I was literally thinking about that lol^^ Like seriously. I heard of people drawing gross art and I’m that’s one of the reasons I’m afraid of making my creations a big thing, because I hate gross stuff.
Shipping freaking sucks... I had a female friend as a boy and people shipped us so hard we literally don't talk to each other anymore. They don't notice how bad it is for the person they are shipping...
This same thing happened to me! The only difference is that we told the people shipping us to shut the hell up and then we ended up liking each other….pretty damn weird lol (not saying that shipping is good it annoyed the hell outta us)
same. as soon as people started shipping me with a guy I flipped out and made the shippers uncomfortable in return. tbh, I’m not really proud of how I handled that but being shipped definitely sucks.
That happened to me as well. Im afab and so is the friend i was shipped with. It makes me very uncomfortable tbh (not bc we are both afab but it makes me uncomfortable bc she was almost my best friend and now i cant talk to her with other ppl bc we are so close and we get shipped) Also im still a minor. Im under 15 and this happened to me (im not going to say my age)
It happened to me aswell, when i was shipped to canada it was real bad for me, then the shippers sent me somewhere else and I just kept losing friends like ratonio and ratalle
i feel bad for jaiden animations too i mean she has been through a lot and imagine how hard it must be for her to see these 'fanarts' and being a female animator is probably really tiring. why cant we all be decent people and love and support her content as her fans? she is an amazing and relatable person and she even inspires me to animate in the future
@@soontherewillbesnow if only those were more embraced in the modern day, i hate that I can't be around the opposite gender w/o feeling weird and vice versa
Don’t ship real life people. It’s way different when you’re saying that two fictional characters should be in a relationship, and believe me, that’s completely ok if you aren’t toxic about it. But actual humans who can see you’re art and feel weirded out by it, that’s completely wrong and inappropriate
I can't believe this is a discussion we need to have. It should be obvious to not ship real people yet so many completely overlook it. It kinda saddens me to be honest.
If they are okay with it, that's fine tho imo, as long as the fans don't take it too far and sexualize it like they did with Septiplier and now the new Septiplier, aka DNF (I don't watch dream but it's hard to avoid that shit now'a'days.) Some people are fine with it and even joke about it and encourage it, but even then it's gross to take it much past fluffy stuff. Also nice Luz icon
@@mangobaby_videos Yeah that's what I'm saying, that works with anyone Of course shipping incest/pedophilia/abusive relationships/fetishizing gay relationships and shit like that is not okay And if the person doesn't want their characters to be shipped either than it's not okay But aside from those exceptions, shipping fictional characters is okay
At this rate, friendships are freaking underrated nowadays. Everything has to be a ship or romantic and it really sucks honestly. We need to appreciate friendships more. And shipping real people is an obvious no no.
I think that's just how people on the internet act. If you were in real life and came across someone who started just shipping real people as romantic partners, you and everyone else around them would think that they're weird and are saying socially inappropriate things.
I'm an artist, and I'm not offended. I've never done any online work (Because I'm not yet ready to work, I'm not an adult legally) and I think it's ridiculous and horrible to do this. I really love watching both Jaiden and James, but it's never occurred to me that they have anything more than a good friendship. It's wrong to say otherwise without their consent.

