Not on this occasion but if you check out our trip to Norway last year we did take a dip, and maybe just maybe it contributed to our PTSD 😂 cold is an understatement haha. Our pleasure pal, take care and all the best in the new year - BR
Thank you for bringing us along on you hike. Dovrefjell is a beautifull area witch I have not hiked in since the - 80's. I see the rocks where still there. May I recomend either Jotunheimen for its peaks or Hardangervidda for its wast open plains. Anyway I am glad you guys enjoy my country, you are mostly welcome.
Thanks Anders, it was a pleasure to be back in Norway, we absolutely love it there and look forward to visiting again! Jotunheimen looks immense and it’s definitely on our list. Not familiar with Harddangervidda, I’ll be sure to check it out. Thanks for the recommendations 👍
Some achievement lads. Unbelievable videos, I loved them both. It’s always good to see the honesty in it with the low points but overall a cracking watch 👏 👏 👍
Cheers mate and thanks for the feedback, it’s really appreciated! Made up to hear you enjoyed it 🙌 certainly have those low moments on a multi day, just can’t be helped and as you say, have to keep it real. All the best - BR
Loved this video. Interesting narrative with great factual content without losing the 'in the moment' feel of the journey. One of my favourite BR videos so far in terms of the film structure and story.
Cheers Col, thanks for watching as always mate made up you enjoyed it! A lot of time went into crafting it so it’s great getting feedback like this and knowing it’s payed off. 👍 Atb
I’ve been looking forward to part 2 all week. Superb video again guys. Really good use of music, narration and epic scenery. Professionally done as always Sam. I bought the Real Turmat Pulled Pork and the Thai Red curry after part 1. Expensive but look forward to the Pulled Pork. Less so, the Thai Red after your Part 2 score of 5. Onwards and upwards.
Thanks Andy, glad you enjoyed both parts mate, massively appreciate the kind words and feedback 👍 Honestly that pulled pork is a belter for a dehydrated, like you said they’re not the cheapest but seem great quality, hope you enjoy it. Probably won’t be picking up the Thai red again though! 😂 Atb.
Wow. That was a high quality two part video series. One of the very best wild camping adventure videos I've ever seen on YT. What month was that? Does Norway suffer from the midge like Scotland? I've never multi-day walked in Scandinavia but I was due to do the 2020 edition of the Fjallraven Classic until a certain virus reared its ugly head!! Those huts looked very tasty too - luxury bothies! Anyway, superb series. Respect and thanks for sharing! Regards, Wadi.
Thanks Wadi, we really appreciate the kind words, very happy to hear you enjoyed the vids! This was in early august, never really had issues with midges in Norway to be honest, it was only the last night really when we were lower in elevation that there was a few about, and that was our experience on last years trip aswel so from what I can tell it doesn’t seem to be anywhere near the level of Scotland thankfully! That’s a shame about the fjallraven classic! Hope you manage to get another booked, look like cracking trips. Thanks again and all the best, BR. 👍
Thanks mate glad you enjoyed it! It’s the Rab Pulse hoody, I picked this up a couple years ago though and I’m pretty sure it’s been replaced with the Rab Force hoody now as I haven’t seen the pulse available for a while. Keith wears the force though on a few of our other recent vids if you want a better look at it. Atb 👍
Some fantastic skies too.
Had a bit of everything in the end of this trip but mostly clear with amazing sunsets 👌 all the best - BR
Amazing scenery! We're you never tempted to take a cool dip in the lakes?
Thanks for taking us on this adventure!
