    Yo dude, I just wanted to thank you. I just spent the last 4 hours to produce about a minute and 14 seconds of music. It's not much and it's poorly mixed due to time restraints, but your advice has been paramount to me achieving this today. I also went with FL studios because a while back I was struggling to pick a DAW, seeing you use it inspired me to buy it. Cheers dude, you're a legend!

    Great video. Going to try this suite of amps this weekend for sure.
    One tip: If you want to use the Grind/33 or anything similar on higher tunings C and up to standard E, try using it in parallel. I always do this with overdrives and boosts as I do not tune that low. So if the pedal sucks out to much low end and you can not compensate for it on the amp or with and eq, just run it parallel and mix it in (in daw or with a wet dry signal mixer if the epedal is a IRL one). Thus you can max the effect of the pedal and mix in just the right amount for you to get the effect but keep as much of that low end as you like.

    That demo song is Phenomenal. Your demo songs just keep on soaring. Thanx for the info on STL having Aussie creative input. I idn't know that. I love STL products, an this will grow and expand in the future to something special. Given the range of amps used in certain TONEHUB preset packs like Hughes & Kettner, Diezel Einstein, Herbert, VH4, Driftwood Purple Nightmare, Bogner Uberschall, Engl Powerball, INvader, Savage, which i haven't seen in other vst plugins,............Amphub and Tonehub are incredible. STLTONES is on fire

  • @davidmultimedia2024
    @davidmultimedia2024 3 роки тому

    Man, you totally nailed the conclusion. STL Amphub is completely amazing. Every single amp and fx sound and feel exactly like the real thing... the responsiveness is shockingly realistic, not only the gain reacts to the guitar volume knob (like most good amp sims these days), but the major difference i instantly feel is the treble dynamics and how it reacts to the pick attack. When you pick very softly, it sounds bold, dark and warm.. and the shine kicks in with so many layers of texture the more you dig in, it’s incredible! It’s also worth mentionning that I owned both an Axe FX II and a Kemper for a while, and i can definitely say STL Amphub amps sound and feel even more like real tube amps. This is ground breaking, especially for the price of 10$/month. Can’t wait to see what new amp and fx will be added next! :) and no.. i’m not paid by STL, just completely blown away!

    It starts a real arms race. I guess. So far NeuralDSP was the to-go option as Bias FX is not so popular - and neither too good, as well. You made an awesome demo! But don't get so add-making. There are 6 pedals - doesn't seem like "a lot of pedals". The post effects are not crazy numerous either. And the AC/DC tone was definitely too dry - it felt like AC/DC on Fortin Cali by NDSP. I will wait and see how often they really add new stuff. If it goes well, I'll maybe go with AmbHub instead of the next NDSP plugin. Thanks for the news!

    all they have that is good is the Howard Benson Marshall mods and fender tweeds, the Howard Benson are by the far the best sounding all around Marshall Plexi-2203-2555 nothing touches them, they are also the only plugs that sound identical in headphones as your monitors...which means they are translating correctly, for the rest you an make your own HB versions with softube and pedals (don't bother with amproom, its another thing) and anything other then stl and softube would go to Neural DSP, the Fortin nameless for high gain and anything amp they have with clean channels and their reverb are ambient kings, amps like the Fortin Cali or Archetype Abasi, Soldano.

      I will say that no amp sim I've used has actually been unresponsive enough to notice other than BIAS/BIAS FX though, even older stuff like POD Farm and the built-in Cubase VST Amp Rack sound and respond fine. Yes, the Neural stuff responds better than most others, but sound is still 100% mix and ear dependent.

      I tested the Tonehub and found myself in the need to do extensive tweak and layering to get a good tone out of it. Even using artist presets wasn't as easy as it should have been. It was far easier with those Neural plugins.

    As a Vox/Orange player predominantly, I'm not sold on the models. I mean, they're passable, but only just. It's mostly geared towards the high gain/metal players for sure. Not sure why they went with the Orange model they did, should have went with the MatAmp/OR120, you know, *the* Orange Amp.
    Eh. For $10/mo, could do worse. Just not sold on it, personally. If the Vox emulation was better, maybe.

    As a guy that plays mostly metal. This seems unnecessary. My favorite amp is the Ignite Emissary and I've had that free for years. I would rather buy a Neural DSP plugin. Those sound so much better than this. At least for High Gain metal stuff. I can't speak for cleans but I can get really good cleans out of free plugins. I feel like with some tweaking you could get a similar sound with free plugins.

Personalized links usually mean that the content creator gets a kickback of a small percentage should the person clicking the link purchase anything. The free NaLex Amplex comes with more amps than this and since it's completely customizable it can be expanded infinitely.

      @sampojuuti 3 роки тому

      @@spanneng I meant that Emissary itself is a free plugin and you can already achieve pretty good results with it even tho it's really saturated. This video gives me impression that AmpHub isn't that big of a step tone quality-wise but I can be wrong. My go to plugin is currently ML Super Duper which is awesome.

    • @JonnyBlammo

      As someone who has used LePou/NaLex/other free sims for a long time, you really have to try the plugin over hearing it in a video. Directly A/Bing the LePou Dual Rec vs the AmpHub one really shows the accuracy of the AmpHub version. I bought AmpHub and a bunch of amps/pedals because it really does sound more accurate to the real deal amps than anything else I've tried.
      All our ears being different, of course, I encourage you try the 10 day trial if you haven't already and decide for yourself :)

    Keyan, srsly, try a H&K Triamp and you will find that to be every amp you ever need. It's not that modellers can't sound then, cos they can, but they also need a lot of faffing about to get the best from them, and make all guitars sound the same.