Remember when Jacksepticeye got called a homophobe because he respectfully asked people to stop drawing “images” of him and Mark? Jesus Christ some people
I suppose that's kinda true. When someone's ugly, some people will bully them and some will tell them that they're "beautiful" or "perfect" or whatever. In my opinion, idc if you're pretty or not. As long as you're not a creepy bitch then I'm fine with it. Sometimes, we don't even care about you. We just compliment you because we pity you and want to make ourselves look better.
It’s so sad these kind of youtubers mostly get targeted. Like odd1sout, “you guys cannot see that we are real people behind the screens and it can be REALLY damaging to our personal life’s.” Yeah.. I hope jaiden is actually fine and good because I could not even cope with this. Jaiden is dope 😎👍
Side note: Jack and Mark were both in relationships with women when septiplier blew up. Young fans need to be taught boundaries as soon as possible. Edit for context: I'm speaking from my own experience when I first joined fandom culture aged 13; I was very invasive about boundaries because I didn't understand why they existed.
@@LyxiLynnn Except that is no way to set boundaries for fans. If fans are doing something you do not like you shoot it down and crush it saying "no never, shut up" you do not make it a rare gag. That is just encouragement for the creeps.
@@jollyroger195 they never really set those boundaries and that's the problem, but people have the habit of making jokes and encouraging things that they shouldn't " well they made the joke so why can't i?" That's not how it works. You don't know them and arnt they're friends
@@LyxiLynnn Okay but the majority of online fans are creepy freaks who do not care about that last bit. But like I said if it really bothered them so much that they stopped doing collabs then they shouldn't have kept bringing it up even as a joke between each other. James said it himself quote from him: "...to get the elephant out of the room, no, it's not Jaiden, and will never be Jaiden. and no it's not the elephant either"
‘I don’t want to call it weird’ No no, go ahead. I’ll call it something that fits better though. It’s fucked up. Shipping real people who aren’t in a relationship and/or are in a relationship with somebody else is fucked. I may call my best friend and her girlfriend’s relationship cute and ‘ship’ them but that’s because they’re ACTUALLY DATING EACH OTHER and I’m JOKING. They find it funny because it is funny. They’re dating each other so me ‘shipping’ them (which I don’t. They’re just cute together in general) has no effect. Most IRL shippers are ‘edgy’ teenagers with skewed morals who think yaoi/yuri, incest, pedophillia, rape and even more fucked up shit is fine because ‘they’re shipping the animated characters, not the real people’ even though the characters ARE the real people, just cartoony versions of them. (doing all that gross shit with fictional characters is bad enough) It’s just fetishism and romanticism of the worst shit possible and it’s so annoying when they get mad at people who ‘aren’t letting their ship sail’ when that ship is hurting that person’s psyche. Also side note, calling someone a homophobe because they don’t want you to ship them (a heterosexual) with their same sex friend (who is typically also heterosexual in these circumstances) is fucking ridiculous. Cosplaying UA-camrs is also weird. So many cosplayers are still getting dozens of requests to cosplay from (specifically) MCYT even though they’ve refused already. (I’ve also noticed that parents tend to do a similar thing where they’re essentially shipping their child (usually an infant or toddler) with their friend’s child. So, maybe that’s why people think it’s okay.)
Total agree but for some reasons when I read that I immediately went: “but i ship objects” ...somehow (Btw please don’t take this out of context it’s an entire fandom called the osc)
The fact that James had to TELL his fans that he isn't dating Jaiden is kinda sad. Shipping real people is super inconsiderate unless they're a real couple and if you can't see why then maybe you shouldn't be on the internet yet. Note: I'm not saying its bothering me personally, this video is relevant to the subject of shipping real people so I put in my person two cents about the subject. It is still really inconsiderate and saying "just ignore it" doesn't do anything either, so stop replying with it.
@@johnadler6987 I know they wont stop doing it, and attacking them over it isn't gonna stop them. It's still a shitty thing to do though and it's relevant here, so I'm gonna mention it.
