1 time when I played volleyball I was in 4th grade and I was playing with adults at the park for my school end of the year celebration scored half of the points by underhand serving
i have so many things to say about this video lol first thing is the 'highlight subtitles' and how every hit is called a spike. the two are two distinct actions in volleyball.. and when a serve comes directly over and they hit it down, it isn't considered a block. second thing is the crowd. they are so unaware of the situation they are in and one of them keeps screaming in a freakishly high pitch, which, as a setter myself, is very distracting, as setters are responsible for planning the attacks and have to focus at all times. last thing is their skill (both teams). these guys get training a few times every week, and yet their skill is still at this level? what is the coach doing? some of these guys don't even know how to hit properly, and their form is all messed up. for example, that tall kid from lawson? he hits when he's coming down, and it's not even a proper hit. he doesn't swing his arm, and just flicks his wrist. i mean, it's probably ok at this level, but if he wants to go higher, it's gonna be really tough. on top of that, the setters, who should be the most diligent and skilled from each team, barely know how to set without carrying the ball, and they will just tend to use an underarm pass. this might be the coach's tactics to play it safe, but if the coach wants his/her players to excel in the sport, this isn't really the correct way to go. i have no bad intentions, and i don't want to berate any players. just putting it out there for anyone to discuss about. thanks for the video.
0:59 uh line fault where is the call???
wetdog 200 oh yeah sorry about that I just got a bit mixed up with all the lines lmao
Stop putting awesome spike lmaoo
Homie looked up middle school boys volleyball and expected it to be exact like haikyuu
Those nets are short
Rice Boy middle school nets
Natalia Courtney even though its middle school is still supposed to be at the top its boys. mix 6 or boys/mens is supposed to be 8’ tall
The net is lower the grade 7 girls vball net
@@champreilly6663 at least in my club the nets are different heights for different ages.
Boys middleschool is supposed to be 7’4 and girls middleschool is supposed to be 7 feet but highschool boys is like 7’11.82827392817282
Do any of these boys know how to jump?
They're so good. Good defense, good serve, good spikes, good sets, good blocks, and good bumps
lmao terrible defense ok serves terrible hits haha none of them were spikes ok sets and HORRIBLE "BUMPS" there called PASSES

Is jay tall or is the net just a foot shorter?
It is so cringeworthy that everyone calls hits spike
They are the same thing anyways.
@@diamondemerald116 No a spike is a hit going fully downward and a hit is going straight.
Nick Hornlein isnt that a bounce?
Nick Hornlein pretty late, but a spike is when you jump
They in eight grad ecut them some slack
I wish my school had boys volleyball 😒
??? Are school only has girls
Mine has volleyball, but my friend and I are like the only ones joining.
On the team*
What's weird is in the beginning the guy spies but he's back court isn't that a violation?
No as long as the guy didnt pass the red line in front of him he can spike
I will go to usa next year I hope my school have mens volleyball team
3:14 a decent spike

Those aren’t even spikes
somebody on lawson should jump serve. increase chances of getting the point. Also tell the setter to do dumps
DatBoiFreshMeme Hyun do dumps? They can barely set. 90% has been a carry or a double contact.
I agree they should jump serve
