- Fresh from winning our third Apple Design Award, we are thrilled to introduce djay Pro 5.2 . This significant update - free to existing djay users - comes packed with new features and enhancements across Algoriddim’s entire desktop and mobile line of djay. Building on the groundbreaking features introduced in djay Pro 5 , as well as the official integration with Apple Music added earlier this year, the update continues to set the standard for DJ software with unparalleled innovation and technical advancement.
Enhanced Hardware Integration
This update extends plug-and-play integration to over a dozen new DJ hardware controllers and introduces native HID integration with Phase. Additionally, djay Pro 5.2 includes support for the Mixtour Pro, a brand-new portable DJ controller designed exclusively for djay in collaboration with Reloop and legendary DJ and producer Laidback Luke.
Advanced Crossfader Fusion
All Crossfader FX, including the advanced Neural Mix-based crossfader curves, can now be assigned to external mixers and hardware controllers for the first time. Whether mixing open format or electronic music genres, Crossfader Fusion adds an extra layer of control and artistry to live mixing, enabling unprecedented creative flexibility when transitioning between tracks. (*Crossfader FX via external mixers requires the Hardware to send MIDI out events when moving the crossfader, which the vast majority of modern mixers do. Please check Algoriddim's gear page for further infos on hardware compatibility.)
ARM64 support on Windows including Neural Mix 2.0
Rebuilt from the ground up for Windows on ARM, djay Pro fully leverages the Neural Processing Unit to power groundbreaking features like its industry-leading Neural MixTM stem separation, developed in close collaboration with AudioShake, at the highest quality and blazing processing speed. Moreover, the NPU powers a host of other features in djay Pro, making the app shine on Windows like never before. Algoriddim is a featured launch partner of Microsoft and Qualcomm for the next generation AI-based Copilot+ PCs.
Enhanced Streaming Integrations on Android
Beatport and Beatsource are now available, further expanding the streaming options for Android users.

Yes I'm getting to know more about the software but some things are not right in the app e.g mute until cue doesn't show on screen if it is activated or not I hope this can be upgraded and the tempo soft takeover be an optional function thanks

The main reason I have not moved over from Serato
It’s the subscription model that keeps the new features coming. Are they supposed to pay their employees with good wishes? This isn’t a mass market product, it’s only appealing to a small subset of all app buyers.

Once they added apple music I was so happy because I’ve used it for YEARS and have all my playlists on it and it finally makes it so much smoother to do on the go on my iPad

Djay user since 1.0 waaaaaaay back in the day. I’ve helped beta test , iron out audio issues and have supported algoriddim since day one. Phenomenal company!! Just grabbed my add on for the Joue J-Play , cannot wait for that to ship.
Was a Virtual DJ User before…but you guys changed my mind, your fluid bestgrids are way better and since you released the new version of neural mix it’s even better then the ones from VDJ and now you are supporting also a lot of gear and have Apple Music integration😍. Also a big argument for me was the pricing 50€ for a whole year for Djay Pro and on the other hand 24€ per month for VDJ!Thanks so much, keep doing like this, hear the wishes from your customers and just continue your journey, greetings from Germany 🫶🏻

This looks so good! I can FINALLY switch over. You guys are supporting solid mid range options! I'm thinking the rev5 for myself to start using djay. Well done! T7 was a big win for alot of people as well.
Just throwing an option out, I randomly picked up the reloop beatpad 2 at an auction since it went for dirt cheap. That thing is super underrated ad a midrange console, I normally play on the Mixon 8 or Roland 808, but the beatpad gets my thumbs up. (The Rev5 is also a great piece of gear though lol)
@@bmbc7127 yeah I was intrigued by the beatpad 2, but the inputs and older design and release date had me wanting to wait until they refresh that. IMO reloop is wasting the opportunity to kill the mid range 2 channel controller designed for djay pro.. I would def consider a mixon 2 pro
You guys have drank the coolaide. No one is truly testing the software just going along with all the other UA-camrs. Disservice to the followers of their channels. Djay pro, It’s good but not great. Needs more refinement in my opinion.
@kc2dex used it for at least 80 performances in 2024...Serato certified and still gravitate towards using Djay pro for most events. But honestly, believe what you want. Just don't start tossing your own Kool-aid around for people to drink.
@@bmbc7127I guess you don’t use Mixed In Key. DJay Pro key analyzer it’s not accurate for starters. Djay Pro it’s okay still needs refinement.
With the auto crossfader anybody can dj with perfect transitions, Neural mix makes it even better the isolated vocal, mealody and drums
Hey Algoriddim! Thank you for listening to our requests and making these amazing changes! I know it can be tough sometimes as people never seem satisfied LOL, but these are positive steps! Loving the RX3, Denon GO, Rane 4 and other new additions; I will agree on hopefully the screens and Roland 707m (mainly because I want to try that with Phase and turntables), but everything else it trending great! Looking forward to the next updates and always have been a fan of DJay Pro, just happy it is getting more love and recognition in the DJ community!

These guys are the ones to beat. The flex grid is phenomenal, something Traktor and Serato are lacking. The nearest thing I remember that came close were beat or warp anchors in M-Audio Torq but it was a manual process.
Rane four integration works great. Will definitely be using djay on my next gig.

Of course right after I stop using phase they add HID support... But they added native pad support for the Crss12's which is why I stopped using phase so it's still a win for me and everyone else using DJay... Great update

Rane Four support is exciting. I will finally get a chance to try out Djay Pro. Serato has become stagnant. There is so much more than can be done. I have so many ideas. I hope it is compatible with Pioneer DDJ-SP1 Subcontroller.