I've said this before but there's a huge difference between saying "these two would make a great couple" and drawing or writing nsfw of actual breathing people and obsessing over them
I think those "artists" need to sit down and think about back in middle school when they were probably shipped with their best friend by all their other friends. Its literally the same internal pain that they're inflicting only they're taking it a step up to just plain disgusting. I'm an artist myself, I know better. Stick to fictional characters people.
honestly shipping real life ppl in general is just wrong like they’re humans not fictional characters they could see it and be made super uncomfortable :/
People draw inappropriate artwork of real life animals too, such as Jaiden Animations' pet(s) for example, and meme animals, most of them being real. This shows that some of Jaiden Animations fans are also z00ph1les who belong behind bars.
What makes it worse is that they try justifying themselves by saying “I’m drawing their avatars kissing not them!” As if a youtubers avatar isn’t a representation of themselves. I’ve seen this excuse a lot in the Minecraft community, dreams community especially
Yup look up the story of Reckful. He shipped himself with his ex on twitter and embarrassed himself to a point where he decided to end it all. It’s more than just being uncomfortable in some cases.
Imagine if people start to bash Jame’s girlfriend because “sHe’S gEtTiNg In ThE wAy Of ThEiR sHiP” They’re real people with their own lives. That’d just bring the pettiness of those people up to 300%.
Tell that to kpop stans. See if they'll listen. (I've come across way too many BTS nsfw ship art, it baffles me that there are so many of them out there who do this shit.)
It's not always bad, for example Miniminter and KSI's community ship them together as a running joke and there's probably weird fanart of them too somewhere, and the content creators (as far as we know), don't have a problem with it, they take it as a meme and sometimes do it themselves. However when people like Jaiden and James are clearly uncomfortable with it and have been asking people repeatedly to stop doing this, that's when this gets out of hand.
Its just depressing how people don’t respect people’s boundaries. Like in art, feelings and even personal space. As an artist myself, i am kinda disappointed in people doing these types of drawings. Its just sad how communities can be toxic sometimes.
I feel like with shipping people irl, it should only be a “they would be cute together” at the very most. And if the people themselves say to stop then the fans should stop. Just be respectful
Exactly. And they way people just say "grow up it's the internet just ignore it" pisses me off. Ofc no one is gonna know how to react to it or want it. They never asked for this let alone consent to it. Those same people saying this wouldn't "just ignore it" either I bet
@@nothere142 i think a lot of the people that make such art come from the same communities as people that geniunely stan. This whole alienating might make it easier to forget (or more ignore) the content creators are just every day people aswell. Besides that if they do come from communities that stan it doesnt seem unlikely that their bounderies are all fucked up. Long story short, i dont think anyone with normal common sense does this kind of thing
@@tsvh383 I dunno, I once had a friend who legitimately shipped my ordinary friend and some guy, so I feel like these people just don’t understand boundaries in general. agreed, people really messed up jacksepticeyes and markipliers friendship with “septiplier” stuff (i legit saw nsfw art of them multiple times in 2017 when the “ship” was huge eugh gross) and id be pretty sad if the same thing happened to jaiden and james bc they seem like best friends :/
People need to stop shipping real people. They aren’t your ocs, they aren’t your toys, you can’t just force a relationship on them, it’s cruel. If you think two people should be together keep it to yourself so it doesn’t make people uncomfortable. The same kind of goes for other people’s ocs or even popular characters. If the creator specifically says not to make rule 34 art of their characters you need to respect it.
I have personal experience with stuff like that and it's horrible on the receiving end. Please don't ship irl people. It makes us feel sick. You can't just force your own personal wants upon other people and expect them to be okay with it. People aren't toys.

