Hand Cyclist-Wendy Larsen

I met Wendy while camping at Brazos Bend state park with Houston Women's Hiking group. This quiet cyclist would zip by several times and I could not get my camera out quick enough. Then someone told me that she rides this way because she does not have the use of her legs. This is so inspiring. If you are ill and fighting against something and doctors give you no hope, find your own. So proud to know her and to have experienced this on this weekend.
