Very nice van, simple and practical I really like it. I’m looking to buy a Caddy Maxi and convert it to meet my needs.
    Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺 👋🏻👋🏻

Thank you very much. Nice hearing from you in Australia. :-) That sounds great! It´s a very practical sized van. I wish you good luck with the conversion, and safe travels. You have a really beautiful country to explore! :-)

Eystein Askevold Hei!

It' me again. 😀 I hope you're doing fine and the weather in Norway isn't too horrorble. It was cold here in Germany the last few days but the sun was shining temporarely so I cannot complain. I'm currently planning our Norway vacation next year in June. Unfortunately we will just have two weeks for travelling so we can't go too far north. I'm thinking of visting some places, driving around for a week or so and finally spend some days fjordfishing in More og Romsdal. Where would you go? Is hardangervidda and rondane too early in the season? What about prekestolen? Arrival and departure will be Oslo. Looking forward to your advise and of course to your next video. Best regards Harry

      Hi Harry! :-)
Sorry for my late respond. I´ve been away for two weeks now.
Nice to hear that you´ve started planing your Norway trip.
You´re probably aware that Norway is pretty expensive. But a great thing about Norway is that you can wild camp in all of the national parks that you pass along the way. Either by picthing a tent or camping in a van. That way you save a lot of money. The national tourist-roads have especially nice camp-sites (free of course). In the national parks you can camp in the some spot for days. No problem. But we also have a law here in Norway that say you can camp overnight anywhere you want to as long as it´s about 500m (maybe less) from someones house. But only for one night! Nice to know if you´ve been driving all day and it´s getting dark and you just need a place to camp overnight.
I don´t know what you have planned so far, but I would definitely recommend retning an empy van and throw in a couple of inflatable matresses. Tent is great, but if you´re doing a lot of driving and don´t have that much time in each place, you really save a lot of time by not having to pack in and out of the car all the time. Not to mention drying the tent, in case of rain. ;-) Anyway, just a tip!
Usually June isn´t too early for Rondane or Hardangervidda.
If you want to head north to Rondane, then Preikestolen would be in the opposite direction. So if you´re not planing to visit mostly the south-west country of Norway (where I live :-) then it will be a pretty long detour.
I´ll write down a suggestion of a route. And maybe you can check it out on the map?
-Drive the shortest way from Oslo to Lillehammer (via Gjøvik)
-Continiue by driving Road E6 through Gudbrandsdalen until you get to Road 27. That´s a national tourist-road, and it goes through Rondane National Park. A beautiful drive!
-Continiue until you get to Dovrefjell National Park. Also very beautiful.
-Then you pick Road E6 to Dombås and then follow Road E136 through Romsdalen (it´s SO beautiful in nice weather) to Åndalsnes.
-Continiue on Road 63 (a national tourist-road) which goes through Trollstigen and Geiranger. Lot of steep pointy mountains and fjords.
-Continiue on Road 15 to Lom
-Then explore Sognefjellet by driving a national torturist-road called Road 55 until you get to Sogndalsfjøra.
-You take the ferry over to Lærdalsøyri and continiue by driving Road E16 until you get to Voss.
Continiue by driving Road 13 til you get to Eidfjord.
-Then you can chose Road 7 (also a natinal tourist-road) over Hardangervidda National Park. On the way up to Hardangervidda you will also pass Vøringsfossen. Very impressive.
-Continiue driving Road 7 to Gol, down Hallingdalen and back to Oslo
You can check it out on Google Maps and see what you think. Just a suggestion. If you have two weeks here, I think you will have enough time. But of course it depends on how much time you want to spend on each place. And if you want to explore more by foot.
Let me know if you have any questions. Would be glad to help you out.
Of course when it comes to the weather here in Norway, you can never be sure. :-D. -Håkon

Kaufi Hey Friluftslivets! You really stuck you neck out to help this guy planing his trip to Norway. And you didn´t even get a thank you! I think that´s pretty rude. You´re a really nice guy Friluftslivet. Cheers from Finland! :) Love your videos.

Takk for hyggelig tilbakemelding. Sjekk gjerne ut musikk-kanalen min for mer. ua-cam.com/video/WdsTW4VbxMY/v-deo.html. - Håkon