This has gotten even worse since people who shipped them or made “art” are mad at Jaiden because she has come about as aroace and asexual, meaning she doesn’t feel strong or any romantic or sexual attraction to anybody.
This is why we need to draw a clear line between fiction and reality, a lot of people aren't able to recognize how their stupid fantasies affecting reality and hurting real-life people.

I for one have never seen any “inappropriate” art of jaiden. To come across it you would have to actively look for it or something similar (or just go on twitter because people are fucking weird on there) and putting out a video on it will probably make quite a lot of people go “oh hey lemme go find some now” and it doesn’t help that the video has 2 MILLION views. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
Omg yes. I hate how people ship people in the dream smp. Although, it’s still a problem in many other fandoms. Their people in real life! You don’t choose who is compatible in a relationship. I can get shipping maybe anime characters, but people in real life?! Jesus what is wrong with people. These people have feelings and you don’t get to choose somebody’s feeling for another. Oh my god.
Yea...I feel like jaiden anamations, markaplier, shanè and theoddonesout ( I don't know if this is true, Please don't come for me ) kinda has a toxic fanbase, sure there are some good people in the fanbases from what I'm aware of but I feel terrible if I told my fans to not ship me with anyone because I'm taken and they do it anyways.
Door. I watched the entire video and listened to everything you said. It's honestly disgusting when people ship real life people like Jaiden and James together in the most uncalled for situations. Its okay if you make fan art of people that ARE couples but keep it wholesome.
Jaiden and James aren’t animated cartoons they are real people , Real life shipping is pretty toxic and James has a girlfriend and he said not to ship him and jaiden
This is what has turned me away from traditional shipping of fictional characters. Like with real life, most of the romantic ships wouldn't happen as the people(or technically characters) wouldn't hold any romantic feelings, the relationships are more platonic in nature.
What makes this even worse, is Jaiden came out as aroace. Personally, I am ace and i would not want people to draw me some of the ways Jaiden is being drawn. I cannot speak for every ace, but i would think hardly anyone wants to be drawn that way Also, door
Shipping in real life is really just not good at all. The only times I've ever really let it be is when UA-camrs just embrace it and play along and fans don't go overboard with it. I think Ironmouse and CDawg has this thing, and they're very much aware of it, and they play along; or at least, it seems like it, unless they stated that they don't like it.
Never really thought anyone who gets to the point of shipping characters was all there. Theres usually established ships in media that are fine but people who freak out and take every little moment and overanalyse them to support their outlandish fan fiction desire are just insane. In my experience shippers actually ruined some stories by being loud enough their relationships get formed with absolutely no substance behind it. Legend of Korra for example, or Voltron ... star wars ... come to mind off the top of my head. In fact in the old days the best response to shippers from original avatar was when they made fun of them. Nowadays unhealthy internet obsessions have taken more root in these communities. People who obsess over gay shipping makes me creeped out (not because I feel differently about being gay but because seemingly they do and fetishize it) because they treat those people as their specific fetish ... two male characters can't actually be good friends without gay shippers coming out and drooling. People's sexuality or relationship shouldn't be treated as zoo exhibits.
V-Tubers are still characters. They are acted creations. The voice actor can stop playing the character and turn off the face animation when the stream goes off. But even with a V-Tuber, since they are so extensively roleplayed and voiced by a single person, it's still fucking creepy to ship them if they don't play along with it. Jaiden and James are real-ass human beings. "Shipping in real life" is not shipping, it's treating real fucking honest-to-goodness human beings like toys.
CDawgVA has talked about his thoughts on shipping, ua-cam.com/video/KYibOSD_Mqo/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/lse-NuMvVpE/v-deo.html Basically, he calls it cringe
Real life shipping is probably one of the most toxic things out there, feel free to ship fictional characters but please, don’t ship real life people especially when they have clearly stated they are not dating.
Agreed I love both Jaiden and James they're awesome I was unaware of this until now this is so unfortunate see how the person who did it feels when the same thing happens to them
Yeah something off but on topic is dream stan’s doing this and worse and the people in the smp ignoring it makes me uncomfortable because they are glorifying bad people even such as one of the smp players having a Twitter scandal making racist jokes and saying the r slur but instead of the community saying something the proceed to ship him with a minor 😖

You can only ship fictional characters, because well, they’re not real and can’t find it and have weird feelings on it. People, however, are sentient and can see what you have made. Don’t ship real people. Shipping characters of a TV show or anime is fine (i guess)

