My view on the morph set is quite similar: an easily accessible set of armor new players can use so they don't have to worry about gear all the time. However where I dislike morph is when some people know how much you can do with it and stick to it and go around saying stuff like "it's the best build" or something along those lines. And personally I think sticking to just morph has its ups and downs: for one, you play with a balanced build that gives you a bit of everything, but it also makes you try out a bit underpowered versions of some builds or play styles. And when a person comes up to me who has thousands of hours on Wynn and tells me they use morph and nothing else I just feel pity for them because they never would get to experience a lot of the things Wynn has to offer.
absolutely, the beauty of Wynn comes from its build system but morph is an essential part of the game for the reasons you reiterated

My thoughts on morph is if your trying to make a build and dont have a good say boots and rings just use morph!
i love morph I use it every day every time it is my go to build i have spent several stacks of le to buy morph sets since I love it so much it is truly the best set. i get bullied every day in tcc because of my morph set but they do not understand it's true power and strength, it is truly a sad thing it is disliked by the majority of the Wynncraft (#1 Minecraft mmorpg community)

So true gladionus I also spend approximately 7 stack of le on 5 green morph sets with every type of tier 6 powders on them. It is really good and I wish people wouldn't bully me.

as much as morph is controversial, I, at least think the concept of getting the set over the entire playthrough of your wynncraft experience is cool.
I loved hoarding the set items when I got them on my first playthrough, and I feel morph gave me a better feeling of "im glad I kept that" even though people eventually told me mixed comments later down the line

Morph gets easily outclassed by other builds when above lvl 100 but if u are lazy u can use it since it has decent damage and ehp without spending a ton of le

Idk about the damage damage output was horrendous for my mage class compared to what I was using before basically just going for high main attack neutral damage

This 'transitional' point is even in the name - this set lets you 'morph' from one build to another
it’s also just really good regardless
i personally agree cause i usually use adventure set till im level 50 so i can use morph iron gold emerald and topaz then i just need to get decent armors to keep up so when i get to level 62 id equip the necklace then level 75 then level 87 then level 100
it makes it so you dont have to worry to much about what build to use
yeah tbh it makes leveling easy, even if it isn’t as “fun” imo
Not everyone (including me) wants to spend time getting complex builds, so its good that morph exists.

Morph the nothing is still very much a beginner build though due to the nothing not being able to take advantage of powder specials

Personally I think morph is way way better than people think. Unironically one of the better nonmythic builds if used correctly imo.
my only complaint is that people get overconfident with it- they think it’s way more powerful than it is, and end up bungling stuff like tcc runs because they don’t play cautiously
Morph is one of those sets where it’s good at everything but not great at everything. And that applies to below above and below level 100. There’s lots of ways to get significantly higher damage than morph set, even before level 100, for example ultramarine set giving insane DPS stats for a looong time, potentially well into the 80s or higher with the crazy damage and mana regen - as someone who frequently used nothing but morph and ultramarine while leveling classes, I would argue ultramarine is better, as well as several other pieces of gear, but what morph specializes in is being a really cheap easy to get set for new players to not have to worry about gear. It’s not the best, and especially after level 100 it gets outclassed by a lot of other gear, but that’s not the point of it.
ultramarine is better in some situations, but morph provides the best all around flexibility and thats why i say its so good
like anyone could easily do tcc or hell even nol (if the players dont suck ass) in morph, i dont think that holds though for ultramarine unless youre really good at the game
@@TheNelston Yeah. I think morph as a set is completely fine, cause of the aforementioned good at everything but not great at everything. It would be a problem if morph was simultaneously the greatest set in the game AND incredibly noob friendly - but it isn't. It's a good set for new players, but if you're a better player you can get far more value (especially after 100) buy using a different set, which is what makes morph balanced imo.

yeah that's about it. i usually run morph till i get to lvl 90+ and then i go for a proper build. it's definitely lazy, but i don't really feel like making a new build every 10 levels

