This guy is the first person in my life who really makes sense to me. For all the things that my parent told me like believing in god, worshiping and praying to god. To do this not that all of it which have been in my culture for long, they never gave a reason as to why I should believe because they themselves don't know the reason and it's not their fault. Through this training programme we also do the training of student mind so that student become creative, innovative and questioning power of mind increases. We encourage student to design something of their own so that it solves the problem of society. Then we work on four things of the student: - 1- ACADEMICS 2 - SKILL DEVELOPMENT 3 - PERSONALITY 4 - VALUES AND ETHICS SKILL DEVELOPMENT means we encourage the students to learn practical and technical skills since school days only, so they don't remain unemployed. In this way we do all round developement of the student. My teaching methodology is skill oriented not degree oriented. Hindu is a geographic location not any rigid belief ( things I don't know to be true but I believe ) system kinda. we are seekers cause we don't know with proof what's true.We have concepts like the rule of karma to live a better life. And if you think about God we are free to choose whatever ideas we think will make us better humans and pray to him or her as a deity (cause we aim to become like them ) Ex:- Shiva - destroyer of evil ( that's the core belief ), Rama - great human being, Saraswati - Artist ( music and arts ). but the ultimate god is one Brahman the source of all creation. so it's different for all of us even inside the family also. We are all conditioned by Time, Money and Mathematics to the point of slavery. Brain works by association of neuron pulse networks. Mind then puts the content together, also by association. Thoughts come and go as neuron networks are passively reactivated by the memory of an older experience, by association with the current neural experience. Sadhguru gave an alternative to using those chemicals but, the last question was...what to do about the peer pressure when it seems to be all around you...that is a tough question in this day and age, especially when in school and social settings...my only advice is, to keep from becoming a total social outcast when you find that situation happening, do not say anything...find someone who is not drinking or smoking and form your own clique...when being pressured, just shake your head in disgust and leave...I try to avoid it altogether...the people who think it is "cool", really do not have the mental capacity, so sign language may be necessary when saying no...I hope whomever asked that question finds the right path...

I may Pray to "Shiva" ( the ones we aim to be like) to aim for the best version of our self spiritually.
Umm like every member in family has different jobs right some may be doctor some may be artist some may be a housewife all are doing the best they can right.
Similarly we can all follow different spiritual goals to be the best version of ourselves.

Upon that ritual is not a problem, problem isif strongly you become identified with it...if you cant keep up by yourself without practicing it . Its a Problem if it becomes compulsive.. sadhguru does it conciously not out of compulsion..
Whatever you do if you do it conciously, then its not accidental in nature

Why Sadhguru denied he didn't do Pooja Rituals,

We are all conditioned by Time, Money and Mathematics to the point of slavery.
Brain works by association of neuron pulse networks. Mind then puts the content together, also by association. Thoughts come and go as neuron networks are passively reactivated by the memory of an older experience, by association with the current neural experience. When you see an apple, retina creates electrical pulses on certain neural networks and they travel from site to site (optic nerve, chiasm, optical thalamus. optical cortex etc.) finally grounding in the fluid when the eye moves away from the apple. Where is the content, ie shape, form, color, contours of the apple, held? Brain deals only with pulses moving along neural pathways. That's how ideas are born, subjectively by association of the old and the current status. Not easy to visualise unless you sit in meditation and concentrate on the longitudinal neurons running from Cauda Equina to the brain stem. This takes a lot of concentration and special knowledge. Unfortunately, the current human brain-mind complex has been conditioned by Time, Money and Mathematics over the last 200-300 years . Look at the achievements of pre-science age cultures in India, Peru, Egypt, Chaldea, Canaan, Babylon and Sumeria. Our mental status is fast deteriorating by this conditioning. Talk to teenagers; they will tell you.?

Ok... Sadhguru gave an alternative to using those chemicals but, the last question was...what to do about the peer pressure when it seems to be all around you...that is a tough question in this day and age, especially when in school and social settings...my only advice is, to keep from becoming a total social outcast when you find that situation happening, do not say anything...find someone who is not drinking or smoking and form your own clique...when being pressured, just shake your head in disgust and leave...I try to avoid it altogether...the people who think it is "cool", really do not have the mental capacity, so sign language may be necessary when saying no...I hope whomever asked that question finds the right path...

It's true but he speaks about the education system and how people want the constant look at all those soldiers with PTSD and committing suicide in sales because of the things that they had to do because that was what they were thought but mentally they knew that it was wrong and they couldn't live with himself far as the kids commit suicide they look around at the world feel like it's better to be dead than to live in this world that's how bad Society in the world that is.
