- From the 1992 special 'Lavishly Mounted'.
Julia McKenzie sings Stephen Sondheim's 'The Boy From...', a parody of The Girl From Ipanema.
Kit and The Widow have been likened to Tom Lehrer, Anna Russell, Fascinating Aida, Victor Borge and Flanders & Swann.
She is one of those ladies that combine, class, talent and humour! She is marvellous!!
I saw the glorious Millicent Martin version; now I have the privilege of seeing this version. This woman is heaven.
Her Adelaide in the best Guys and Dolls I ever saw at the National Theatre in London prompted me to write them and tell them what a dream she was. She was born to play Adelaide.
Excellent. I first saw Julia playing Hester Field on Sit Com Fresh Fields in 1984, I was 8. She had me in stitches and has done ever since. An amazing actress
