When I listen to Ingrid's playing, I can't understand why I didn't discover this incredibly sensitive pianist much earlier. I love the breath in her natural phrasing, her nuanced touch, and her unsentimental approach to Chopin's Nocturnes. A cycle I had long considered overplayed comes to life anew. Thank you, Ingrid! By the way, what a fantastic instrument! It must be a D from the 1920s or something similar. Clearly with a new frame, but probably still the original soundboard. What a sound! Sonorous bass, velvety highs, and a clearly defined treble with endless nuances. Wonderful!
One of the greatest chopin intrepeters I've ever heard..I was at her concert in vancouver years ago at the Orpheum theatre...took our breath away...she signed a copy of her cd..a very memorable evening indeed!
As someone who has been learning this piece for like 4 months (on and off) and have listened to countless covers of this piece (as it’s my personal favorite from Chopin), from 2:54-3:25 is by far the best interpretation I’ve ever heard. I’m at that part right now and being able to play with the amount of power she puts into the piece is extremely difficult. Can’t wait till I’ve got it down! I am SO close to the end I can almost taste it!

This piano is Seraphina! Our oldest in our hall from 1897! A wonderful instrument amplified in the hands of Ingrid!
Breathtaking! Been listening to her on Spotify and I found this video.❤😊
We have Ingrid performing all 16 Nocturnes! ua-cam.com/play/PLK0rK0aUNaU-axrqZkCQ1oVi7GubNI_Ww.html&si=d7LCH7AFZ3ydSU3B
I’m impressed by the life that this pianist brings to this nocturne. It’s a masterclass in tempo rubato! ❤️❤️
