Englewood, Colorado - History & Information - #22/100

The Colorado Gold Rush began in Englewood on the banks of the South Platte River. Though most prospectors left when the gold exhausted, a handful remained to homestead the fertile land. These folks and their families slowly built the area up, turning farmland into the towns we know today. Englewood has since been absorbed into the bustling Denver Metro Area, but still manages to maintain its own identity.
Ski Lodge consists me and the rest of my family as we explore the great State of Colorado and more. Initially created to get everyone out of the house, it has turned into a vast collection of history, photography and general information. We are most active at skilodgecolorado