When I was way younger, I actually USED to ship the two. Now I dont, I'm more mature, I understand boundaries, ect. I never drew anything of those two, never wrote anything, I just thought that they could be cute together. Now I realise they're just friends, and will remain friends, hence their healthy friendship.
I did too way back in the day when they both started gaining popularity I was prob in 4th grade at the time but now it kinda just messed up that people would go out of their way to ship real-life people who said themselves that they are just friends
Me too, I used ship them cause I thought their friendship were just so cute and funny. But then I slowly forgetting about this ship and found out James already has a gf, I'll try to stop shipping it and respect them if that makes them uncomfortable and for their personal reason.
Sometimes, people forget that these are real people behind their animations, with friends and family. It's important to remember that these animators are people with feelings just like us.
You know what makes it even worse, Jaiden probably sees those weird fanarts regularly, because she always puts art on the ends of her videos that fans drew for her. She's such a wholesome and kind individual, so it's really uncomfortable for her...probably.
Either that or she has Shema's point of view on it, that she sees it as their own way of appreciating her, And she doesn't mind, but until she gives a definitive answer we'll never know
Undoubtedly* it’d make anyone uncomfortable especially since there’s fan-arts of random men that men would wanna portray themselves as and belittle Jaiden and do weird shii to her. Not to mention how much it ruins her image and the fact that _that_ is her first impression to a lot of people🤮
I feel like this is a very important message, and more people need to see this. I’m an artist myself and with our great power comes great responsibility. Art is an amazing medium to express yourself! But it becomes a problem when it starts negatively affecting other people... Shipping cartoon characters is fine, healthy even. But when it gets to real people with real thoughts and feelings, that’s where the line should be drawn.

I don't understand why "fans" have to be perverts and sexualize their favorite content creators. If it's something they encourage.. then sure, go for it. Whatever. But if it's something they either _haven't_ addressed or made their standpoint clear on, or have _openly said_ they do not want to be drawn in rule 34 or suggestive art, then it is very disrespectful and disturbing for people to keep doing it. I'd almost call it cyber sexual assault. I do know there are worse things that people do that would be more deserving of that label, but I still consider it to be pretty close. Any time someone doesn't consent to something, _especially_ sexually explicit acts or content, it's a no brainer that it's not okay to do anyway.. against their will. James, Jaiden, and Adam or even just James and Jaiden all make great content together. If you’ve noticed they stopped making content together around a year ago and it’s probably because of this. James even addressed this and how it negatively affects their relationships. If you want more content of these animators making videos together you have to stop this content.
Ok, I see where you're coming from but saying the septiplier situation “wasn’t as bad because James has a girlfriend” is honestly a bad take. Mark and Sean both have girlfriends, and though Sean had a different girlfriend, they still both had girlfriends during the peak of the ship. Now I know someone’s argument will be, “well, the art of them wasn’t nearly as bad,” which is WRONG. I’ve been a fan of Mark and Sean for years. When you know the whole situation, it gets a lot more disturbing. There was a specific artist who was honestly very good at art, but they used that skill in the worst way possible. The art they’d make of Mark and Sean was EXTREMELY explicit. This artist was so well known in the community it was a known fact that Mark had reached out to the artist and personality asked them to stop and explained that it made both him and Sean uncomfortable. However, they just said no and started openly saying they now disliked mark but would still draw him into sexual situations. I’m unsure whether or not Sean eventually reached out, but there came a point when this artist decided to make “Characters that weren’t Mark and Jack” and started drawing them (note: these two “OCs” were quite obviously Dark and Anti, Who are Mark and Sean’s characters) and just added some of their own touches to them and continued to draw them. They eventually stopped drawing Mark altogether, given their annoyance at Mark asking them to stop drawing him and Sean literally f***ing. They then continued drawing their version of Anti doing _stuff_ by himself and occasionally drawing Dark because “they missed drawing him” until I’m pretty sure they just left all accounts under that username. This artist was probably one of the most prolific artists of that era in the Markiplier and Jacksepticeye fandoms. Any active artists of either fandom would know exactly who you were talking about by just saying the initials CJ. There was plenty of other septiplier artists out there, but I don’t think any that affected the strain of Mark and Sean’s friendship as much CJ could have. There was no going under the radar for CJ because they were _proud_ of their art. I’m not trying to belittle Jaden and James's disturbing situation; I just found it uncomfortable that Septiplier felt so downplayed, a situation where an young artist basically ran the septiplier community, and even when personally asked to stop by the creators they were drawing, they just did more. Not to even mention the amount of explicit fanfictions that were produced by the septiplier shippers. *TL;DR:* Anyways, please stop this cycle of shipping real people and especially drawing them as more then just platonic friends, it’s gross and wrong and no matter how sneaky you think you are, they see it, they know, and they don’t like you for that :) so stop please Edit: formatting (no words changed)
I used to watch them and their collabs and be like “they would be a cute couple” but I wasn’t shipping them to the extent that they would be uncomfortable and yes I know other people do this but it’s just straight up wrong and annoying. I am starting to create content on twitch and I have some friends on their and I’m just scared of this happening to me cause I don’t wanna be uncomfortable doing collabs with people I have fun with. But anyways it’s just sad that people do this or even think about doing this.

