Yes, different format for different days. I trashed sayadina as I needed fremen bond to trigger persuasion. It was more insurance than anything

Even if deck is bad you still trash Sayyadina at that point. Already cashed out, near impossible to cash out again, really hate to draw it (-1 point because no spice must flow), so it is the best card to trash in that situation.

I haven't played immo for a very long time, but we've been using a lot of cards from base and ix with uprising, and I think we grew tired of that one, so we're gonna try to include stuff from immo too

@@cheesable haha you are definitely right about that. I guess by "sneaky" I meant that I/people might be undervaluing it at this point, not that future opponents won't see it coming. Having a larger combat strength burst potential, as well as a higher total strength ceiling, might be very useful. Although the solari requirement might make it tough to get a lot of use out of.

Yeah Cheesable may want to revisit this. Contracts seem important and easier to get them here. 4 can be quite a lot but you get 2 points from all faction influence which is really good.

IMO, this card (and the expansion as a whole) probably makes Shaddam significantly better than in the base game. With this card: 1. Solari becomes abundant (one of the more common contract rewards), which enables a fast swordmaster and more triggers of Shaddam's ring without having to dedicate as many resources toward harvesting spice to trade in at shipping. 2. Being able to acquire and complete Sardukar contracts on-demand as Shaddam without spending the spice to visit the space greatly helps you by preserving spice for shipping. 3. One of my biggest problems when I play Shaddam is that after spending so many resources on the influence track, at least one player can easily contest at least one of my Alliances. This card alleviates that significantly. (Maybe this point is moot since there is a lot more faction access in general in this expansion, making the track more competitive on average) You might even consider not trashing the card immediately so you can keep getting contract rewards from Accept Contract.

@@cheesable Yeah I think 8 would be a balanced cost for this card. This expansion looks fantastic. I was really hoping for more support for the influence track and they really delivered.

The thing about it is that games end Round 7 alot. So you don't r4ally have the time to hit that power spike while deckbuilding alot

Leaders in play and lack of interstellar shipping access. You have all the premium track chasers who want the alliances. So they likely arent going to be cheap!

The downside to doing it that way is you can only get 1 troop into combat. Personally... I would have leaned that way because I don't value this combat very high. I guess it's a question of what resources you would rather have for your goals. His way he has 4 spice and an intrigue... our way you have 3 sol, 1 spice, an intrigue , and 2 troops.

The kicker to my line is that I get interstellar shipping access next few rounds. Conspire is mainly good for swordmaster. Else, spice wise it is really expensive

@@cheesable You move faction access the same way in both scenarios... so you still get your shipping access either way.

Yes. It is way easier position 2, but being position one, means you can't get off round 1 round 2 combinations for swordmaster or interstellar. So you devalue those options

@cheesable i would take it. I hate the recent game ui, on the big screen no distinction, for my autistic mind it is a hell. A computer game, but you can't clean it by your preferences. AND THE LONG ANIMATIONS, killing my combo wombo, when I need every second. I have serious love-hate relationship with this game ,)
