Bravissimo, chere Maestri Ingrid! You again sent my spirits to the happiest contemplative alternate universe!. All the best to you always. From Joseph Liu, Sarasota, Florida, USA
I was so happy to be able to listen to my favorite Haydn sonata and Schumann again, Thank you very much to Ingrid Fliter, your performance was the best.
I like the way she leads straight from the Scarlatti to the Schumann. Perfect mood setter / palate cleanser for the great etudes. Very sensitively played, whilst ending with the most beautiful posthumous etude is somewhat touching, the finale I think should be the finale. It’s always difficult adding the posthumous etudes, knowing where to put them etc..
I have listened the same program in Milan, with great pleasure. Here, she is simply incredible! Unreacheable! She studied also with Elizabeth Westerkamp, a pupil of the great Mtro Vincenzo Scaramuzza.
and this one Nocturne is just an appetizer, listen to her recording of all his nocturnes. i would say the next landmark after Rubinstein's interpretation
Sublime music, charming pianist. (The upper range of the instrument seems to be ready to be tuned, unless the problem is in my ears.) Luscious and profound recital!
i always ask myself where these sparks of amateur insight in the 'borders' of a professional pianist come from.... there is so much fantasy around... may these 'sages' conceive of a better performance? - in the NL we call it 'the best captains stand at the quai'...
I often ask myself why do strangers on the internet think they can comment about someone they've never met. I play these Etudes so I have my own ideas about them. I'm not a critic sipping sherry and eating popcorn but can't play a lick! Lol Ps I'm just saying what vladi wanted to say but in a more direct way!
Wonderful program AND performance! The electronic music sheet is interesting... I wonder if Ms Fliter turns the pages herself, or someone from backstage?
@@mackiceicukice Agreed. "La critique est aisée, mais l'art est difficile." If this allows the artist to purvey a more expansive repertoire, to the great benefit of an appreciative audience, then why not. Organ recitalists and Baroque harpsichordists almost always play with notes. It would seem to me that the gift of being able to interpret with feeling and sensitivity is of much greater value than the mechanical trick of playing without the score. The orchestral musicians are certainly not expected to do this for a forty minute concerto, though most of them are playing a single melody line...
@@mattmackensen7554 it is unusual though for a solo piano recital, and I've seen her on many occasions play without a score. I wonder why she did this time?

Ingrid Fliter plays with so much sensitivity. What a mesmerizing, enthralling performance. I loved every minute of it.
It’s been a year and I keep coming and watch this tremendous performance over and over. It has become my landmark both for Haydn and Schumann.
This is one of the best performances of the symphonic etudes that I've ever heard. I hope she records them soon.
I love the fact that she ends the Etudes with Posthumous Variation V. It has the quality of an epilogue.

There are no words to describe the beauty of this concert. Thank you, maestra Ingrid, from the bottom of my heart.
A joy to listen to you this far away in Buenos Aires. Te extraño tanto!! An amazing program.
Love her. I studied at Juilliard with Josef Raieff and Ania Dorfmann
It is always such a pleasure to listen to Ingrid. Etude X gave me goose bumps!
This recital has disappeared from the Wigmore hall site, so I'm glad you're back.
Me too - a fabulous recital by a fabulous artist
I love this woman

Beautifull programm, beautifully played. So unique way to play this music, really interesting.

Chopin op72.no.2 is exceptional ❤❤❤❤
Looking at the music on the IPad, Ingrid has very good eyes, or very good contacts! :)
Wonderful. No need to memorize anything anymore. With the music pianists have a connection with the composer .
quelle aisance !
👏👏👏👏bravooo! 🔝🌹🔝🌹
A fascinating and original way to complete the set of Etudes.
Indeed..stroke of genius.Epilogue.
Wonderful program AND performance! The electronic music sheet is interesting... I wonder if Ms Fliter turns the pages herself, or someone from backstage?
I was wondering the same - could anyone enlighten us?
She is able to turn pages with her left foot on a freestanding pedal that connects to her iPad through Bluetooth.
Never heard of her before, so a nice surprise! Like her colorful play. Although I think she should also play some works without the score.
Concerning playing without the score, are you a pianist? Probably not. Easy to criticize.
@@mattmackensen7554 yes, I'm a pianist.
Makes absolutely no difference.

Thanks for the constant broadcasts, thanks for the good music
Using the music allows us more connection with the composer. No longer a stigma. Memorizing means nothing anymore
Fantastica . Grazie
🇦🇷♥️
Playing from a score I see...