Alright opinion time. Mostly I think your right. I was always on the side of the fence that thinks it’s bad, but if you’d ask me why I think it’s bad, I wouldn’t say it isn’t good. I’d have to rephrase myself. I think it’s lazy, not bad. I don’t think it’s lazy AND bad, because bad is assuming that you can’t do much with it, which is false, it can get you through many things. I think it’s lazy, because when u put on the set there’s no thinking in what to wear. There’s no variation when using morph, it’s just slapping on the armor and making sure the weapon you use doesn’t suck. I don’t blame newer players for using it, but what I also dislike about it, is people wearing it trying to overstep the bounds of what it was made for. Example, the other day I was doing Nol when we had a party member come in using morph bob’s dagger and we lost. Is that morph’s fault we lost, and not the fact that he was using a lvl 75 dagger? No, but morph probably had a factor, albeit not as great as a weapon choice. It’s not about the cost of gear you waste, it’s about brainpower(Lazyness). Spending emeralds willy nilly in the first playthough is fine, it promotes thinking with ideas like “Oh, I bought this and it was bad, I’m not buy this again.”. Regardless, I think it deserves to exist, but personally I dislike it for what it teaches players at times.
I can definitely see where you're coming from. I personally do think morph is "bad", in the sense that it does not hold up at all to builds with any reasonable end-game budget. Yes, it is also lazy, and that is precisely why, I believe, it's actually good for newer players who are unfamiliar with building. The reason I make an effort to limit my build videos to low-budget building is specifically because I want to encourage people to try different things out, but I will still tell people to use morph if their budget is tiny.
My biggest disagreement is with your statement that the lesson it teaches is bad. Yes, Wynncraft is a game that's heavily reliant on class building, but I think even more important is the underlying tenet of "here's a simple skill set, now go out there and kick some ass". For a lot of people, they don't want to spend hours thinking about build synergy and sustainable mana and all that, they just want something they can use to go beat up some bosses. Yes, there are people that will push things too far, and not realize they're out of their depth, but I think the most important thing it teaches people is how to utilize their class kits to the maximum potential. Sometimes, it will hurt other people on a micro level (like your NoL raid), but as a whole I think the macro-level result is a net benefit for Wynncraft.
This wasn't really well worded, because I'm quite tired, but I hope you get what I'm saying. Morph teaches players how to use their classes well while providing just enough of the main stats (ehp, damage, and sustain) to give them some buffer room to fail quite hard. Sometimes, they'll try to go too far and learn their lesson, but sometimes, they'll beat panic zealot and feel the same dopamine rush any of us did when we also beat him for the first time. At the end of the day, I think morph sucks when compared to other builds, but it is an absolutely essential set to keep in the game, and thus it is "good".
Yeah, overall I think you’re mainly right. There are some things I’d nit pick from what you said in response, but hey, you’re sleepy, I get it XD. I typed the comment in order to express my opinion and hopefully start a conversation, not a debate. Im actually glad you responded because after I typed the comment, I was worried my entire opinion was gonna get folded and that I’d have to return to the shadow realm, but you didn’t, which shows that maybe my opinions aren’t always trash. I cut my comment pretty short at the end because I didn’t want to seem like I was bashing on morph on and on(which I wasn’t). It’s good that you’re looking out for the newer players, I just don’t like running into players who seem set in stone in using it forever. It’s that lazy attitude that I don’t want engrained into players.

i used 6/8ths morph and 1 mana 7k meteors to solo Bob and Tower of Asenscion at level. i switched to champion while i wait to get stardust

A step up for me that wasn't super expensive but had way more damage was a poison build mage. It sounds dumb, but with courage, a Sequoia, and Uranium Aegis, I ended up doing 36k poison every second with that build, it felt amazing

My #1 rule of wynncraft is: when in doubt, morph will figure it out

i would say morph is only good when you hit lvl 100 and you didnt choose a build yet because there are a lot of builds better than full morph but finding a good build for yourself can take a little bit
yup, it took me a long time to find a build i liked for archer (went through tstack melee -> heavy melee -> spell spam -> spell steal -> divzer), and while a similar process happened on my assassin it was made much easier with morph
Also it can be used in midgame sets like semi morph +adamantite and smth like this i think
Morph literally morphs you to your future build until you have the money to buy it
I heard people ask you for builds to defeat corrupter of worlds me the guy who used ozone and skien with a few accessories out of my bank is thinking that was a boss i demolished that thing

@@TheNelston I am level 52 and I still somewhat know what you’re talking about. I use morph with bob’s battle chest plate scarlet veil and I heard morph isn’t so good at low level. Should I worry about builds, should I find better boots, or should I keep using morph?

morph sucks before like level 75 ish so don’t worry about using that, watch my build guide video to learn the tools and try it out for yourself :)

There's only one thing I got to add: Morph is incredibly usefull for people that play a large amount of classes (let's say around 10+) or play on alts as getting propper builds for that many classes is realy expensive and at some point your also just run out of Ideas for different builds that you want to use on all your classes. That is when morph comes in very handy a set you usually have laying around and can just use to have a propper build to run some activities with without having to switch builds around on classes/accounts to much. (Or you just use cosmic if you're very lazy and don't need to do stuff like raids)
yeah, it was critical for my goal of leveling all the classes to 105. also, some people just dont have the bank space to store all the items for different builds, making it really hard to actually manage that many classes and still have enough room to work with
one nitpick is that cosmic takes ??? to use, which makes it the ultimate anti-lazy set haha

I'm using a different build on all my 14 classes. With the emeralds you get from quests on a class you can easily get a build that's way better than morph. Also while I'm at it: 15.5k meteor damage is *not* good. You are forgetting about stuff like endurance and courage Peaceful Rest can use, for example a cheap ETWF peaceful rest build with ~45k ehp gets 27k meteors thanks to endurance and courage (which usually both are maxed all the time)
Morph to me is just a jack of all trades master of none and the only time I'd use it is for leveling or as a placeholder build, you can do so much more with actual builds and make morph look like piss very easily, I agree it's a good cheap option, but most people end game who did all the money quests probably wont be bound to a 1le budget, Morph is a nice budget build that doesn't excel in any area, but if you do need a build for long term use Morph is just straight up bad
a lot of casual players like to store their wealth instead of using it, which i understand because it's difficult to build money without having money to invest in the first place; thats the reason i set a 1 le budget

The nothing is good on itself BTW, AND ANY KIND OF NOTHING SLAP THAT HAS A BIT OF SPELL DMG RAW WILL HIT 15k METEORS
50k is also not hard, its about 100 sp in agil and def
also it definitely costs more than 1 le to get a ok set thats had good rolls.
any slap build with sp pots and higher than 12k raw hp and some skill can solo LI, not sure about raids ive never done them bc im banneed
