To answer a question, Sadhguru always starts with loads of humor. That attracts your attention, a lot of it. Gradually he shifts toward the serious answer. I think you still didn't understood the concept of God. First of all forget about God he is beyond our imagination. Every culture have god based on their history of evolution in their surroundings. Western culture created their god based on their medival age when humans were not that advance and were usually dependent on wild animals or poultry animals for their food hence they created God who eats non veg isn't it. Now when it comes to India it had a vast agricultural land where most of the population would settle and hence whole lot of information was possible to share with each other and large schools and colleges were established which enhanced the human skills and their intelligence. Now when it came to creation of God Santana dharma created the god surrounding agriculture, science, human health or everything you can imagine which is related to science. While idea of God was not similar in all the region's every region created their own version of Gods. some would follow saint personalities who is pure vegetarian and some would follow some other personalities who would have been non vegetarian because in that regions culture it was easy to absorb. in short every religion created God based on their idea. Sadguru is just trying to provide everyone with their own set of god/s. If you think he is doing some sort of double standard just read quran, ved and bible and you will realize the reason of him being promoting sanatan dharma.

No you are wrong. Sadhguru is a fustrated people. Sometimes he also went to God to accept his love. He could not gain Gods love. Gods always helps them who has the capability of following the rules and who can believe. But Sadhguru had no endurance and faith , so he was unable to find Gods help. So he thinks today God doesn't exit. But I can feel God daily , God is always with me. You agree or not but God will take calculations on everyone and give results to them. I am indian born in Fiji islands and converted to Christianty but now after 2 decades of finding the truth and stories of both Christianity and Hinduism I wanna ask Lord Jesus what Jehovah he was telling why he never told in detail about Jehovah. So I will say God is just 1. Lord Shivah is the ultimate Supreme God mahadev and adhi Shakti mata Parvati is the jagat jannani then we have Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma and Lord Ganesh. This is kaliyug and Bible says Jesus will come down on white horse holding sword to conqueror the evil beast and same way in the bhawish purana is tels Lord Vishnus 10th kalki avatar will come to end kaliyug on white horse with a sword. So tell me guys now God is 1 and Jesus came 2040 years ago and made our minds confused. He tried to over rule all the ways of worshipping to the Hindu and other God's and placed his own rules of worship. I will stick to mahadev and pray to him from now on in 2023 to achieve Moksha and won't be double minded.

Going by what I have been able to figure out, God is the source of everything, is in everything, and ALSO, a unique being who is aware of and loves all of us. I have learned to not let any supposed enlightened person to tell me what to believe. Be careful of allowing another person to TAKE CONTROL of what you believe.
@jass singh From one paragraph, you figured all of that out. In the 1980s I was involved with guru-based teachings and eventually found that they aren't what they claim. Be weary of people that allow themselves to be put on a pedestal. If you are truly curious, try to find out why negative things happen in this world. If you allow a guru to define the parameters of what you believe, your ability to find out will be quite limited. People who allow their minds to be controlled by gurus aren't much different than people who allow their minds to be controlled by fundamentalist preachers.

Sadhguru almost reached God, but then suddenly took a subtle turn. He is right when he said if we look at the creation very carefully, there is intelligence. No sensible person can deny that the whole creation is a super intelligent design. Every piece of it is a manifestation of a Superior Intelligent "Creator," isn't it? Hello! Now, just as a buffalo would imagine that very Creator to be a Biiiiggg buffalo, some religions have concocted their own version of this Creator, while some religions deny that the Creator is omnipotent, and they have their national or personal gods and goddesses (let this topic be left aside). In the Vedic texts, there is a reference to the Param Brahma. Great Indians, like Swami Vivekananda, Dayanand Saraswati, Tagore, and others, tried to propagate this concept, but in vain. Whatever our individual concept or interpretations mighty be, the fact is that no one is absolutely perfect.
Every human being is endowed with some amount of intelligence, and that amount of intelligence can be worked out, through meditation, experiences and realisations, to gather up knowledge and information, and activate wisdom (higher senses) by processing the acquired knowledge. Then our wisdom has to be tested by fire (contradictions and criticisms). For the test, a perfect environment should be created, which is free from pride and prejudices, with pure humility and respect for contradictory viewpoints. Our only aim should be to reach the Truth, not to prove others wrong. Criticisms must be accepted liberally. Only then we may find the true Creator, the eternal One, almighty God.
@Simran Mukherjee , you and I have been created by an omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient Creator, (not by any 'extraterrestrial creature') in His own image. So, definitely you and I have the elements of the divinity in us, but if you feel that there is nothing above you, that is your pride. I don't dare to think so, but I can strongly feel that I am limited, and I have so many weaknesses and faults. I need to overcome them.
For that, one's mind must rise above the three-dimensional physical world (the self) to the multi-dimensional spiritual world (selfless). It's difficult, but by connecting myself to the Supreme Being, it becomes easier to do so.

