toll on him. But despite all that, he still remains a hero. It’s quite honorable when you look at it that way (but I still think he should see a therapist.)
@@pleaseenteraname1517 Exactly. it’s the dark side of the “chosen one” story. The hero is forced into an unfair life of torment. But I suppose fair isn’t a word where Lloyd comes from
SPOILERE FOR CRYSTALIZED. DONT EXPAND. Yeah honestly I don’t mind Lloyd thinking irrationallly like why would he be so harsh on his dad but not on Harumi. From his perspective Harumi seems similar to him and that was the original intent as Lloyd was able to have a family alongside before things got worse. Also it’s because this Garmadon literally disowned him and even said people don’t change they only reveal who they truly are. As someone who prefers no way home over crystalized, I found Lloyd to snap much more believable then Peter but the issue is they never resolved Lloyd’s arc in this season while Peter was Able to.
Ah, Season 15: Crystalized. You either hate it, love it, or (like me) are in between. It has good moments, but it's lackluster at best in other areas. I think all the problems from this season come from the fact that the writers were being rushed to finish Ninjago and make way for Dragons Rising (which thankfully redeems Ninjago).
It's my favorite season and I love it but I'll admit it has flaws. Personally I think it all came down the 11-minute format-Ninjago was never suited to it, but Crystalized especially needed more time to tell the full story. They should've returned to the 22-minute episode format for the finale, or even switched to even longer episodes.
I hate what they did with Nya this season. They took away all her character development… hot take: they should’ve let her stay merged and focused on Kai/Jay’s emotions and even the teams.
@@Keekee1253 SPOILER ALERT FOR END OF SEASON, DO NOT READ react zone: Tommy A once stated they had the idea for Lloyd to become corrupted from Oni form and they needed NRG Nya to fight against him. Basically Lloyd took over overlord for king. And that would’ve been perfect for Nya’s character. Bringing her back and doing nothing with her is stupid.
I really wish they didn't cop out so soon to return Nya to the group since it sort of reduces the impact of her sacrifice so soon. While its nice to see how Nya's sacrifice impacted everyone, I do really wish they explored Kai's grief losing Nya since if anyone should be depressed or struggling it should be Kai since he is Nya's brother. Maybe his dojo and somewhat brutality is a coping mechanism, but nevertheless it still doesn't really feel as impactful for him as it realistically should be
"Ninja": We are... THE NEW NINJA! React Zone: *not impressed* LMAO XD Yes, they may have rushed with showing us Nya right after loosing her, but knowing everything that is about to happen in this season (especially when the creators were working at the Dragon Raising at the time if I'm not mistaken) it would be really hard to slow things down and make it interesting. Everything here is connected one way or another and has it's purpose - smaller or bigger, but it's still a purpose. Although there's one thing they screwed up and went with it WAAAAYYYY too fast which is why a lot of fans hate this season so much. You'll see by yourself I'm looking forward to hear your thoughts :)

13:38 I wonder if you changed your mind on that one. No water powers in order to return and see her family and friends again? Totally worth it. Spoilers for a few episodes later: Not worth it for Nya though. Stupid characterization.

Zane’s at least had weight because it was irreversible because his old form is truly gone. Nya just comes back and eventually gets here powers back? Zane’s character arc in S4 was also good with home facing his fear, Nya in Season 15 is just botching her development from Season 1. Both were done quick, one was done better
agian i can agree but nyas was also "irreversible" because she had to get rid of her powers to come back. Zane just had to be re buit. btw your spioling the wrest of hte season for him@@paulgilbert5278
The only season of ninjago that I didn't really like, others that I don't think are the best I can still enjoy, this one isn't. The worst ninjago season of all, it actually has a lot of good ideas but they are all poorly executed. Maybe watching the first episodes it doesn't seem that way, but in the long run it becomes evident. Who knows, maybe React Zone will like it anyway this season, if so, good for him
I guess you can see now why people are shitting on crystallized so hard, and this is only the beginning😂. We need to be honest and say that crystallized had some good episodes and a great potential, specially with certain things that I’m not sure if you have seen or not, but whatever😅

11:55 - I agree. We didn't fully feel the loss of Nya, how it affected everyone, why the ninja split apart in the first place.
