- I headed out to my local inlet today in hopes of a good bite and I couldn’t ask for more. When I showed up the Striped a bass were blitzing everywhere!!!! Awesome day, landed a few fish and lost just as many using poppers….Remember to check/change your leader line after landing fish as you’ll see I broke off 2 different times. Hows the bite on the inlet jetty? You ever try off of there or only bass/ blues?
Commercial guys usually clean out that spot by the time the season for us starts with the blackfish….all through the summer trying for sheepshead over there I was catching huge blackfish and once October came it was quality over quantity…..I used to fish that jetty a longgggggg time ago for tog…there are some areas along that jetty and at the tip of the jetty that hold some tog but nothing to chant about…I’ll be releasing a shore togging video today…Thanks for watching 😎 STAY TUNED 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
