Black Adam was a very fun and entertaining film, Blue Beetle was a solid job on an obscure ask. If you're capable from separating the actor from the character to enjoy f'n story and the other actors then you'd find that its actually a pretty good film.

I may be an idiot, but having seen some of these movies, the plots were just bad. The character motivations were terrible and the character motivations were barely there. Shazam's sequel, by the way, was not about marketing. It was awful because the script was - awful. Wonder Woman (first film) was predictable and functional. That's it. We had decent character development but not great. The final act was painful as it came out of nowhere. The sequel was just plain AWFUL. I couldn't get through it. Doesn't anyone care about writing anymore? Doesn't anyone know how to write a character that I care about? My humble opinion. Start with the story and characters. Make me care about the main character. Give the character internal motivation - not external. Go from there. Just my opinion. Please no flame wars.

My top 3 garbage DC movies are Bluebeetle3 Batman & Robin 2 Catwoman 1 and honorable mentions Flash.
Marvel is the only company that has had success with a cinematic universe. Maybe the exception of Episodes 4,5 and 6 of Star Wars when there was no term "cinematic universe" and then Disney promptly destroyed it. But DC has missed the mark nearly every time and now I think the superhero genre is fading. The best - Iron Man franchise and The Avengers. IMO
In og ending the Bruce who is not George Clooney is Offscreen stepping out of car and after Barry asks "who the **** is that ? ". The screen turns to black and also Supergirl and Keaton Batman are alive in the end, there were scenes with superman foreshadowing Man of Steel 2 and incredibly the stupid should-have been-deleted baby scene was supposed to be a Volcano eruption
This film could literally have been better if they used Keaton as Thomas Wayne Batman
and FREAKING REVERSE-FLASH instead of Dark Flash
dude is literal archenemy responsible for his mother 's death And even copied Barry 's face in comics
This is insult to Flashpoint Paradox
Dwen is the Hulk Hogan of Hollywood
I guess James Gunn statement have nothing to do with it , telling people all movies left in the schedule were pointless to watch because a reboot was coming, James Gunn comments change my decision to go to theaters and watch black Adam, Shazam 2, the flash and Aquaman, it was pointless to waste my money knowing stories were not going to continue, firing Henry cavill just to replace him with a look alike, I hope superman legacy flops, by the way the movies I mentioned I watched them on HBO Max/max which is included in my cable package.
Maybe The Critical Drinker and Nerdrotic could have saved these films since they have the power to make and break movies. I haven't forgotten Looper
Nah they’re trash.
DC was blessed with crappy actors and even crappier writers and directors. The only exception was Ben Affleck but he lost it after BvS and was just phoning it in afterwards.
Black Adam was as "comicbooky" as a comic book movie can get. Crazy powers, big special effect, superheroes doing superhero shit. I don't know how you can say you are a fan of superhero movies and not like it.
Agreed, I think people were overly critical, the movie had some peaks and valleys, but definitely not as bad as people pretend it was.
When Market have Too many Superheroes now become boring
I believe how this movies failed. Really bad movies. Really. Script, studio meddling and so on. Catwomen is not that bad. 5,6 grade. Batman and Robin also has good moments. I like it. Great list of movies
If DC truly cared, they'd lean into the Legion of Doom vs Justice League thing a la Christopher Nolan-esque sensibilities..
Failed to acknowledge The Suicide Squad (2021) which was a critical success but was r rated and was also released both theatrically and on streaming during the Covid era!
Dc just destroyed it’s animated universe with new trilogy
Personally I liked a lighthearted DCEU movie like Blue Beetles and Shazam series. Those and Peacemaker should stays
I think even a comic book fan would make better movies than what we got all they had to do was just follow the comics and stop trying to change how the DC comics was set up Warner brother's themselves should of known this would happen just hire the DCAU writers I just don't see how u would fail with some the most populated superheroes of all time
1:55 Gunn stated that Blue Beetle, Amanda Waller , Pacemaker and his gang are only DCEU characters to enter DCU as Pacemaker S1 is not canon to DCU and Blue Beetle is totally seperate from DCEU , director even made sure it can be part of any dc cinematic universe
Gunn is a lying hack
Cause they suck ...big time!!
Most of this information (financial breakpoints to become profitable) are total horsecrap!
What A Shame We Didn't Get A Solid Green Lanterns Movie Id Love To Have Seen All Of The Various Lanterns Corps A Universe In It's Own
Film viewing and enjoying is a subjective art. I thoroughly enjoyed Black Adam, Blue Beetle, and The Flash. Black Adam was a very fun and entertaining film, Blue Beetle was a solid job on an obscure ask. As far as The Flash goes I understand what Ezra Miller did to kill that film before it had it's first preview. If you're capable from separating the actor from the character to enjoy f'n story and the other actors then you'd find that its actually a pretty good film.
You forgot Amber Turd for Aquaman 2.
bc they were shite
Superhero fatigue isn't a thing.
DC bombs with wrong answers to two questions: what is the purpose of this story and how do these characters relate to me?
James Gunn first production, The Suicide Sqaud, was the biggest bomb and was not reconized here for some reason, lol
I liked Batman and Robin.
The Pebble is done! After trying to make money of the Maui Fires in Lahina for himself and Oprah. We dont even want him here!
Dwanye is a coconut! He doesnt act. He is the same person in every movie. And people got tired of it. 😂😂😂😂
The rock didn’t hurt anything the movie was gonna suck without him
Well trying to keep up with the Joneses will always be a hard task
Hey should have watched. Blue Beetle was very good.
black adam has a teen skateboarding sidekick ! huh ?
Why they failed...? Easy... have you ever watched any animated movies which last for 2 hours...? And why the movies could easily lasted for 2 hours...? Answer is: too much drama... less actions... especially that all the batman movies...
George Clooney gave a refund to some fans😂
I really loved the flash. Too bad.
The peoples chumpion when the world needed a hero he begged them for money while saving his own estate and doing nothing for them ya big hero
Cool Video
Era Miller failed Nicolas Cage failed and the easiest solution was - Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, and the twilight scutso who played the last bat 🦇what a dump movie 🍿 ever
It failed cuz the idiot James Gunn said the universe was rebooting before the universe ended. Enhances the 4 last movies. It would be more logical to reboot it after the last movie.
And another reason why Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom flopped is cause of the Amber Heard drama too, and she got blacklisted too!!!!
Yeah the girl who was in the movie for all of like 10 mins is why it flopped… imagine being that brain dead and delusional. Only losers didn’t go see the movie just cause of her. No that many people care about junkie depp
She's hardly in it.
Also, wasn't this just before Gunn took over, so people didn't see any point to seeing the film because of that.
Everytime i see a video on why these worst movies bombed or something i start to have seconds thoughts
Catwoman '04 wasn't bad. Halle Berry looked smokin' hot in the costume.
