This video has helped me so much to improve faster than ever recently! Sometimes you just need to come across the right guidance for your current level to make leaps and bounds. Awesome work dude keep em coming 🙃
From Singapore too! This is useful. This is the mistake I have been making. Tend to think too much, like keeping the cue straight and the cueball positioning rather on the shot itself
So glad I found you channel, great tips and help! (Bangor, Northern Ireland 🤩) EDIT: just a question.... I have an old Lewis & Wilson cue which I love, but I need an 8.5mm tip for it. Do you know of anywhere that sells smaller tips than 9mm, or do I have to do what I always do and carve it down every time?
There is a range of places that sell these tips. Depending on which brand you use. A basic Google search will bring up an array of options for you. Good luck at the tables 👍
Another great video mate. Thanks for all your help, you have genuinely improved my game more than any instructional video from a pro and even an hour long "masterclass" I got once from a rather drunk Jimmy White.
You're actually impressively close to that record, are you not tempted to try to shave off a few seconds from your time and go for it? If anyone can figure out the exact optimum shots to play for it, it's you! And then if you memorise those shots then presumably you could get to a point where you wouldn't need to waste time aiming because you can rely on muscle memory. It looked like the biggest problem was waiting for the ball to stop rolling, that cost too many seconds xD
Mate I love your videos so much. You're such a chill guy! Thanks for the effort you put into your videos. I am not even a snooker player, I pool, but every time I watch your videos I am so tempted to pick up snooker and get into this beautiful game!
Hey love your videos man. I'm a doctor working at Islamabad, Pakistan. All of the boys in my group watch your videos and play 2-3 frames to improve after night shifts. Can we get a pin too? :p
0:22 What music is this? It's the same as Disguised Toast's outro song and I've been asking around and can't get an answer! Sounds like it's from Jackbox, can anyone help?
Ok so that last straight red to the corner. You applied (unwanted) right hand side which, if that initially pushes the cue ball off to the left, how come the red misses the pocket to the left and not the right. Id have thought the red would have been hit slightly on the left and therefore sending the red to the right of the bag and not the left as yours does? What am i missing here pls? Thanks.
I always assumed the top professional players naturally cued straight, but I was surprised to learn a couple of years ago Judd Trump doesn't and has to cue off center as a way of correcting the unwanted side he puts on shots.
judd's cueing is wild.. would be neat to see a video where you geek out over all the players' cueing actually (i forget if this has been done) mark allen is pretty distinct with the short action, luca brecel is almost the opposite..
Like a golf technique, there are so many attributes that succeed in sweet shots. You know more than me but I think, silly as it may seem, breathing properly all the way through the shot and break, may make for a longer or shorter time at the table. If you hold your breath on the back swing, or before following through, can screw up or go askew with your current. Just my humble opinion. Thanks for the break from life👍
Please remember me as well, I am from Lalitpur, Nepal and have enjoyed your videos thoroughly. Has really helped me improve my game. I am currently thinking about getting my first cue.
Hi ,great vids ,we all watch at the little club I play ! Out of interest do you still use cuesoul tips? I bought a couple after watching your vid and forgot about them but having just re finished my cue during lockdown found them and stuck one on so looking forward to trying it out! thanks from Paul in Bournemouth
Nice tutorial , love from Pakistan , Wanna know that how to make the precise aim over the red and color balls, in some situations I do miss a lot of easy pots , what are the solutions to improve them.
@ 2:30 you're aiming to the right if the cushion but the line in the screen is on the left, then the second shot is totally different. What was it supposed to be like?
I know the feeling, especially the speed at the end of video. Often if I’m faced with a difficult shot, I only half commit to it possibly to not slow down the game and overuse my energy. Result is it’s mostly luck if they turn out right. Probably if I committed fully the games would progress faster anyway due to a higher standard of play.
Great video. I have the tendency to stress myself out with all the things I'm trying to remember.
