Oh my goodness, I know it will be fantastic, but so much to do. Yes I would be totally overwhelmed by it. Brave family, future looks so bright there. Love the views and peace it exudes
Congratulations on buying your new house that's cool. windows are expensive and you should probably reuse a lot of those windows cuz they look like nice Windows and a lot of them as well. but it's really hard for me to tell anything from where I'm sitting just a suggestion. I'll mind my business LOL
Thank you very much. We are super excited. Ive been wanting to live in this neighborhood since it was being built 16 years ago. Actually you did well noticing the windows. Original house was a premium quality build and the windows are from a high end local supplier. Structure is sound. Hoping the electricals and plumbing are good.
Just wondering what you paid for the house. You are a better man then me. This is a massive undertaking and I would be overwhelmed with all the details. Good luck with your renovations and I am sure it will turn out fabulous and well worth all the time and money spent.
Thank you. The plan is quite simple. Keep it clean and tidy, and not race against the clock. House was reasonably priced for its condition. The renovation costs will bring it up to market value near to 20million Baht so I will have no equity in real terms.
That big glass cabinet in the pantry that looks like a nice piece of furniture. I'm not sure but it looks like mahogany? Anyway God bless you and your family and I can't wait to see you it when it's done.
It's plastic with wood effect. Will be placed at the back of the house as we will have a Thai kitchen outside (behind the pantry/kitchen). Thai food can be very pungent to cook with all the 🌶 and garlic so European kitchens indoors and Thai outdoors.
Wow what a huge undertaking, hope it doesn't cost you a fortune to restore. How they could wreck a place like that is beyond me, guess they don't have building inspectors over there!
Structurally the house is sound but the decor and additional work done by the previous owner is dire. This week the crew have started with the internal demolition. I will upload a progress video over the weekend.
Thanks for sharing, Great content even though I'm not much of a house person.. Doing a house renovation in Thailand, would you say it's a stressful venture or a relaxing one? X marks the spot.. Lol😉

Thank you. 😊
Cool man looks like an awesome project for you.
Thank you. I'm hoping to take it in my stride and enjoy the process 🤞

The existing interior architecture is very busy I'm sure you'll make it way better than it is
