It looks nice, even 800$ nice, but I do have a few gripes with the design. Its Clamshell makes it look cheaper than it is, the stock looks a bit uncomfortable and the picatinny being off spec is pretty unacceptable. Also for looking so much like a firearm, the giant scar attachment should be bright orange, no matter what colour the body is. The bolt action priming style definitely speaks more to the backyard/non-competitive nerfer which makes it even harder to justify the price tag. Proprietary mags also just suck.

Try the SWIN Edition Worker Swift for a "Budget" and Pump Action... The prime is quite Lighter than the usual 1.6 spring and you have the "same" kind of Performance... Power and Accuracy. That said, the Balance 2 is REALLY something impressive!!
If I'm spending that much I'm going with the newer, extremely accurate, Sabre M20S. I just watched Bradley Phillips overview of it. It was hitting with precision at 50 meters. And, even extreme accuracy at 60 meters. And, was closer to $700.00.

That being said it is a great concept and cool piece that screams quality (well other than the Delron, which is not a high quality engineered plastic) but I understand why it was used in this case. That really does look satisfying! I don't know how many people will buy these but I'm sure there's a market for it - people who just want to jump in the hobby and have more money than time will perhaps pay for this. For such a high price tag it's just a proprietary mag using bolt action with wonky rails. It's mostly metal yeah, but bolt action is slower and usually used by more casual nerfers because tacticool sniper status..

There was a modding community simular to teching in airsoft where evefyone is trying to get high muzzle velocity (banned frim every field) or 3000rpm (m4 with dual sector gear go brrrrrrrrrt and onlybalowed semi auto). This looks like a barret m87 and unlike most nerf guns, it has picitini rails.

I think that's a definition of "we lost the way". At this point it is just an awkward airsoft rather than nerfing. Obviously I'm not one to say people shouldn't buy what they want, damn, go for it if you have money - but I would say anything above Nexus, where it is so readily and easily available is a bit unhealthy. Nerfers in UK can only dream about Nexus Pro and all of the Dart Zone great blasters so this does indeed seem like, pun intended, overkill.

Depends on where you live. Where I live, you don't need any license to own a rifle, shotgun, or pistol, but need to pass a background check if buying from an dealer. None of that if you buy it off some guy at a gun show.

For $800 I'm just buying a Weihrauch air rifle. Foam darts aren't "really" my hobby, my hobby is shooting things through the air without using chemical energy.
It comes with only 1 magazine, isn't compatible with any other magazines, isn't pump-primed, and the top rail doesn't fit anything? Seriously? No.Oh, and the stock looks too short and not adjustable.
There's no way I'd have $800 to spend on a foam flinger. I Appreciate the high end manufacturing and that that costs but in the end does it give you $800 of performance? Probably not. Only having one mag is a problem. Lets face it, if you spent the same money on other blasters you'd outgun this in a game. (Except the mando rifle ;). ) Im sure its lovely and all and is a great collector's piece but only if youve more money than you know what to do with.

For $800, it needs to be compatible with almost everything and shoot almost as hard as an airsoft gun.

Not worth it. It's around 5000 CNY in Taobao. Spending 5000CNY, you can buy the Challenger and Colonal 76 plus serveral pump action guns.
You can get a SKS for like $700 and use the spare $100 for ammunition. Though, you have to get a gun license first.
