Very nice sequencing! I was just wondering, how do you map the velocity to the filter EG amount? I thought you could only "map" the model D using patch cords?
Thanks! There is one midi control change (cc1: mod.wheel) that can be mapped to filter EG amount. So I converted the velocity to cc1 values using max4live - it works!
@@bioseq I was searching for ways to do stuff like this using my model d. Can you help me to find this m4l device to set this up. Would be nice to do this modulation in drum rack sequence. Nice and informative vid. If you have some information I would be happy:) Bye
@Anna J - Many thanks! Above you see the QuNexus, a USB-MIDI keyboard with light keys (here just used for visualization), on left it's a Midi Fighter Twister, nice controller with endless encoders.
@Anna J - Great that you like it! And sorry for the delay , I'm currently busy with my "Pete Midi" channel ... Yes, I'm using ableton, but I'm happy when jamming without it, a story of love and hate 😉 On this channel, nearly all jams are without ableton, the "Dynamic midi sequencing session" is a rare exception.
Interesting, because Matlab's Midi capabilities are limited - from work I'm quite familiar with the IDE, so it was my first choice for realizing more ambitious ideas. But I feel that most of the scripts I programmed are very special and would not directly apply to any other music making environment. I guess it would be a hard (and time consuming) job to transfer these prototypes into some form that could be used by other musicians. I'm a bit sad about this situation but I definitly do not have the time to resolve it ...
wow love that sequence, sounds very similar to the moog sub seq. fantastic
Spiritual Sequence🌌👏!!!
beautiful!
Thanks a lot!
Excellent sequence, great movement.
Many thanks!
Love it! Great work.
Thank you so much!
Sounds great 👍🏻
Many thanks!
awesome man
Thanks!
That was great !
I subbed :-)
Many thanks!
Great! Would be awesome for an electro or synthwave track!
Great that you like it, thanks a lot!
this is totally prog trance to my ears

Love it! Are using Max for Live to midi map CC controls?
Thanks a lot! Yes, I'm using the most simple M4L device I could find, it's called "little-scale.Notes2CC" and it works fine.
@@bioseq this is great! I am not a musician, limited knowledge. What are the machines above and to the left of the Beringer called?
@Anna J - Many thanks! Above you see the QuNexus, a USB-MIDI keyboard with light keys (here just used for visualization), on left it's a Midi Fighter Twister, nice controller with endless encoders.
@@bioseq thank you so much! I love what you are creating here on your channel! Do you use ableton or other software you like?

I also write midi scripts in Matlab. Would you consider putting your code on GitHub or something?

Amazing.. who says machines don't have souls? :-)
Thanks! Sometimes it even feels like the D synth is breathing :-)
buy two more!
I will think about that :-)
