In last combat, I think it counted the swords correctly, just showed it wrong on the log. Beast had 4 troops and 1 dread (11 strength), then revealed Bashar (3 swords with artillery), sardaukar infantry (4 swords with Bashar and artillery), plus he received 4 swords for Restrictive Ordinance. 11+3+4+4 is 22, which was his final strength.
Round 4 block foldspace then sm then ship would have given an extra shipping turn by blocking Ilesa. Especially good with shifting in deck. Probably even lets you steal spy sats from beast.
wouldn’t R2 be better if you used infiltrate to send your ring to smuggling AND use the spice to recall? Would have 2 influence with guild + 7 solari for R3?
I think the Beast swords at the end were correct, the game bumped him from 11strength to 22 strength. 1 dreadnaught + 4 troops (11str) + Sardukar Infantry (2str + 1Bashar + 1art), Bashar (2str + 1art), +4str from Restricted Ordinance The log showing 15 swords is incorrect still.
On the final round, would it have been worth considering to play Shifting Allegiances to Interstellar shipping in order to up-down for spice, to get a down-up with the Fremen in order to get to 2 water for research station while stealing the alliance? Nobody else had 2 water to go to research station. Did you think you needed the extra point with Fremen to prevent Beast from stealing it back? I guess I'm not sure if this line has any merit. Many of the cards in your deck had no influence at that point.
Hmmm. It is a possibility. It is risky. Can let me drop from 2nd to 3rd. Based on the reward structure. Just locking in and revealing seemed fine. Didn't see an out even with research station
Hi Cheesable. I know you are a very experienced player but i wondering about you informing on the tiebreaker intrigue card to other players. Is that common/acceptable practice in your experience. It seems a bit unethical. Thanks, Dortor
It is information you have. Why won't you maximize it to your advantage? Same for stolen intrigues. It may even be a lie. It is just table talk, which is very normal in a board game. In this case I wanted beast to push into ilesa. So I shared information that would push my agenda. On tts as long as you don't show your intrigue, it is within rules. This has been also confirmed within rules with game designer paul
@@cheesable I think this is more of an etiquette/moral question than a rules question. I watched a few vids of you now and I've seen that you didn't like when people go for alliances of other players in another vid. But isn't that just the same principle? You help yourself (and the rest of the table) by hurting one player in particular. I'd say it's either everything goes or not. But that's just me.
@TheGrouch91 morally I think it's okay. It's part of your leader kit. Same for stolen intrigues. With stealing alliances. I am generally fine with it if it makes sense. It's a risk I'm taking if someone is chasing me. Just because it feels bad doesn't mean that it isn't fair game. It's part of table talk
Funny that the first thing that happens is you wondering about the "card to keep". Cause just before you released this video I played a ranked game, and didn't read that. So I just assumed it was the other way around, so I kept the wrong card
I did the same thing the first time I played Hundro on Digital. I can see where they're coming from, it plays more like acquiring a card from the imperium row. But for someone used to playing on TTS, where the intrigues are already in 'your' area, and you choose one to put back, it feels backwards.
Yeah also found it odd I thought it was to smuggle next turn with ring for extra value and then go to wealth if not blocked or get some solari/win combat through fremen - worst case we are at 7 solari. Setting up a t3 SM. Regardless I think burning the water was wrong since it disabled hardy next turn. 1 spice was enough.
The funny bit is I would think about carryall there. I cooled down on Piter. It's an excellent card, but you don't feel the villain vibes until you push around the whole table with highliner every second round.
Hmmmm. I think hundro needs spice. That's all. More tempo than anything. I proabnly misplayed. But tbh, I like criticism. I know that my hundro game play is lacking. So it is a good time to learn
@@cheesable I can't play Hundro at all, just feels a one-trick pony - and he is good at that trick! But all the fun I have from game now is going silly builds that sometimes work in silly ways. Like today I went t.1 Haga basin->selective breeding, buy Satellite network (missed 6 for Guerney), t2 more selective breeding, buy Guerney, t3 buy Jessica. Kept looping through whole deck every round while winning or 2nd placing combats. Silly, because who opens like that, but worked.

Yeh strength is correct. Text is wrong. Which prob threw me off. Just wasn't sure if it was a text bug or actual strength bug

Hmmm. Probably. My hundro is bad. I need more reps on it

Mmm probably. I don’t play too much hundro. These lines aren’t obvious to me. Nut your suggestion seems the best
@@cheesable Yes I was really surprised you didn't do this.
@@scmccarthy I need a hundro tutor

Yepyep. Too stretched to see if it made sense haha

I knew they changed that fold space interaction, I’ve definitely trashed it in the past to not draw with it in the steam version
Really? Only at selective I think. Elsewhere it will auto draw

Yes. It happend to me too. But I think I was on my iPad so didn’t record
Very counter intuitive since everything else it's just ditching.

You had a turn 1 pitre (ilesa has at least 1 sword). Did you turn it down on ourpose?
Same thought here!
Must be fun to be Cheesable and have an audience of professional backseat gamers commenting on every round 😂
