You go based on availability and effectiveness. So why not section off based on likelihood of environment traveled?

The 41st will always hold a special place in my heart. I just love their camouflage armor and the fact, that they are an elite bataillon. You want to know, how I honor them? The new Battlefront 2, Kashyyk map, Republic side, scout-class, 41st scout bataillon skin and my beloved "one-shot" sniper-rifle. The droids will learn, how to feel fear!

They were created just for Battlefront 2 so while they are technically canon most information you will find on them comes from the short paragraphs about them in the skin selection screen.

The Scout Troopers were always my favorite Stormtroopers as a kid, so imagine my sheer surprise when I go to see ROTS as a kid and we see not only the wookie homeworld, but an entire special operations group of Clone Troopers with scout trooper armor AND camouflage AND green visors. I don't care what anyone says about George Lucas, I'm an adult and I still love that movie

For me, being in a 41st elite corps Discord server, think my favorite part is when the scout troopers make use of the giant trees on Kashyyk and use it as a sniping platform.
One of those 41st batalion clone troopers, can be seen in the first teaser of Jedi: Fallen Order, as he lies dead on Kashyyk. He got order 66 message from Palpatine and was found by Cal after he was killed probably by Wookies led by Chief Tarful.
