We visited a few years ago and stayed at the Miranda Cottages and it was one of our favorite trips ever! Such a beautiful little city and the people were so friendly and helpful. You are so lucky to live there.
@@Claudinistube my parents both worked for the schools there I went to Hugh school in Miranda I went all through school wirrh the manager of the cottages
@@michellewrisley79 I use to live in Myers Flat when married to my first husband. Miss humboldt county, lived there most of my life, and in Larabee and Holmes Flat.
Thank you for this video. It sure brought back so many memories of our trip to Miranda, One of our best vacations ever! Love the Miranda Cottages, right in the middle of the giant trees. An experience I will never forget.
Wow, that is really an amazing forest. And is placed exactly on the Pacific Coast road. Should be on the list of everyone doing a roadtrip through California, I put it on mine, hopefully will get there soon.
Needless to say, I went through more than one pair of shoes. Even found myself helping farm marijuana in the mountains with drones and helicopters flying over everyday and others on the property carrying assault rifles and shotguns
There is definitely something odd about the mountains of Humboldt county, and the lights in the sky at night. I will say that. Glad I left when I did. People were nice though, just a little paranoid.
I have lived here for 54 years my parents moved here the week after the 64 flood this drive never gets old

Great! Thanks for sharing!
Have traveled this road many a time traveling between Lakeport and Eureka to see relatives.
BTW, Fantastic video! Thanks for sharing!
Very picturesque. Rog. Pacific sunset records.
Such awesome huge trees. Thanks for the great video.
Redwoods are the tallest, but the Sequoia trees up in Sequoia National Park are much bigger. Drive up from Visalia Ca. and film those trees. Amazing.
I did this exact drive last year!
Locals sure do like doing their burnouts and donuts. I drove this route back in 1999. Quite the scenery! 😊
Why did u skip the first town on the avenue. Phillipsville
Yep, and barely saw Myers Flat where I use to live.
I walked it 5 years ago.
Beautiful country.
Movie "Wrong turn" were filmed there:)😅🎬🧟📽️
Do a driving tour of Los Angeles
There are a lot of driving tours through LA on this channel...
I walked it all the way up the coast from the greyhound bus station to Washington State.
Needless to say, I went through more than one pair of shoes. Even found myself helping farm marijuana in the mountains with drones and helicopters flying over everyday and others on the property carrying assault rifles and shotguns
