Thank you so much for another great video. This is definitely my new favorite business jet to fly in P3D. Carenado has dramatically expanded the start up options. It was a great move and I hope they update their other jet products similarly

Ohhh Perfect... Look forward to it.
Similar to a Tristar, the centre engine is located at the back of the fuselage (directly in front of the exhaust, which you'll see is below the intake), the intake directs air back and down to the engine, which is why you can't see the fan. This is different to the DC10/MD11 config, where the centre engine is just sat on the tail.
Yes, there is an "S-Duct" before the engine that directs the airflow down. If you look carefully at the engines around 6:45, you see that the #1 and #3 engines do have their fan modeled; the #2 fan is buried deep inside the tail.
She reminds me of a baby 727 what a nice jet this is a must have for me

Nice work Shane, agree with some others comments. Carenado seem to let themselves down a little with the glass panel cockpit. Exterior though this is a sexy aircraft. Thanks for showing us mate

FlySimWare F50 is a better buy for about the same price. The Carenado Glass panels are a huge letdown still. Great modeling and textures though.

hey hey Shane..how's it going friend. I totally love all corporate jets..so sexy so sleek, you really love this little airfield Big Bear..up in the mountains...good choice. That takeoff was a little windy..just rocketing over the tree tops..love it all.. sweet scenery 12:57 13:10 14:13 15:28 16:10 16:56 17:29 20:35 i gotta try out this airport at KMRY...i like the approach..maybe for my Cessna Citation video i will do it here..good stuff shane

How do you open up the window with the gpu option?
Nice aircraft... the only way to fly for the rich. But what is causing that annoying knock, knock, knock, knock? It happened at 12:04, 12:14, 12:30, 12:40 and continued off and on through the entire flight while you where in the cockpit.
That's the trim sounds, terrible I know.
Tell Carenado that "Just because you can doesn't mean you should." Time to look through the sound directory and delete or rename that file. :)

By any chance do you know anyone that are selling any flight equipment preferably the yoke rudder pedals and throttle
Another great video Shane. If you have not done so, could you fly this on a maximum distance flight? I do not care if it is 16x speed, in fact you do not have to make a video of it, just make a note here or in another video of the FA50 EX; I will take your word for the results. I have read somewhere that the max cruse distance is far from correct, however I have not seen that response from anyone else, however it is enough that it has kept me from purchasing this aircraft. Thank you and keep up the good work, I love your videos!
ZZstaff iv’e bough this when it was released, i was appaled and sad about the systems performance, when i get my wi-fi setup here ( recently moved countries ) i will try to fly it again, as it has been updated. If you reply here i’ll let you know what it performs like now 😇

ZZstaff hey, i have not had time to do a maximum range flight. I did a flight from Key west to Miami, the basic functions are working on the jet, however realistic? Nah. It hand flies well, and the AP has basic functions as Alt. Hold, Vs, NAv and approach mode ( i have not flown an ils approach yet, however it should be functional ) the FMS is poor; as per carenado standards and is able to follow a flightplan, and enter SId’s/Stars but thats about it, if you enter a Sid or a star, and then go into the ARR/DeP section on the fms afterwards it will remove said star or sid 😭 - im not sure if its worth 45$ it looks good, but systems are poorly made, the porkline 21 does NOT meet standards at all. Their “improved proline 21” is the same as it has always been 😆 I hope it was a little help
