Cecily Strong was like an A-list actress/singer who happened to be amazing at sketch comedy writing and performing. SO impressive no matter what she was asked to do, which seemed like EVERYTHING.
Most criminally underrated/under-appreciated cast member ever- bar none.
I've had a crush on her since the first time she appeared on SNL

Her British accents were - and still are - uniformly terrible, but aside from that, I love everything she does. 🩵

I absolutely understand people who say snl used to be better every season. We just remember the best parts, but damn those parts are good
I had a time I thought the oldies were goodies, but then I missed so many of the new blood! Tina, Seth, Phil, Kate, AIDY!! and Kristen... A small sample, but I miss you all! Everyone was amazing. SNL always struck gold. Some have had their battles, but we love them. We will celebrate their talent.

What is your understanding of how they prepare for this show? That was a scripted moment with a special table built specifically to collapse immediately on impact so he wouldn’t hurt himself. You can see it with how quickly it fell apart. Everyone in that skit knew well ahead of time that it would happen, they’re just acting surprised…

@@maddieb.4282 it’s not outside of industry wheelhouse that he could’ve talked to the set designer and director and said “I have an idea” and they said “lemme ask Lorne, Lorne said yes” and he said “cool don’t tell anyone else”. It happens.
