Mother Dear by Ivy Tholen was my fave for October. It was funny and that family was INSANE!! And I feel like she finally nailed and ending. She had issues sometimes with it but it was really good. I think you'll like it. It fits your unhinged woman esthetic lol
I finished a few books in october, one of them being Dead Eleven 💀. My only 5 stars book was The Odyssey, but I also enjoyed many other books: Perfume and Pain, Men have called her crazy, and Moon of the Crusted snow to name a few. Happy reading 🤗
Yes I started with a lot of unhinged women lit fic. There’s a lot of recs in my “feral girl fall” titled video but I’ve been thinking about making a video about this!
Totally agree with you on your opinion on the first book 📕 I only read 50. pages of it and then stopped sending you all of my thoughts and prayers for you and your health issues prayers and blessings to you and your husband and your families love your Aussie family friend John xxx
Have you read You Will Never Be Me, by Jesse Q Sutanto? I just finished it and loved the influencer drama! I'm reading Bad Tourists by Caro Carver now and can't wait to post that review too! It starts out with a bang!
Awh thank you! I don’t have many tips but the thing that’s been helping my hair a ton is this TGIN honey hair mask I get from Amazon. I use it every time I wash my hair and it’s really helped how dry my hair was getting. Then I blow dry it every time.
Maybe I’ll give So Thirsty a try, if I ever see it in my local library. I was so disappointed by The Return, and after that I just didn’t get all the hype about her books.
That’s exactly how I felt too. I pretty much wrote her off but someone sent this one to me as a gift and I gave it a go. I wouldn’t have liked it so much if I didn’t relate to it. I don’t really get the hype with her books.
I love your channel! I wish I could figure out how to get thriller book lovers to my channel! Every Facebook thriller group won't let me share my channel with people who would be interested!
So Thirsty got two stars from me. I lived The Return and Cackle, Such Sharp Teeth was all right, wasn't super into Black Sheep, and So Thirsty is getting unhauled. The romance was sudden and it felt like a heavy-handed Twilight parody. The friendship also made NO SENSE to me, and the two main characters felt very one dimensional. I love the messaging of her books, but her recent ones completely lack any kind of subtlety.
Chuck Palahniuk has had some great books, Fight Club, Survivor, Choke, Haunted. Also some not so great books.
Exactly this!
I’d add invisible monsters to this list 🫣🫣
@@JackieReadsBooks my favorite!
I hope November ends up being a better month for you!
Thank you! 🩷
I don’t love short story collections either but I did enjoy Bad Dolls by Rachel Harrison 😂 it was a fun fall read.
Good to know! I stayed away from it because I don’t like short stories lol

So it’s a bite beauty one and I went online to find it only to discover that they are no longer a company apparently lol
What is a good literary fiction for beginners? I have been a horror fan all my life.
Unhinged women?

I have always felt like Come Closer was mid at best and completely overrated. Thank you for validating my unpopular opinion 😂.
Yesssss thank you for also validating me 😂

That’s really weird but idk anything about fb groups. Sometimes when you gear your videos to a particular genre they will find you!
I’ve heard such mixed things about so thirsty!
Yeah the reviews are all over the place lol

We have opposite opinions on her books but I totally agree I don’t think I would have liked this one if I didn’t find it relatable
