Very no nonsense comparison again. Focusing on the right criteria. Very clear and to the point in your exposé (which is far from being the case in many videos by other UA-camrs). Thank you.
@@BrunoChalifour if they’re gonna send me a review copy then sure, but not sure if they’re happy about this one. It’s kinda interesting seeing other ppl’s reviews such as Benj. He ranked it at the top (price was a big factor though) above Leica and Zeiss. Oh well I just can’t do things like that it’s called bullshitting.
Wonderful to see you’re back. I always appreciate your reviews, without exception they’re interesting and insightful. Greetings from a wet windy and cold Lake District in northern England. What ever happens please keep up with your great reviews and photos, passion is what life’s about.
So happy this one was in english! welcome back ! May i request a comparision? I've been very curious about the nokton 1.5 and the zeiss bigon F2 theyre priced very close but on paper the Nokton wins a lot of boxes?
Intresting. From my experience in the last two weeks my instinct tells me the Leica lens outperforms all lenses when used wide open in difficult lighting situations. That’s something which surprised me the most. If I get the right shot, scene and situation… the picture is just different than all other lenses I have. Sure, this is highly subjective. Now I know why some people spend big money on lenses….
It would never come to my mind to buy a Typoch lens. Simply because they have not heritage in lens making. There are plenty other reasons too. The Typoch is the first Chinese lense that does not look like a Leica copy. The industrial design is quite nice.

Thank you for your kind words. I’m glad you found it useful!
@@JimmyCheng Now, are you thinking about reviewing the Thypoch 28 mm f 1.4 ;o) ?

Great to see you back.
Happy to see you back, Jimmy! Hope all is well with you and your family! I hope you can do a review of 28 Simera vs 28 Nokton!
That’s on my wish list too, not sure Thypoch would send me their 28. And I’ll still have to buy the vm

thank you so much for your kind words! Much appreciated.
Just got the 28mm in my hands. So many thoughts. Thanks for the videos as always Jimmy. Nice to see you back
Also I share the exact same sentiment regarding innovating in the design! Glad to see I’m not alone
Thank for the comment! Looking forward to your 28mm review! I’m more interested in that lens.
@@JimmyCheng will be out in a week or so!
Great review again. Would love to see a review of your 35mm steel rim 👌
Coming soon
Welcome back. Happy CNY : )
Happy new year!
Good to see you back. Enjoyed this one. I like the VG a lot!
Thanks! I’m glad you liked it
Great vid! I would have loved to see a fourth lens thrown in the mix for comparison - Zeiss Distagon 35mm ZM f/1.4.
Ah yes the king of the fast 35 Leica Ms

Sorry I don’t have the zeiss f2, if I can find one relatively cheap or if I can borrow one I would.
Hi Jimmy, thanks for your reviews that help me a lot. Could you please also do a review on the Leica 35mm F/2.5 (or F/2.4) lens?
Ah thanks for the reminder! I’ve actually planned to do a while ago
Hi Jimmy, glad to see youre back, I have emailed you just now :)
I got interested in this lens from the very beginning.

謝謝🙏
Thank you for that awesome review! One question: Did you compare the Voigtländer and the FLE on film? Can you spot a difference there?
Sorry I haven’t do any AB test on film yet.
@@JimmyCheng Do you have some pictures on film with the Voigtländer? Or maybe some large file format of these comparison shots? :)
Hi Mr. Cheng, question about the Thypoch Simera 35mm f1.4 m mount, the DOF scales (holes), will dust and water enter the lens elements? Thx.
hmm, I don't have an answer for you at this moment yet. But I will keep an eye.
It seems you have moved to a nice place. Congrats
yeah thank you!