I'm pretty sure both Mark an Jack had girlfriends at the time of the Septiplier drama, considering I've heard that fans of the ship have gone as far as to harass them, only backing off when Jack called them out for their behavior. I don't know Jack's current relationship status, but I'm 90% sure that Mark is still dating his girlfriend.
@@donyx0604 yeah- I think he and Gab were dating at the time of the drama? Is it so hard to sit back and just enjoy fictional ideas? What are they gonna do next, being zombies and/or dragons to life? People can be insane, and it's because of those other fans that I'm so afraid to admit to liking the Septiplier ship. shippers are probably the most polarizing aspects of any given fandom. either they're cool and make the community stronger, or they're rabid or creepy and make everything worse. there is literally no in-between.
The stigma against shipping is born of misogyny, since it’s largely associated with young girls. If it was associated with teen boys it would be “boys will be boys”. I respect that people are uncomfortable with being shipped in real life, but unfortunately this cannot be stopped. Recognize that this is only a vocal minority of shippers, even the ones who ship real people, since the majority keep it to themselves. It’s okay to ship real people if you’re not public about it. Nothing can ruin a fandom because fandoms aren’t strictly defined groups, and they’re not toxic either because it’s always a vocal minority.
@@diamondminer5459 It can ruin fandoms (at least from an outside perspective) because while they aren't "clearly defined groups" they're still very easy to generalise as groups, which means that if a vocal minority acts out, basically anyone who's also a fan is tainted alongside them in the eyes of everyone else. Nobody on the Internet cares if it's a boy or girl doing the shipping, it's still gross to ship real people and depict them sexually _especially_ if they've made it clear they don't want it.

It's really stressful and awkward whenever we get asked that and stuff so this is why i hate shipping people. :/ ( please don't ship people in real life. It could ruin friendships and stuff. It isn't funny or anything.)
I remember dealing with that back in my elementary days. I befriended a boy who didn't have many friends and was a bit troubled. Immediately, people thought we were dating. He stopped talking to me after a while, and I think it might of been from the harassment he received around "dating" me.

But actual humans who can see you’re art and feel weirded out by it, that’s completely wrong and inappropriate
I can't believe this is a discussion we need to have. It should be obvious to not ship real people yet so many completely overlook it. It kinda saddens me to be honest.
If they are okay with it, that's fine tho imo, as long as the fans don't take it too far and sexualize it like they did with Septiplier and now the new Septiplier, aka DNF (I don't watch dream but it's hard to avoid that shit now'a'days.) I may call my best friend and her girlfriend’s relationship cute and ‘ship’ them but that’s because they’re ACTUALLY DATING EACH OTHER and I’m JOKING.
(doing all that gross shit with fictional characters is bad enough)
It’s just fetishism and romanticism of the worst shit possible and it’s so annoying when they get mad at people who ‘aren’t letting their ship sail’ when that ship is hurting that person’s psyche.

