Great containers btw you have taste,I've seen nice plants in ugly containers, you have an amazing collection as well.GORGEOUS!!!!! IMAGINE What God has for us in the new earth we'll see plants and animals never before seen 😊😍🤗God bless you 🤗
Omgeeeee, love your garden, it's amazing, nice to find someone from Southern CA, I love in Downey, CA, really enjoyed your video.... Your koi are beautiful... Thanks for sharing , very very nice.
You're so lucky that you can have them outside. I have keep mine inside at night and in the winter. In the summer I leave them outside and bring them in at night! :D
omg I am green with envy!.....I have a very small collection of succulent containers....I need to get some more pots and hit up some plant sales......i would love to spend time on your patio and maybe take a few cuttings!..lol
You have an awesome collection. I grow hardy succulents in this area in Ohio. I try to stay aware from the tender ones you can grow, but when I can't resist, that's what my basement garden is for! Running out of room! BTW, great presentation.
You might want to check out Laura Eubanks design for serenity videos because she uses the rain gutter to put baby succulents to root and it looks amazing!
So this is awesome as I am not into the succulents but you have so many pretty colored ones!! You just the see the basic ones here in AZ. Love your collection!!
I have to say, of all the succulent videos on here, this one is by far, my favorite! Your collection is amazing! Do you use fertilizers on them? I would love to see an update on your garden! thanks!
This is fantastic, I am so jealous! I live in MO so all had to come inside recently except for my semps and jovibarba's! It's so much more time consuming and tough to take care of all of them inside. I would be in heaven in your yard!
My Random Favorite Things We can only keep the succulent outside for the summer because it rains a lot the other months. Hens and Chicks will survives outside all year round and I have them planted right in the grounds. Also, the hardy sedums do well. However, my favorite echeverias have to be taken inside for the winter. Im going to ask my husband to build me some growing florescent lights to overwinter my succulents when the days are short and sunlight is scarce.
Wow, I really enjoyed this video. I stumbled upon your channel while watching wax videos and was delighted to see this! I too love succulents ... You put my collection to shame!
Thank you for the kind words, succulents are one of my other obsessions…I love their shapes and colors! It is kind of weird looking at the beginning of this video since they have all exploded in size since I filmed it! What is your favorite type? I love echevarias the best…showy, I know!
The Echeveria with the bumps in the middle is called Echeveria Raindrops! It's a super unique plant, I haven't seen it sold anywhere really (though I am in the northeast). Beautiful collection :)
Great video. I'm into succulents and air-like plants namely orchids. I'm really big on my orchids. I have a "wish list" for my year and on it in addition to getting more orchids I want to get a decent sized coral cactus - something with full on color.
Oh, I love the look of air plants, but I have not pulled the trigger to get one yet. Orchids are so so pretty, but I am not sure if I am up to that task yet! I need plants that are hard to kill!
The regular aloe Vera will do best in the shade, I'm from Australia and iv tried placing it where I keep my other succulents and they go this brown colour. I have a big pot full of regular aloe vera sitting under a shady tree and they are bright green and healthy looking. So now that's where they live. Also beautiful collection :)
Oh I did not know that, thank you! I still have that aloe and it is better...but is not thriving. I may have to replant it and see. Thanks for the tip!
NatSoSassy yay for succulents, LOL! I just repotted a bunch of mine yesterday and got pricked by the agaves a few times, i was cursing up a storm in the backyard!
u mention clipping off the babies... on the rosettes, u can clip below stem, leave enough to tuck it into dirt (usually if u can hold the stem, it's long enough). i clip then spray a peroxide/water mix to disinfect, let dry off for 2-3 days then plant. also u can lean the individual leaves of the rosettes do peroxide spray & dry & leave alone for a few weeks & they will start to grow new rosettes. i simply mist them once a day early morning lightly with water.
Your succulents are beautiful! But I just wanted to add, that I've read/heard from professionals (I'm thinking of that container that you said your working on but don't have the eye for design) that planting in odd numbers is more pleasing to the eye...just throwing that out there as an idea, but either way it looks great!! Thanks for sharing your succulents, from one succulent addict to another!!
Carmen Stone I heard that too from videos and the books by Debra Lee Baldwin too! Weird to think that…but I guess odds are more pleasing! I just got some new succulents that I need to plant next weekend…the collection keeps growing!
I love your succulent garden!! I just started mine today and have fallen in love with them. I ordered a few more online. I also live in southern California. I am just curious how to know if you are over watering plants etc. I have a veggie garden and I water that everyday. I know that that won't be the same for my succulents.
You have such an awesome collection of succulents, I have only 2 and a baby pea but it's in a small terrarium and in the summer ( I live in Wisconsin so it's to cold for them right no but ) I'm going to start growing some outside in pots so in the winter I can take them inside by my window where my little ones are right now and keep those in there! You must have spent a lot of money on succulents! Also what stores/ online shops did you buy these from?
Just ran into your channel and I love your garden and plants ...... Could I have some cuttings? I’m starting my own little collection in my small patio ....I live in north California
nice collection. i'm a newbie for succulents, I have just one small collection and they're still tiny compared to yours. wish I have this beautiful corner like you. I love succulents, I began collecting them for about 6 months. just 1 question: how often do you water them? and how do you do that, with lot of water a time? thank u. good work ;)
Where did you get your spiral aloe? I have looked and looked and only can find seeds. I never buy the succulent seeds as I don't trust most of the sellers. I want a plant!
Very beautiful. Can you please share how to prepare the soil, insecticide and fertilizer or if you buy them which brands do you use and how often. Please answer and Thank you.
this is a great video, I'm starting my collection too! I'd love to see how some are doing now, can you make another video? (especially the beheaded ruffled one, did you ever get the babies off it?) anyway, we are kinda close to, i work in carpinteria :)
take the normal aloe out of direct sunlight, re-pot and put inside and it will be much healthier i had the same thing with my aloe, and that aloe can heal scabs and cuts :)
I think the koy would like being under and among lilly pads----Hidden in dark places. Nice video about sedums, et. al.....But that Koy pond could be improved. Enlarged and landscaped with lilies etc.

