How tf am I just finding this song in 2020? Dude this is gold. Jesse is a beast. All he do (ERRA, Ghost Atlas, their solo projetcs, this song) is gold.
Shit you and me both man - actually shit I guess I'm all the way late in 2021 lol. Crazy good shit right here blown away so far only 2 tracks into this album!
I disagree, I like volumes' style of playing because it's their own and a lot of people like it. This is great too, and it's because it's their own unique sound that people like.
TJ Deuces took the words out of my mouth. Volumes is Patented volumes, their rythmic and percussive style is what makes them, them. If anything, Northlane should have went this way with Singularity cause there were some songs i didn't enjoy off the album. i enjoyed everything from this album
"In the wake of a new day you'll see You'll see that you're not the victim It's a simple structure You'll see the universe is the victim." Don't let this slip, probably the most important lyrics they've ever written.
I think... Invent animate was a original and with very much music potential but ever the best bands fall in the another ways. Ben English was the soul of project. I think...
@@sarcasm4371 look dude. I understand the change in the music. Year by year everything change and The project of invent animate was the same. Well, i just say... What do You wait in the future of music??
This is one of my favorites, a real masterpiece from the beginning to the end. The part at 1:49 and the breakdown after is especially inspiring to me. Don't even know how many times I have listened it for 8+ years. Probably, something close to infinity =)
Amazing instrumental work, beautiful feature from Jesse... what more could one want in a song? So glad to see these guys gaining a bigger following- they deserve it.
i relate to these lyrics so hard. the combination of them along with the guitar and blast beats create this aura i cant find anywhere else. what a song
Invent, Animates best song yet? WOW, just hits you like a ton of bricks, with such cool subtle atmospheres and melodies in the background. Lightfinder was my first favorite, then Wolf Skin... but now I think it's Naturehold. Can't wait for the new album!
Well.. The reason they sound a bit like Erra now is probably because Jesse Cash (Erra) co-produced the album, and that they recorded it in the same studio where Erra recorded Impulse and Augment.
well it is the guy from erra on the hook.. and northlane is like a tiny baby compared to these veterans. honestly cant stand northlane but hey I'm no critic
This should be their next music video, I could imagine that last breakdown as this guy falls on the grass, fading and then consumed by the earth, plants and flowers that surround him. I gues it could fit the lyrics. .
I interviewed Invent, Animate last month while they were on tour with Texas In July. The band talks about details on next album's release date, advice on up and coming bands trying to get their name out, what bands they'd like to tour with and more! You can check it out at www.thenoizeden.com/?p=85. I also did a full review of the Texas In July final tour stop at the Boardwalk in Orangevale, CA on 11-21-15 which had Invent, Animate as an opening band at www.thenoizeden.com/?p=106. Not going to lie, the clean lead part at the beginning sounds very similar to Volumes "Gateways" to me. But this is so far one of my fav albums of the year.
I was expecting Volumes new stuff to be my fav of the year but the album disappointed me. Now i think i've found what i was looking for. I'm pretty sure i'll be listening to this for a long long time.
Personally, i find all the "heavy" songs in that record pretty boring, the album is amazing, that's common sense, but I personally was expecting something else. I only listen to Erased, Up all night and across the bed, the rest is just meh for me.
Vahle is ok, i know it's a sentimental song but lyrics are super raw to me and i just don't dig it so much. 91367 nah, i find nothing interesting in that song.
The only thing similar is the guitar riffs. I'd imagine it sound similar since Northlane and Invent, Animate uses 7 strings. Either way the each are there own band and I can't wait for this album to come out
Check out our channel for our newest single with a guest feature from Ben English himself of Invent, Animate! Leave a comment and let us know what you think!
Haven't even listened to northlane yet, but you "fans" have me leaning toward not even checking them out.. you're not helping the band you only make me want to do the opposite. These guys fucking jam, some of the best gym sessions I've ever had.. other worldly shit that has me zoned the fuck out. I'll take that shit errytime
Haha I feel you. This album is really empowering but I really think you should give Northlane's older albums a chance though. Discoveries and Singularity. Really gives off similar raw emotions as Invent Animate. I love Invent so much but you'd be missing out if you're not at least giving it a chance!
Really not liking that this band decided to start doing whiny Northlane-esque vocals. The lows are great, but the fry vocals just sound...whiny and weak. There is no power behind them.
Don't know whether to mosh or to cry to this breakdown lmao
How tf am I just finding this song in 2020? Dude this is gold. Jesse is a beast. All he do (ERRA, Ghost Atlas, their solo projetcs, this song) is gold.
You definitely need to listen to everything they have released
@@martinpereira189 I will try to do it
You should check this one too: "Novelists - Joie de Vivre Ft. Jesse Cash"
@@mfadel1012 I know that song, I heard it one million times 😂
Shit you and me both man - actually shit I guess I'm all the way late in 2021 lol. Crazy good shit right here blown away so far only 2 tracks into this album!
The djent is strong in this one.
jesse's voice is so pure.
I came here because I saw Jesse Cash, and I found an amazing new band to listen to!
Sadly the vocalist leaved
@@yuki1304 But he was replaced by Marcus from Aviana so its all good
the opening gives me chills every time
That breakdown at the end.... fucking perfect
Searched UA-cam for "ft Jesse cash" and a million songs and bands popped up and this one w invent animate is by far superior
Best use of blast beats I've heard so far
Damn! Jesse Cash s voice its just amazing
Volumes should of taken this path with their new album.
I agree. Honestly, there are only three tracks that I feel are worth listening to on the new Volumes album, and it is a damn shame. (In my opinion)
Agreed. Such a let down, and I usually enjoy clean vocals!
I disagree, I like volumes' style of playing because it's their own and a lot of people like it. This is great too, and it's because it's their own unique sound that people like.

