Great video.
Just got an R50.
Thanks for showing the lenses.
just got an r50 today thanks for the inspiration and information!✌🏽
Your welcome and thanks for watching the video 🙏🙏🙏
Great video! 👌
Purchased the R50 last month for $600 flat with the kit lens. I will be purchasing the Nifty Fifty lens next. Thanks for the video.
That's such a good price, if that US Dollars? Thanks for watching 🙏🙏🙏
@@SeedubsMedia yes off of eBay open box
Nice
Same here!!
Just ordered the R50, and I think the first accessory will be the wrist strap. Got a good deal with the kit, spare battery, 50mm lens, and a nice voucher. AND all my R5 lenses will fit it if I want.
Awesome mate, did you get it for street photogrpahy?
@@SeedubsMedia I do a lot of travel OS for work, so it will be a great travel buddy. And so light for the backpack.
@@SeedubsMedia No, in Australia, from Teds.
Thanks, great content! Saved me from agonising over some purchases.
Glad I could help! Thank you for watching 😁
Love my R50 😎⚡️🤙
Great camera 🙏
You could use a Godox flash, for example the v850, but could it be used in S1 or S2 mode to detect the flash of the camera's built-in flash?
As I got a number of EF and EF-S lenses the most important addon is the RF/EF-S adapter, so I can use my EF lenses, including the EF nifty figty lens! ;-)
Completely agree. If you were already in the old system no need to buy new lens yet.
Thank you so much for this video. What gear would you recommend adding to the list when making cooking video's in the kitchen? (I film myself and the food, I might get a second camera for it)
Thanks for watching 🙏🙏🙏 I would say a good video light. Maybe two
thanks sergant
Thinking about picking up the R50 when I don’t want to lug around my R6. 👍
That's exactly why I got it. I wanted a street camera but was unimpressed by others on the market. Thanks for watching mate 😁
@@SeedubsMedia How does it feel with the 15-35 big beauty on there? I was going to use the RF 100-400 on it for the extra reach, but wasn’t sure if it was too big for the body or not?
It fits although feels out of proportion. But the quality is amazing due to the lens. No problems.
I much prefer the peak design anchor links on my Sony a7iv.
for sure mate, much better. Hope your well.
Awesome video. I have R50 and I use Canon RF16mm F2 8 STM for Travel vlog. Which Peter M. filter I should use for videos and what size? Thanks
mate im not sure about filters, i use the black mist pro nd filter but its nothing special
Plz respond, I'm a beginner photographer and my interests are landscape and street photography. Which camera would you suggest amongst Canon r50( 825 $ in India with 18-45mm kit lense) or Sony a6100( 874 $ with dual kit lens 16-50mm and 55-210mm) ?
it’s saying my mic is not compatible and it’s the same u have
I was just wondering, can i put adopter to ef to rf, on the r50, and use lens such as 70-200 2.8
the EF EOS R adaptor allows you to use EF and EF-S lens respectively. hope that helps.
How strong do you think the lugs on the Status Anxiety strap are? The cable seems really thin to me and I have no idea how strong it is. I'm not sure I trust it especially when it spins around and binds up. What's your opinion?
Hi mate it is really thin the material that connects the strap to the camera. It hasn't broken but it is thin
I loved ladies and germs!! :)
😁 my language 😂😂 thank you for watching 🙏
Hello great video! Question...would you think it is a good idea to have both the 50mm AND the 35mm or can 1 deliver both attributes?
My mind sees this answer. 50 for portraits 35 for street. But also 35 is great for video as an all-rounder.
@SeedubsMedia i was thinking the same but needed confirmation, thanks for your input much appreciated!👍
What lens hood size we can use for the kit lens ?
Hi mate the information on the product sheet says EW-53 is the correct lens hood. For the 18 to 45 RF kit lens
Have you tried the recent 28mm lens?
Hi mate, no I haven't but I'm tempted. I'm holding on to a dream of the l series 35mm F1. 2 but I'm not sure when it's coming
Sir please suggest a budget lens for macro photography.
the only two are the 28mm macro and 35mm macro. not the cheapest lenses but not the most expensive. I have a video coming out soon on lens selections
Tripod, a couple of spare batteries and a carrying bag and you’re good to go!
What type of batteries do you use, third party or Canon? I always try and go with the Canon.
Is an external mic necessary to video a live band in a small venue? Thank you!
Hey mate I would definitely use a small mic. Even just a small rode mic. But turn your mic settings down to plus 1 for a band.
Sound settings to plus 1 on the vu meter instead of -12?@@SeedubsMedia
Sorry I always struggle explaining things clearly. Manually turn down the gain on your mic to zero so it cannot pic up any sound then just increase it by one increment. Because the band will be so loud it will blow the audio out.
This is how I record loud music.
Hey bro - I'm buying this week and would like to ask, R50 or R10? Most people say the R10 from my research - what do you think, having the R50? (I know all the differences, just want to know if you can see benefits/negatives now you've owned the R50 for a while)
Hey mate, thanks for watching. I honestly think it won't matter they are so close. Some publications say the R50 some say the R10. I love the R50 for street photography because it's so small and light.
@@SeedubsMedia Thanks for the reply :) I just got back from the Gold Coast with the R50! Got it for $990, and there's a redemption on too - a Canon bluetooth HG100-TBR ($169) tripod free.
Score mate, enjoy your new camera and all the fun you can have creating with it. Stoked for you 😁
@@SeedubsMedia I've hit my first issue with the R50 sadly. It seems to be a big one too. I use DxOPhoto Lab, but it only supports this camera in JPEG, I need RAW. So I tried ON1 Photo RAW 2023, which is my back up - no dice, doesn't recognise the CR3 files either. Finally, I try trusty Lightroom Classic - nope, unrecognised file format - any ideas?
Hi brother I have r50 canon need to use EF LENS, which mount I have to buy?
What camera are you using?
Hi mate I'm using a r6 mark 2.
umm. first of all the R50 is 49 mm. the filters you recommend is 82mm. not going to work, lol
Filter threads dear. But thanks for the wise guy comment 😜
@@SeedubsMedia oh, my bad, 😄😄
