I joined the boot camp right after I finished my breast cancer treatment and the structure has really helped me rebuild my life. I like so many things about the system, but what I like most is how it encourages you to be kind to yourself rather than berate yourself to achieve your goals.

I'm a breast cancer survivor of 5 years and also own a part time online business. My business basically went down the drain the minute I was diagnosed. Even though I am now in remission, I am just now starting to get back on track with my business. I've had lots of setbacks physically due to post cancer meds. I've been thinking about getting this system to help me manage my time better and maybe help me figure out what I need to do when I have those 'off' days....because those days really do happen. Just cause I'm in remission doesn't mean I'm still not going through things. I'm currently in a very rigorous training for my online business and it has me doing sooooo many tasks. It's a bit overwhelming. Guess I was thinking I could conquer anything since I conquered cancer. I'm thinking I can maybe use the HB90 system in tandem with this training I'm doing.

@@oliviasmith5823 So much of what you’ve written rings true for me. I’m so sorry that you’ve had to go through it. The post cancer meds suck. In an insidious low-key bullying kind of way. Sometimes I find myself in a cycle of hopeful, waiting for things to ‘get back to normal,’ and then devastated when it dawns on me it never will. Having a system to set goals and look to the future in a positive context has helped step out of that cycle. Be careful taking on more when you’re already feeling your plate is full. It is quite intense the first time you do the boot camp, so don’t forget to be kind to yourself! And that you can finish at your own pace. It’s not a silver bullet, but just as Cindy said, each time you go through it you gain more from it. Good luck with your training and everything else!❤️

I signed up for HB90 because of you talking about it at some point, and this will be my third quarter participating. :) It has tooootally revolutionized my ADHD mess of a work life, so much appreciation for telling me about it! It finally got me focused enough in one quarter to start my own channel, and restart my photography business after a 3 year break. It's also going to be a totally different world for me booking families from now on because I know EXACTLY how many I'm able to take on to not overbook myself and set myself up for failure. I owe you many thanks!

I'm really bad at adding in projects which I tend to do, so I'd love to hear more about how you evaluate if you've got the space for that project and how you work it into your quarterly plan 😊

I took the Q1 bootcamp last year for this year. I’d say I’ve been using it about 20% more each quarter. My #1 is that it’s based on numbers and the more honest you are with yourself the better it works. I’ll be at the kickoff - going to really dedicate myself to ending the year strong. And by strong I mean sticking to the system for the whole 90 days

I signed up a few days ago for this quarter. I’m looking forward to learning the system & seeing if/how it can help me at work (& home as they often bleed together)!

I started with HB90 last September, partly because of your recommendation of both the system and Sarra. I love how it starts big picture and then drills down to the tasks. I'm still a newbie with it but I'm getting better each go around.

This quarter will be my first time going through the bootcamp and I'm really looking forward to it.

I signed up for the bootcamp in March, but life happened hard, so I'm doing it this time!

I'd be really interested to see a video of how you combine Makselife and HB90 - they're two different systems right?

I have been eyeing the bootcamp since the beginning of the year and I hesitate every quarter, but these points are really helpful! I'm leaning towards joining, just need to sit on it a little bit before I take the plunge. Thank you!!

This is my second quarter actually going through the system, and I have never been so successful in a goal-planning system before. HB90 is so forgiving (or maybe that's just Sarra) and even though I have never completed all of my projects/tasks, I still feel successful at the end of the quarter because I did more than I would have without it, *and* I never feel bad about the things that I didn't accomplish (which is infinitely necessary for my mental health).
I can't recommend this system enough and agree that doing the bootcamp makes all the difference!

I have been following Sarra for years and I always wanted to join HB90 but thought I wouldn't have the time to do it, but if we can go at out own pace that could work

I took the course in Q3 but got stuck in filling it out. I have no idea how to project plan in a non-overwhelming, so I just dont start kind of way. I'm hoping this system helps, but I still got stuck on the planning/breaking down part. I'm going to go back through it in Q4 and hopefully get it together. I just officially started my own art business, but I need to get a system down so I can actually sale some stuff and attend some local markets.

Can't do it this quarter, but I plan to sign up on December. I have bought the planner in the past but I think I would benefit from the regular reminder/accountability and the community after as well.

This quarter, I'm going to consciously integrate the fact that my pain level is determined by how long it's been since i have the miracle trigger point and nerve block injections, which in turn effects my energy level and ability to focus.

I’m just bummed that (in looking into a new planner system for 2024) I’ve already missed the boat for the bootcamp that apparently started already. One of these days I may try it, but the limited open enrollment is indefinitely challenging for my ADHD brain.

  • @Worldtinkerer

Some day I will probably try HB90, too (even though I don't plan according to the fiscal quarters and I'd have to figure out how to make it work with the bootcamp anyway). I am very curious about what it could do for my ability to estimate the time I have and the time I need for projects. But it's a little pricier than I can manage right now, maybe next year!

It sounds really interesting every time you talk about it. But I feel like I don't understand how it works exactly. Is there a video you would recommend to get a good overview of the system?

Hi Cindy, I'm thinking of trying the HB90 boot camp. I'm just not sure it relates to my business. I have an accounting firm so I don't have a lot of projects per say just overall business goals and I definitely need help with time management. What are your thoughts?