Very nice video and your energy is really exciting. Great garden (Firesticks) Oh!

I need to live with you!!!!! 😍😍😍😍 beautiful
I loooooove succulents! I live in Washington and its very wet here in the fall and winter so I have to grow most of them inside.
I have been wondering how they do in the other climates in the US! It sounds like you have to give them a lot of TLC, but I bet it is worth it!

NatSoSassy yay for succulents, LOL! I just repotted a bunch of mine yesterday and got pricked by the agaves a few times, i was cursing up a storm in the backyard!
My Random Favorite Things Oh no haha! Well if you're up for it make an updated video :)

great video! any ideas on where to purchase starter succulents on a budget? love the ruffled echeverias-- they're gorgeous!
Love your big pots were did you find them that sticks on fire would look great in my greenhouse
With aloe, I've learned that you might have to put them inside next to a bright window. don't know why, it just is😁🌵🌱
Just ran into your channel and I love your garden and plants ...... Could I have some cuttings? I’m starting my own little collection in my small patio ....I live in north California
Where do you buy your ceramic pots??? They are beautiful!
nice collection. i'm a newbie for succulents, I have just one small collection and they're still tiny compared to yours. wish I have this beautiful corner like you. I love succulents, I began collecting them for about 6 months. just 1 question: how often do you water them? and how do you do that, with lot of water a time? thank u. good work ;)

That was very interesting. When I read the title "My Succulent Container Garden" I thought it was food related!! Shows my ignorance.
LOL, I did not think about that! Food…oh, now I am hungry!
Very beautiful. Can you please share how to prepare the soil, insecticide and fertilizer or if you buy them which brands do you use and how often. Please answer and Thank you.

Where do you find the money to buy all of these beautiful plants??
💚💚💚
Lindas 😍😍
the echeveria with drops on the leaves is called echeveria "raindrops" :)
How about you take your spiral aloe in doors? It'll keep them from getting to roots too hot.
Where did you get the red rectangular planter from? Exactly what iam looking for. Thanks!
Diem Nghe I got it at a local nursery here called Green Thumb (I am in Ventura County). I hope that helps!
Do you move them in during the winter/cold?
Should succulents be in direct sun or shade? I'm in Tucson Arizona and it gets pretty hot so I wasn't sure...
I think the koy would like being under and among lilly pads----Hidden in dark places.
Nice video about sedums, et. al.....But that Koy pond could be improved. Enlarged and landscaped with lilies etc.
