May I know how do you get so many views every time, but when I tried to do something similar (like your Puss vs Death fight edit), but with a different song, I got almost nothing so far? Please don't hate me for asking for an advice, because youtube hates me enough already, from what I know.
If I had a definitive answer to that believe me, I’d have been hitting those numbers a long time ago.
Some of it’s just luck, some of it’s playing on the right trend, some of it’s genuine quality of the content itself (but let’s be honest, that’s not a requirement), but you also need, as I understand it, some sense of consistency in what your content _is_ to eventually get some traction with the algorithm.
While I’ve typically veered more towards Bionicle stuff, an inherent niche, I’m pretty consistent with shitposts and music edits, sometimes blending the two, with rare exception. And despite the different movie, these edits aren’t that different from what I’ve usually done, giving me some momentum to coast on.
That’s my way of rationalizing it anyway. To be honest I don’t have a damn clue.