Rane Performer integration please. I'll be back in a week to check up on this. This is the most popular controller out there at the moment. To not integrate it with DJ Pro would be a huge mistake on the part of Algoriddm. I don't want to use Serato, I hate it.

I don’t hate Serato, I just really want to get away from the laptop.
I was a Denon DJ for a while with the SC5000 primes and the X1800 prime before switching over to Rane, so not using a computer was a little freeing.
I was using the Mixon 4 Pro in that transition as well so DJ Pro was my main driver for a little.
I fell in love instantly when I put the iPad Pro in the mix.
Then that was all she wrote.
Grabbed a bunch of Rane gear and boom I never looked back at a laptop. Rane 4 with two Rane 12mk2’s but had to go back to Serato. Now that the four is working I’m eager for them to get the Performer working as well.

Nice update with the new features, however you cant use the STEMS effect with Apple Music in Djay Pro 5.2 When that happens then Djay Pro will be my go to~

@@themrworldwide I think they have a deal with Apple not to add this option in Android. Android has very stable devices with great hardware. It's not like the old days when ios was dominating.
Just hope we can get screen support for the engine controllers like prime 4 and prime go! That will be 🔥

I wish this app had a one time fee to buy and not have to worry about monthly or yearly payments to upgrade to pro.
We need the DJ pro app to also act as a “remote app”. For instance, when using a laptop and a iPhone or iPad is plugged in via usb the secondary mobile device acts as an extended touch controller or “remote app”. Imagine being able to run your laptop as the primary and attaching a secondary device (iPad/iPhone) as your secondary remote app. You now have an instant controller.

Can they enhance the fluid beatgrid to perform the opposite function. Presently the fluid beatgrid is constantly adjusting to the downbeat, which does not create a constant bpm for genres of the 70’s, 80’s or 90’s era. Is it possible to allow the downbeat adjust to a steady beatgrid base on the bpm the user enter and locking it in, This enhancement will result with a steady bpm for genres of that era, and also allow the user the ability to utilize the new beatgrid on multi platforms. Can they also provide the user the ability to adjust the illuimation of the beatgrid marking to be more pronounced base on the environment the user is performing.

It really sucks that a bunch of hardware was added, but still no support for the RANE TWELVE, even though there was a partnership and support for the RANE TWELVE MKII for over a year now.
Nice that they have support for the, Pioneer DJ PLX-CRSS12.
Love this. Only thing I would say since updating Neural mix seems to be struggling to separate between Vocal and Harmonics when using 3 channel

@algoriddim, do you have any idea when vinyl DVS will be running fine with iOS? I've tried it with the Reloop Flux and iPhone 13 and no success. Then I bought a Pioneer DJM S7 and a M1 Chip iPad Pro. Unfortlly still has the same issues, after playing two or three songs, it starts to crash. I use it with the Ortofon Digital MkII and Serato time code.

Love it! Only thing I dont like is that you cant adjust the text scaling in the browser.
You can make the font larger for the browser :) just go to Settings -> Library -> Font Size. You can even adjust the Row Height :)
My favorite hardware is Roland 707m and it doesn’t support it , so it’s a no go for me, I’ll stick to Serato :-)

I love it. Got a couple of ideas like the echo out for stems will be nice. 👍. Mac keyboard shortcuts can be similar to the other programs. I don’t like the way they are now
Using the crossfader fusion messes up the existing equaliser settings on the new track… or is it just me?
Hi there, which Crossfader Fusion FX are you using when this happens? There are some Crossfader Fusion FX that make EQ moves automatically for smoother blends (eg the EQ Crossfader Fusion FX, and the Neural Mix Harmonic Sustain FX). If you don't want the EQ to automatically change when using Crossfader Fusion FX, you can try settings such as Filter, Fade, or Sweep.
I've also added this as a feature request for our dev team to consider in future versions. Thank you for your feedback and continued support, we appreciate it.

I’m starting to think the Prime 2 is the most hated on controller/standalone. Only because it’s too good.
Great video, and I'm excited about the new features. But can Djay Pro add the feature of library sync like rekordbox. I would love to have the feature of creating a playlist on my laptop (Windows) and syncing that playlist to my ipad. I don't like having to put all the individual files on my ipad and then creating a playlist. It's just a thought.
Hello. Will it be possible in the future to access playlists created on UA-cam Music directly in the app? I'm excited for this feature. I have many playlists created on UA-cam Music.
Have shared this feedback with the team :) you can try using Tune My Music or Soundiiz to export your UA-cam Music playlists to another streaming service that's integrated in djay (eg TIDAL with the DJ Extension)
Wish some of those mixing efx work with a rotary mixer.

Hey Algoriddim, great update but what about DVS - Thru mode for switching back and forth b/w real vinyl records? I’m an old school DJ with a hybrid setup using 1200s with an analog mixer. I know many others who have been also asking and waiting for this for quite some time now….but still crickets. If you want to be taken seriously this must be made a priority and fixed asap…I’m still patiently waiting, Thanks.

The flx10 integration is quite a bit basic at its current form. Stems sound great but the workflow is weird. Maybe I gotta wait before they iron out the wrinkles. Good start but theres still.a long way ahead.

Love the update! I have found an issue with the Pioneer DJM S-9. With the updated mapping, the crossfader has a weird curve with no cut-in. The settings are set to cut but it behaves incorrectly. Please review your default mapping
The linefaders don't work either

Could you fix the problem where the click tempo sometimes desynchronizes with the playing track tempo? Additionally, could you make it possible to assign a button for turning the click on and off on both the laptop and the MIDI controller?
