Basically, this is a real hair salon. This is what I’m used to. And since I left NY I have struggled to find a well run salon where the stylists are like this-professional, into haircare not just styling, and get you out the chair. Love seeing this.
Girl!!!! I had no idea! I thought that it was just a fantasy of mine 😆 I didn’t know that an experience like this was actually possible! I am sooooo blessed to have found this salon! I was praying so hard to find the right place and not leave disappointed and heartbroken like I have so many other times. It was the quickness for me tho!! They don’t play. In and out and on about your day…LOOKIN GOOD!
And I’m hatin that you are just used to that!! 😂 I pray that you are able to find the right salon and stylist for you. It’s so sad that it can’t just be a normal thing that you don’t have to actually SEARCH for, you know?
I literally searched in Google “luxury salon for black hair” 🤦🏾♀️

The hair stylist did a very great job on your hair! I'm usually skeptical about going to hair salon to get my hair relaxed, but this hair salon gave me hope haha😂 and the length is giving, and is so healthy looking 🙌🏾 Also Happy New years to you and your family!

Yes…going to a new salon is sooooo scary. I was legit praying about this for MONTHS before finally going here. I was actually booked and ready to go with another stylist in Beverly Hills but I was getting too many red flags during the whole process. The communication was completely off and I just couldn’t go through with it. Thank you for always leaving such sweet comments too. I’m glad that you are with us on these journeys. It’s crazy! I’m going to keep on going and FINALLY get to my goal this time next year IN JESUS NAME!! 🙏🏾

Your hair turned out beautiful, I use the Mizani butter blend as well on my hair and love the results. Of course the right hair care operator is always a must. Where is this salon located?Thanks as always for sharing your experiences.

My stylist uses the same relaxer. When I self relaxed, I only used no lye relaxers, so I was scared the lye was going to burn, but that relaxer is so gentle. I really love it. I got the unbrush like 4 years ago. It came with my flat iron, and I've never liked it, lol. It's funny to me that it's become so popular. Going back to the salon was the best decision I made, and I look forward to relaxer day now. She did a beautiful job on your hair. Your hair is gorgeous!! 💜

Yes…that relaxer was EVERYTHING! I’m so glad that I decided to go to this salon cuz I was really on the fence about this whole situation. I was THIS close to just doing it myself and then going to my regular stylist to just get it trimmed and straightened.
I’m so happy that you are looking forward to your relaxer days as well. It’s such a good time! I love being pampered like that. And like I said, this time o didn’t have to record by myself so it was extremely relaxing!

I recently had a set back because my stylist was no listening to me. She has tried products on my hair that don't mesh well on my relaxed hair. And also kept choosing not to relax the font part of my hair because she felt like it did not need it. Well because of the 2 different textures I had breakage on the area. I tried to hard to make it smooth so it meshed well with my relaxed hair. if she just would have relaxed it I would not have had that problem. Needless to say after all these years I may need to find a new stylist.
Dang!!! That’s so unfortunate. I’m so sorry to hear that! I can’t believe that there are stylist out there who don’t know how to properly take care of their clients hair. That situation sounds so frustrating.

I was 19 weeks!!! Can you believe it?!I used to just do 15 then I went to 18 all last year. I’m going back to 15 again…maybe even sooner because it be getting crazy lately!!
