Mother’s Day and Covid-19

Today is Mother’s Day, tomorrow is my daughter’s birthday. I am an at risk person and I have not touched anyone since we were camping in early March. It has been 60 days. We are a very close and hugging family. I love To run my fingers through my daughters hair while her head is in my lap. I learned this is impossible with gloves. This was a Mother’s Day gift I gave myself and a birthday gift I gave my daughter. I wish all my at risk friends in quarantine could hug their children . Happy Mother’s Day with a “new normal”