But what if "god" is the one who is thinking of ideas?
A man-made robot would think a Man as his God. But we are not God and we know that..instead we are the creator for the robots. There's a huge difference between Creator and God. There has to be a creator for every creator and the one who doesn't has a creator is GOD! The beginning! The start! With whom existence came into existence! And with the little knowledge we have the beginning is 'Nothingness'. We don't know what was before nothingness and why even nothingness exists. So it wouldn't be a bad idea to agree God is 'Nothing' who brought everything into existence! Read that again.

No, because he is doing that to keep up the attention and wants people to think about what what is he saying. If he asks: Is it? people will think in their heads: Yeah, sure. You sound right, keep it going. So they can lost attantion and the meaning of it. On the other hand negative things can grab people attention easier. Look around the world. Most people in the most of the cases talking about what is bad, not about what is great. We give too much attention to negativity. We are not enjoying the good things, rather focusing on what is bad and thinking about how can we fix it our how should someone fix it. And if it is not happening it can hurt us. But whty.. Nobody is really honestly happy tho. For example a crying person can get your attention easier, than someone who is laughing. Giving attention to negativity is okay, because we can evolve, and it can keep us aware from danger but hey.. we give way too much. So in conclusion I guess it is for grabbing attention and giving more focus to think about why or why not he is right. Positive energy all the way as u say. But for a positive outcome sometimes needs negative energy. (building your own house alone, from sratch goes with a lot of struggles so there are some negatives but after all you are done and living in it...)

@@johnsolomon694 Thanks for your response. We all Hindus have much respect to Jesus Christ from the core of our hearts, because his teaching are very similar to Buddha. I never compared Jesus with Krishna. Jesus appeared about 2020 years ago where as Krishna appeared atleast 6000 years ago.
Actually Jesus has a connection with India. 1) Immediately after the birth of Jesus 3 monks from the east visited him . They found their way with specially appeared star's light. 2) Jesus spent 18 years of his life , from the age of 12 to 29, in India and became a Buddhist monk. 3) He arose from death means he did not die from crucification. He was rescued and brought to India, where he lived a long life as a saint. There are many books written by people from various countries. Pls search in net ( eg. Russian Journalist Nicolas Notovich's book called "Unknown years of Jesus. There are many - )

But this theory of karma is absent in the religions evolved in middle East region. Those people get confused in life as they fail to understand the cause of disparity, sufferings in life and thereby get violent sometimes.
Now a days all the world is one village, and people from other parts have access to the Indian theory of karma which controls the life cycle.

Leave out the question of who created human beings or beings who may be living in other planets. It is true that our concepts of God are only concepts or theories of the human mind. But the bigger question is Who created the universe? There has to be a Supreme Intelligence responsible for that.
No need to see it as supreme (or perhaps it is for one at the moment). Think of it as that there is actually nothing else but Intelligence. Out of this Intelligence or more like that Intelligence formed into a Universe itself. So it lives in everything because it is everything. If you see that Intelligence in every atom, saying for example "I am an electron", in every collective "I am part of an oxygen" - "I am part of a mineral" - "I am part a human being" then you will see that "You" are the that "supreme" Intelligence who forgot/lost access so it can experience that very Intelligence.
Every smaller Intelligence tries to create something bigger than themselves, so that the creation can experience what it is made of.
That is the cycle of life, that is what a human child is
And not only living things are creations. For example Art: The artist draws the picture to share to society (or just his own smaller cycle) whichs lets that cycle have one _more_ thing that lets them experience themselves

He speaks so beautifully. But he doesn't really makes sense or say anything.
He says a lot. You’re just not listening. Essentially, he’s telling people to stop using their imagination to form a theory for our creation and to start looking more within ourselves and the beauty of our human life in this world. Instead of answering “what is a god” and “where do I come from” we should be spending that time trying to explore ourselves in this world and find meaning while we are here.