Riccardo Spadano I'm not hating on No Sleep, In my opinion it felt like huge step back from V.I.A on some tracks.
Thanks, Jesse.
You're welcome.
^^ I'm liking this shit it actually made me laugh haha
how dare people dislike this song!
I’ve listened to this song probably over 100 times and I’m a big Erra fan and I somehow never realized the chorus was Jesse, wow
the lyrics of Invent Animate are always great !
"In the wake of a new day you'll see
You'll see that you're not the victim
It's a simple structure
You'll see the universe is the victim."
Don't let this slip, probably the most important lyrics they've ever written.
Northlane is my favorite band, and I'm still getting this album for sure. Who cares about the similarity, dig it because it sounds fantastic.
Architects, northlane, and erra combined
and oceans ate alaska
*invent animate and erra combined
@x _ x guitarwork is pretty similar in a lot of parts

3:20

Sounds really cool. Reminds me to the first Northlane album.

One of Invent's catchiest choruses.
ive literally listened to this atleast 300 times this week
LOL me too, great song to listen to before going to work at a telemarketing room haha
Looks like I'm not the only one who thinks this sounds like a mix of Northlane and ERRA. Nothing bad though, a hybrid of two of my favourite bands.
Well.. The reason they sound a bit like Erra now is probably because Jesse Cash (Erra) co-produced the album, and that they recorded it in the same studio where Erra recorded Impulse and Augment.
Nice to know.
Absolutely nothing wrong with that combo
John Doe And they seem to do it to perfection. Don't know why everyone gets butthurt with this speculation
well it is the guy from erra on the hook.. and northlane is like a tiny baby compared to these veterans. honestly cant stand northlane but hey I'm no critic
When you have the time, you guys should check out the outro breakdown in this song
Jesse Cash is one of those vocalists who is more recognized than the actual band. One of the best out there that's for damn sure
That shit goes straight to the heart. Also the lyrics
If 3:22 doesn't make you slip away into a void of ecstasy then I don't know why you're even here
This should be their next music video, I could imagine that last breakdown as this guy falls on the grass, fading and then consumed by the earth, plants and flowers that surround him. I gues it could fit the lyrics. .

