    This was so helpful! I was really wanting to see how someone that is not an author to do the time blocking and filling out the forms for the HB90. I am definitely making a note of this in my system to refer to for the next time I go through that system.

    It's a little confusing. But I will see your video again lol. I'm desperate looking for a system for my goals, to do list etc... thank you for sharing this.

    This is fascinating! The HB90 system is a lot to explain and you did it very well. Thank you!

    Your suggestion of the Google calendar organizing everything and mapping out the recurring tasks sounds like something I should definitely consider. I really enjoyed this video!

    Thank you for taking the time to make this comprehensive video. Got me thinking about some things as I continue to tweak things in my own planning journey.

    This video, which left my brain swirling with so many ideas, finally convinced me to sign up for the HB90 Bootcamp after being on the fence ALL YEAR. I'm really looking forward to the Bootcamp and planning my side project goals more formally.
    I, also, REALLY resonated with your sentiments of "This may be repetitive, but it works for me." I talk myself out of a lot of small double-planning tasks because it's "redundant" -- but at the same, I really enjoy doing them! It's nice to hear some validation of "If it works, then it works." Thanks for such a great video!!

    So glad you’ve taken the course! I’ve been following this course for about 2 years now. It has truly been a game changer. I love how you separate out your middle “in progress” section on your kanban board into days of the week. That’s a great way to break down the tasks and plan out the week. Thanks for sharing!

    This is a great explanation of the HB90 system. I appreciate seeing it done by someone who is not a full time author. I'm trying to get a tutoring business started and I've been considering doing the bootcamp next week. Question--is the pomodoro calculating part in her bootcamp? Or is it something you added from your own system? I love how clear it made the time allocation seem.

    • @PlanwithLaken
      @PlanwithLaken  5 місяців тому

      Calculating it for the whole quarter is part of her program, the updates I make monthly & weekly are adjustments I made for myself!!

    I loved this video! I took so many ideas down, and may look into this course for planning for teaching, but that will have to be in the future.

    Thanks so much! I’m not clear on why this wouldn’t work as well for personal goals.

    • @PlanwithLaken
      @PlanwithLaken  2 роки тому +2

      Like I said, if your personal goals are very project based, I think it could work. I think for goals that are habit/routine based, this would be a bit much/hard to translate.

    Hi Laken, do you think HB90 is really just a good fit for business planning? I've been looking for better ways to manage my time etc and HB90 comes highly recommended, but I don't have a business or really a vision of "success" and I can't get a good impression whether it would work for me or not.

    I finally just got around to watching this and I love it. Thanks. How did you learn to use the Kanban board? Was it through HB90? I would love to learn how to use this. I think it's exactly what I need. Thanks again

    • @PlanwithLaken
      @PlanwithLaken  Рік тому +1

      Yes, the concept of a Kanban board came from another place so you could find other info for it elsewhere, but how I use it specifically came from the HB90 class!

    For someone who can't currently do the HB90 Course, how would you recommend someone start implementing this system? Like what steps should someone start with or are there only certain steps one should include to start with?

    • @PlanwithLaken
      @PlanwithLaken  2 роки тому

      Like I mentioned in the video, I think it's really tough to fully understand/get the most out of the system without the course, so it's really tough for me to answer this question!

    • @emleigh1793

      You would definitely get the most out of it if you did the course; however you could buy just the planner and then search through Sarra’s videos on her Heart Breathings channel. She gives a lot of information on how she intends for it to be used. That’s how I started and it worked well to ease into it, so to speak.

    How long did this planning system take to become a routine?

    • @PlanwithLaken

      Like I said, I started using the system in May with just the planner and took the course in September so this video shows only my second month doing it fully!

    Does anyone know the exact dot pen/marker she's using during the weekly, around 33:32 timestamp? I can see it says "clean color dot" and found the dot pens, but the other side has a chisel tip?! Genius! Trying to find... hehe thanks in advance!

    What I can't understand: I can estimate how many pomodoros my routines take. But how many pomodoros my projects take? Especially that far away?

    Hi Laken! I'm a veryyyy busy full time neuroscience student pursuing medical school and the only way I accomplish anything is through goal planning. Historically, I've used CWM PowerSheets but I'm looking to potentially move away from them. Do you think the HB90 system would work for school? I'd try to plan per semester so it doesn't totally line up with the traditional annual quarters but it's close.

    • @PlanwithLaken
      @PlanwithLaken  2 роки тому

      I think it could definitely work for school! You just would need to set your goals/updates on a different cadence for sure.
