Some guitars are just magic. This is one of those guitars.
Knucklehead sounded like a Showerhead for a second. Love that LP! You got me looking at my bank account balance guys! Stop it!
lol 😂
A serial number that they put on, a paint and a relic job. Yeah, it absolutely sounds like a legit vintage '58 Les Paul Jr.
My favourite guitar of all.
Omg Lemmo you sound so good using my brand new hearing aid replacing my 15 year old unit!! ❤🎸🎸🎸☮️🖖
The tone you get from vintage hearing aids is far superior. Mine is an ‘06 reissue reliced
Thanks Michael! Nice!
Boy!! Those sound great together!
Missed Jen.
That amp sounded freaking large and loud as AF 😮WOW!!! if u can hear in this side can only imagine what that sounded like in the store
His amps are AMAZING 😊
I know Lemmo Loves Extra Heavy Reverb but I could enjoy hearing a lot of the Guitars with it Dialed back or turned off from time to time
Man, I can feel the breeze from that thing. 🙂
My favorite guitar
I have alot of favourites from alot of videos from you guys but this will be still a favourite 😅
😮 'Well deserved fresh breath.. ..and Knuckles always were my favourite.. 🎵♥🎶
Man, my fave Gibson body style.
Bridge of sigh. Great job.
What a beaut!
Really dug the Bridge of Sighs, by Robin Trower! He’s one of my favorites! Thanks Lemmo! Awesome video Jen!
I'm hearing a bit of Bridge of Sighs ... RT would be proud, g... Love the old P90's ...
In decent original condition, the prices on those juniors and specials have just exploded in the past couple of years. Yes, they are pretty cool guitars, but when you're talking $13K or so, that's just nuts. Yes, they are rare in good shape because they were more or less student guitars and usually got thrashed.
13K lmfao
You wouldn't believe the insurance prices I pay ,my 59 single cut tv jr is the least and I've turned down almost double that, all my axes go to my son.
Excellent Michael, any chance you coming to the mid west in 2024?
killer sound !
Nice Trower Michael!
Coolest guitar in history
i want a rick beato signature model 🙏
Sounds good..back off the reverb a tad
Been a long time crossing, wow, awesome guitar Michael, but that!!! If it sounds that good across UA-cam the sound there must have been incredible! Great stuff guys.
If the original finish was still on the back of the headstock why did it get a new serial number?
That's a good question. In '58, the serial number would have been printed on the back of the headstock. Why stamp it?
@@michaelmccullough2023 a fair number of 58 juniors came out of Kalamazoo without serial numbers. Would probably been better to have left it that way, but I guess they already did so many things to it, so figured why not
@@josephr4637 That makes sense. Thanks for the info.
Because it was likely stolen at some point, so Norm refinished it and put a “custom” serial number so he can still charge a premium.
Sounds like a pretty quiet p90from this side. With all that gain anyway. Great job Mike .
It's going into a Fender Super Reverb... ( NO GAIN )
@@soundpainter2590? Yeah sure the dude worked for fender but it’s a Rivera with the gain on…….
Bravo
Some great tone, esp on the Bridge of Sighs bit
Unledded on Page's 80th. Would have nice to get the Led Out on that tasty sounding refin junior.
That Amp kicks serious ..._____...and some ! That Gibson is not going to stay on the racks very long..in one of the bands I played in our rhythm guitarist had one but not the same year thou..super cool 😎 !!!!
Can’t find it in your online store.
Knarley P90 ..So much Grunt
I tried the reissue at GC 3 or 4 years ago and it sounded great too . Way better than its Epi equivalent. Neck woulda killed my Carpel T tho
3:55 Another guitarist quits and takes up Bass
I thought you said that amp rocked!!!! LOL fer shure it does.
HEY LEMMO GOT IT RIGHT
STRAIGHT INTO THE AMPLIFIER
CARLOS GUITARLOS 90042 USA
Ei, LEMMO, Acertei
DlRETO NO AMPLIFICADOR
CARLOS GUITARLOS 90042 EUA
Gibson guitars sound amazing it just sucks having to retune them every ten to fifteen minutes
This is a much better amp for demoing guitars
crazy stupid playing, great sounding Jr. Jen you got it all babe, love you.
Wow. How pissed would my neighbors be if I got one of those amps?
Why do I have a '59 single cutaway tv model jr ? I've seen only one on a UA-cam channel, asking if it was refinished, never answered (nik59) but I got mine from the original owner in '69 or 70,mint except for a little laquer checking, the p90 is a sick vicious puppy, does anyone else here own one?
Yes.
😮
Monster! Whoh! Hang on Hannah
cool shirt
Goes to 11 this is spinaltap when I'm asked about rock I ask have you seen spinal tap this is where you start
If its the same guy , his amps have improved since the Evil Twin days.
Where is Jen ?????
relic job, no me gusta.
Yeah, I wonder what it looked like BEFORE they 'refinished' it? Is the wear on the neck original, or was it a complete refinish? And if they're going through the trouble of a complete refinish, then why negate the effort/expense by then giving it a 'bad' relic job? I'd like to see the 'before' pictures to see why they refinished an AUTHENTICALLY aged guitar, and then gave it an amateur looking relic treatment anyway? Were there issues with CRACKS/GOUGES in the body that needed to be glued or required wood filler?
A JR W/ Zero Reverb is the way to go. BALLS DELUXE. But Noooo.... If you want to do The Kenny G thing.. yeah. But Kenny G is... Ooh, I have too be "Respectful"
Johnny Thunders guitar
Johnny's was a DC special, 2 p90's with the horse decal.
Lemme guess. Is it a "really, really cool guitar"?
👍✌❤😎
Trower...
Bridge of Sighs (1974). Trower was a big Fender player and played this on a custom Strat. Lemmo needs to play this again on a Fender.
Did he just say Barbie and Ken?
Jesus H and Mary…….
You Can't Play Trower ......
Oh good, Norm put a “custom serial number”. So we get to pay a premium for a guitar that is beat up, refinished, AND stolen!
piece of firewood, junk.
Give it up Mate- your playing is crap.
Love DC Jrs but man, that relic job does not look like anything like an original worn TV finish.
Good example of why Gibson can charge so much for the 'Murphy Aged' guitars! I'm not really a big fan of faked aging, but there's definitely some skill required to make it appear 'natural'.
Friggin' tone machine.
