That “have fun everyone!” was so genuine. That person must love their job.
To me this is the most peaceful ride at disneyworld
stunning and this ride is more impressive in person, especially for those who truly appreciate the world of avatar. i can understand why some people find it boring tho
I would have inner peace if they made this ride longer than small world
5 years after opening she still moves so fluidly
Seeing that she's 10 mil and took years to produce I'm pretty sure they want her stay in perfect condition for atleast a decade
Yet they couldn’t even keep the yeti animatronic going for as long
@@jmonee4770 because the structure the yeti was built on was damaged and continuing to allow the yeti to move would have resulted in a critical failure of the entire ride.
To be fair they can’t even get the damn bird to keep working at the top of the Everest ride and that’s not structural

I just rode this a few days ago for the first time. It was absolutely beautiful. I didn’t ride the other ride because it looks too intense. I haven’t seen the movie either.
Next time you go back… RIDE THE OTHER ( this is from someone from hates most rides btw)
The other ride is breathtaking, my favorite ride, everyone around you will genuinely cheer and go “wow!!” Over and over again lol
It may seem intimidating, but next time, RIDE THE FLIGHT! I cry everytime because it’s so unbelievably beautiful! It’s life changing!
A nice and relaxing ride but a little bit too short in duration.
Yeah, I went on this ride two days ago and I was expecting much longer routine like more creatures and obviously encountering Jake Sully.
It's like being underwater above the water.
This is a beautiful ride, and a super impressive animatronic! Recommendation,if possible, ride this before Flight of Passage.
I remember going to Animal Kingdom my first time and to see Pangea the first time, I wanted to ride the river ride (at last year's Festival of the Arts). But the line was too long, the ride broke done (I think), and then the park close. So, thank you for sharing.
I tell ppl that theres a huge drop at the end so that its at leasy mor exciting for them until the end. 😅

It makes sense that the film franchise's owner 20th Century Studios is a Disney movie studio since it was acquired in 2019.
I wish it was longer, bigger and more immersive. Please don’t get me wrong. It looks absolutely beautiful but it feels like they rushed it to complete a project schedule. As if it was meant to be bigger and longer, but they cut the budget or didn’t have enough time and so they made it shorter.
they didn’t cut the budget…the entire budget went into the Shaman animatronic. she was 10 million dollar and took years to make

@@hillelhalevi nah, disney is full of cheap animatronics. she is the entire reason people go on this ride and why there was even hype around it to begin with. without her it’s nothing.
@@mads7710 It's a one time ride then. You see the fancy animatronic and don't need to go back. I agree that it's nothing without that animatronic.

Did you edit that where it showed the walkway right before the ride? I thought of Fight Club where they would have a snippet of something bad in the movie.
I was able to ride this before the pandemic!

Navi River Journey is not as popular as Flight of Avatar!
Because it’s a calm ride

Personally I am not all that impressed if that is all that ride is. Granted I never been on it.
Boring, but the animatronic was very fluid in her movements. I think that all the budget went there.
Yep. The rest of the ride is just videos playing on a screen. Very cheap, honestly.
Some people compare this ride to Journey Cruise and It's A Small World but at least those rides have fully functioning animatronics throughout the entire ride. This ride is literally a bunch of videos playing on screens until the one animatronic at the end.

Lightning laned it a few times. It's a nice escape from the Florida heat and serene..some nice immersion slow boat ride if you are into the world. I enjoyed it just wished it was longer and had a few "close call" elements like narrowly escaping dropping off a waterfall in the cave or something, maybe even diverting down an alternative path from riders in front of you leaving two different possible experiences. Also maybe adding another animatronic or dark portion and 4d elements (water, wind, smells, ect.) The. This really would be quite the experience
@@AndyVandercoyYeah, definitely should have been much more expansive. I like the idea of two separate paths that can be taken, leading to two separate experiences. Could've made it like Mission Space where one path is a more chill boat ride and the other is a bit more intense with a waterfall drop.
I also agree that, if anything, this ride at least needed more animatronics throughout it. It's sad when much older rides like Jungle Cruise and even Dinosaur, in the same park, have more animatronics than a brand new ride like this. It feels cheap that most of the ride is just videos playing on TV screens.
Adding things like smells that change as you move through different areas, wind effects, etc. would have really helped this ride and it's hard to understand why they weren't added.