I think it's ok to you are shipping two of your friends if it is a running joke in your friend group and those two people are ok with it
This is what has turned me away from traditional shipping of fictional characters. Like with real life, most of the romantic ships wouldn't happen as the people(or technically characters) wouldn't hold any romantic feelings, the relationships are more platonic in nature.
James has said they’re both people trying to have relationships. Leave it alone creeps.

I like your example of ironmouse and cdawgva 2 of my favorite UA-camrs and streamers and yeah I agree with you
Yeah I agree, shipping is fine if people are comfortable with it but it crosses a boundary when people aren’t.

Despite Connor's warning to not do so, I did look Jaiden up on Google and I was greeted with a few images of her in a bikini or even worse. And one of the images had the title "I want to fuck Jaiden Animations so much oh god it hurts" or something equally disgusting. STOP. SEXUALIZING. CREATORS.
It's not fans it's Artist who make that content for the fans example R34 artist are the main course of the problem, ok some fans might be doing that type of art but a larger portion of it is made by people Who's career is making lewd art and if something or one is really popular they capitalises on it like fire to oil think of the new Samsung AI people making lewd art of it won't even be a fan of Samsung, it's not about the artist trying to hurt James/jaiden it's just business for them, asking them to stop won't take away the damage done however it might stop them produc more or it might not the problem lies with the people who've made lewd art their career choice and to try and chash in on Jaiden's fan base by making that art to gain more support for themselves
I'm not saying it's right because it's not I'm just pointing out that the community fan base and the lewd art community producing the lewd art are two different things, ok so some artist might be fans as well but they are only interested in infecting the fan base and grabbing some/all of it for more patreons

*TL;DR:*
Anyways, please stop this cycle of shipping real people and especially drawing them as more then just platonic friends, it’s gross and wrong and no matter how sneaky you think you are, they see it, they know, and they don’t like you for that :) so stop please

That's just disgusting.
This is gonna take along time to read it fully
Thank you for the wall of text sir, can I have some more?
Agreed, *I didn't even read all of it*
This deserves FAR more likes
I used to watch them and their collabs and be like “they would be a cute couple” but I wasn’t shipping them to the extent that they would be uncomfortable and yes I know other people do this but it’s just straight up wrong and annoying. I am starting to create content on twitch and I have some friends on their and I’m just scared of this happening to me cause I don’t wanna be uncomfortable doing collabs with people I have fun with. But anyways it’s just sad that people do this or even think about doing this.
If you didnt ship to the point where
"You imagined then dating"
Then your fine

