I genuinely like Pete Davidson. I feel like he would be an amazing friend. And I recently read how he describes his dating self and I'm a lesbian but I legit have a crush on him now
Hit me up, I'm just pete except I'm not famous, I'm poor, I have no tattoos, I'm short, and I don't smoke weed because I can't afford weed. I'm not pete davidson I'm just lonely
@Danny Lrq Thank you for being someone who notices that shit. The reason why I said it was no better, was because you probably shouldn't be doing it during an asthma attack. You should probably wait until after his attack is over because when you're breathing in and out, sometimes I can have an effect on the attack. Not the weed or The Vaping, just breathing like that in general. At least thats what ive seen
Esteban B ... one was only a few years ago, one was almost 2 decades ago. Since that’s the biggest comparison that’s the only one people are allowed to make?
@5,ooo LightYears Away it's a part of his stand-up. What else should we talk about? It's not like he's hiding it. He can dry his tears with hundred dollar bills.
It's the reason he's been in therapy since he was 6 years old 😭. The events of 9/11 had a tremendous impact on the lives of every American who went through it for a myriad of reasons but it changed a fundamental part of who we were prior to that morning because as the second plane hit the World Trade Center we all knew it was an attack, on American soil, and for the first time ever, we realized we weren't untouchable even at home. The reality that the United States were infiltrated by an enemy who killed thousands of us before most of us had even finished our morning coffee. I'm like most Americans who didn't personally lose anyone in those attacks that morning but was still deeply scarred by those events. Pete and his mom, unfortunately, like many other children and families in New York, were not only affected by the fear born of watching fellow citizens suffer and die that fateful morning, but also had to somehow learn to become survivors of enormous loss. For anyone who wasn't born yet or was too young to remember anything from that time, it was literally the only thing on TV for basically months. You couldn't escape it, the media broadcast the video of the 2nd plane hitting the building almost on a loop. FootAge from inside the towers became available from recovering devices from inside the towers and body cams from the first responders, firemen and police officers. Road crews had been working nearby making videos for training and educational purposes of the work they had been doing who were filming when the attacks began, and the absolute worst footage that got aired over and over again was of the towers as fires raged inside where people had become trapped though they were still alive but terrified and as the temperatures of the fires grew more extreme by the minute, we all watched in horror as numerous people stood in the large open spaces of the towers where the planes had actually hit leaving large sections of the buildings with no exterior walls so people were hanging out of those holes just to get relief from the smoke and heat and when they couldn't stand the pain anymore or couldn't bear knowing they weren't being rescued in time and were going to burn to death, we all saw them begin to jump out of those buildings, choosing to kill themselves just to avoid the awful fates that awaited anyone who remained inside. So the poor families who had a loved one who died that day were continuously exposed to footage of their deaths and interviews with people describing the conditions inside after the attacks, giving graphic detailed accounts and for the families like Pete and his mom this certainly added more trauma to their experience. I am honestly surprised Pete or other kids having lost a parent that day doesn't have more severe mental and emotional problems rendering them unable to function normally or at the least I'd expect those people to have very limited knowledge of how to display appropriate emotional responses. I am a huge fan of Pete and I admire him so much for the recent steps he taking to finally confront the horrible things he's tried to forget about that day and the months after it. He's ready to accept the loss and mourn for his dad the right way and I think he realizes that by not giving himself the permission to do it all those years ago, has directly contributed to his descent into worsening depression as he got older and sees how great his life is despite those setbacks and knows if he does the same amount of work on his mental health as he did in launching his career that he'd have more than he ever imagined and that his dad wouldn't want him to deprive himself of his full potential just because he's scared of letting go. I think Pete has a lifetime of success ahead of him and I wish him sincere best wishes in all he does.
Does losing your dad to a national tragedy, being mentally unstable to the point of being suicidal, using that pain to do stand-up, and being a cast member on a long-running sketch show count?
How can you not love Pete ? not only does He have a great sense of humor but you can literally tell he is a Genuinely good person... not to mention he’s attractive 🥰

That was total gold. Also this skit is so funny, you can see everyone dying trying to bold a straight face.

His voice and delivery is on point for a comedian

Seeing Pete in firefighter gear makes me so happy. I know his father would be so proud of what he’s accomplished
He actually said in one of his sketches that he likes going around in NYC in his father's gear smoking weed ... I just think it's a coping mechanism
Pete: oh I see you have a dad , what’s that like ? *laughs*

I feel bad for him, He really wants his dad, But he plays it off and pokes fun, but we all know that hurts.
Yeah, he constantly talks about it.