Extremely awesome song
In another timeline, Ben joined ERRA, and the sound is good and awesome!
Jesse Cash has a great fucking voice
Jesse's verse is so fucking great! His voice is legendary.
Not going to lie, the clean lead part at the beginning sounds very similar to Volumes "Gateways" to me. But this is so far one of my fav albums of the year.
If Jesse sounds this good on the new ERRA stuff...
This was so good live! Saw them in London Ontario, they fucking killed it! I got to meet ben after, such a chill dude
Songs dont get much better than this at ALL
Oh hell yeah
I was expecting Volumes new stuff to be my fav of the year but the album disappointed me. Now i think i've found what i was looking for. I'm pretty sure i'll be listening to this for a long long time.
Why? Volumes new album was fucking Marvelous. Aggressive, ambient, psychedelic Djent. Am I the only one who likes that mix?
Personally, i find all the "heavy" songs in that record pretty boring, the album is amazing, that's common sense, but I personally was expecting something else. I only listen to Erased, Up all night and across the bed, the rest is just meh for me.
Ivanoffeo Really? 91367 and Vahle were my fave. You didn't like them?
Vahle is ok, i know it's a sentimental song but lyrics are super raw to me and i just don't dig it so much. 91367 nah, i find nothing interesting in that song.
Volumes new album was just okay for me, nothing special
Great song, vocals sound more clear than in other tracks I've heard. Having Jesse in the song is just a bonus.
JESSE GOESSS HARDDDDDD
god dammit i love this album
wow I'm really liking this band
can't wait for their new album
HOLY SHIT!!! This song just gave me goose bumps!! I love it!
Idk if he is a beast more like a mystical angelic form
The broken notes that play as the melody = these colours don't run by Architects, pretty much exactly the same
ripper of an album
I saw this band live a couple months back, they played this before Dankbloom. Holy fuck, it was dope.
That black metal drum intro 🤘💪🖤
Damn this is great. I hope these guys get some recognition
The band sounds like currents, excellent work
Yeah, way ahead of their time
As September is suicide awareness month I'd like to remember those who are no longer with us and those who are here still battling were not alone 🖤
please make a song featuring adrian fitipaldes of northlane.
Those days are over dude
***** What makes you say that?
The first time I heard this song I thought it was Adrian
Blueskythinking why are you everywhere
finally they are going back to how they were
Interesting song... Don't remember liking so much old Invent Animate songs
Didn't know Jesse was in this wow
Fuck this is going to be album of the year for me
Im likin the BOS breakdown similarity :P good shit guys
Jesse's vocals sound so great combined with Invent animates vocals, better then the combination in Erra imo XD
This reminds me so much of a Veil of Maya song. Same guitar melody
the riff at the beginning and end sound so similar to gateways by volumes.. with that aside this band is AMAZING and volumes well, you know lol
nice,sigura
OMG
another day in the life of a passerby.
Holy shiet *_*
This is really good! I hate to say it though, this reminds me a lot of Northlane. I think it's the vocals.
Northlane meets Volumes.
Yeahh son I hear it. Really hope these guys get a direct support spot when Northlane comes back for a North American tour
KingCobra21 meets erra
since northlane hasnt come out with dick in forever these guys are a nice sub
Well Northlane lost Adrian easily the heart and soul of Northlane. A track with their new vocalist comes out Nov 21st.
Waou!!!! Fantastico :D
Shit goes hard
I always thought one of the other band mates was singing. I was very wrong
Pretty fucking proud
Invent animate sounded like modern metalcore even before the modernity
The only thing similar is the guitar riffs. I'd imagine it sound similar since Northlane and Invent, Animate uses 7 strings. Either way the each are there own band and I can't wait for this album to come out
Everyone is either talking about Northlane or ERRA, and I don't like either. But I do enjoy Invent, Animate
dafuq is wrong with erra?!
ive grown to love this band and im not usually into the whole clean singing but this band is awesome!! better than devil wears prada IMO!
The waves ep got me into this band. I do enjoy this but is the vocalist different?
+Chase Pavlich As far as I know it's always been Ben English on vocals.
Check out our channel for our newest single with a guest feature from Ben English himself of Invent, Animate! Leave a comment and let us know what you think!
*yet another comment about a band that isn't I/A*
I ate a brownie once
same
anyone else getting a Architects vibe?
Yeah the angle like synth in the background at 2:45 sound very similar to what architects use to make their stuff sound super ambient like.
since when is it a bad thing to sound a little like Northlane? lol. Both bands are dope
I remember showing my friend these guys an was like better version of northlane. I hadn't even heard of northlane before I had these guys haha
Djent 🎸🎤
Erra is touring right now with invent animate and they do not play this song live.
Such a waste
That in fact, is a waste 😔 this song slaps
What the fuck am I missing?
Sounds like a combination of Architects and Northlane
If this band didn't sound a pretty decent amount like northlane, then people wouldn't be saying so haha. Cheeeeeeell.
don't look like nothlane to me, I follow the band, and Ben's evolution.
2:09 is very Architects like.
Reminds me of Northlane
Haven't even listened to northlane yet, but you "fans" have me leaning toward not even checking them out.. you're not helping the band you only make me want to do the opposite. Just listen the 1st and 2nd album. Cause you will regret on 3rd album
IMO this is alot better than Northlane, and I like Northlane
Northlane 2.0
ah... i preferer jesse here more than in his band
Really not liking that this band decided to start doing whiny Northlane-esque vocals. The lows are great, but the fry vocals just sound...whiny and weak. There is no power behind them.
Northlane blows anyways