They would be a good couple, but they shouldn’t be shipped
When I ship I ship two characters if the fit each other. I don’t enforce it. Sometimes yes the ship sails and sometimes no.
@Tyco Zer0 *encourage, and I totally agree
I've made a drawing jaiden and james but as friends and ive seen what youre talking about and the fact that those inappropriate drawings may effect their friendship is just sad to think
I'm pretty sure both Mark an Jack had girlfriends at the time of the Septiplier drama, considering I've heard that fans of the ship have gone as far as to harass them, only backing off when Jack called them out for their behavior. I don't know Jack's current relationship status, but I'm 90% sure that Mark is still dating his girlfriend.
jack is dating gab now :D. She has her own channel but i dont remember the name its like Gabplays but im not sure
@@donyx0604 yeah- I think he and Gab were dating at the time of the drama? I know I heard about fans being super awful and trying to break Mark and Jack up from their girlfriends to get them together, and as a fellow person who likes that ship, I am severely disappointed in those fans. Is it so hard to sit back and just enjoy fictional ideas? What are they gonna do next, being zombies and/or dragons to life?
People can be insane, and it's because of those other fans that I'm so afraid to admit to liking the Septiplier ship. I've been with that ship since I was around 12 (now I'm 17) and it's the last of my "real people" ships. I'll drop it eventually, it's just so hard to drop something that seems so normal to me, even when I now know why it's bad :(
(It makes the people in that ship uncomfy with it because their personalities are being treated as dolls and not real-)
@@bonnietelocole6777 its fine as long as you dont project it to them like keep on tagging them to the ship post or commenting bout it in ther comment section. As long as you know its just fictional. And i think jack was dating someone else at the time, wish something her name
@@donyx0604 Wishu or something-
And yeah, I told myself that if I ever meet them, I'd _never_ bring up the ship. It'd make them uncomfy, and no one wants that. Hell- I'm scared that if I do post anything that they'll find it! In real life, they're just friends, and I acknowledge, and am ok with the fact that that's all they'll ever be. I just happen to like exploring the idea of them being something more in some other world, and I really hope someone is there to knock some sense into me if I ever begin to mix that world up with this one.
mark and amy are still dating, yeah
I hope no one does this. You know how hard it is to be friends with someone when everyone else see you two as a thing. My male friend is feminine just because he feels comfortable with it but he’s straight and I’m kind and like comforting him. People can’t see two guys or two people simply doing friendly comforting things and not think that we aren’t dating nor are we doing anything sexual. Now it’s hard to be comforting to any of my friends without being worried I’ll be shipped with them forever
that's the painful truth of life. also the source of all the "interesting" stuff found on the internet is caused from the ACCURSED, DISGUSTING, and FORBIDDEN internet "rule" called rule 34

shippers are probably the most polarizing aspects of any given fandom. either they're cool and make the community stronger, or they're rabid or creepy and make everything worse. there is literally no in-between.
Agreed
@@diamondminer5459 Guys, this person is literally copying and pasting this same exact paragraph in every comment thread. they're probably one of the shippers that do this, so ignore tham
Ikr?!
I’m a shipper but I don’t ship irl people especially if it makes the creator uncomfortable wtf
I hate sexual art I think that’s the worst
I’m glad you still give respect to shippers though
Most people don’t like shippers
when i was younger, my friend (who is my GUY FRIEND) would always talk to me and stuff and we were (still are) friends and do everything together but everyone was like "oh are y'all together?" or "oh why don't y'all date?" And it made us feel really awkward and stuff. It really was annoying because everyone would ask us and stuff EVEN THOUGH we said that we don't like each other.
@@lazuliartz1296 yeah i think so too. I feel really bad for him and for you also. I'm sorry y'all had to deal with that
Yeah, I actually have a friend like that right now, and everyone says we like each other even though we've said we don't. I'm not even in elementary school holy crap. People are so freaking immature it makes me mad, and the worst part, I think she likes a completely different guy! If she ever had any shot at him it's gone now. It ruins relationships, and is just a really toxic thing to do.
@@namesarefortheweak it completely is. I dealt with what you were dealing with in elementary school but even still i still deal with that kinda.
That happened to me as well, especially when I was in elementary school. The thing is, my guy friend is literally gay and people still thought that we liked each other. It was incredibly annoying.
You are really wise you know this talent of yours is really special also it’s really cool your using if and i really love your vids keep up the great work
Ok here’s the thing with shipping. You can ship imagery cartoon characters. But not real people if it’s something like them being friends then it’s fine but when it gets too far stop because as the Odds1out once said “Messing with real people’s lives is not a good thing”

@@give-me-a-handle If I was there I'll be the only that would be the only one shipped even to non living things.

Shipping people in real is just crossing the line to being creepy. These are real life people with their own lives and are not fictional characters for you to ship and act out your weird fantasies/fetishes
I guess it’s a thing young folk just need to be taught. Reminds me of the opposite situation, where kids get truly upset over someone disliking their fav fictional character, as if it were their best friend being insulted.
