Good Evening Guys. Amazing video, and amazing gift box SS . What honour must be to holding now and touched after all this years . The Crafstmens in Germany was awesome and have eyes for details and Perfection. You do not see that in those days. If I win Lottery I will go for makes something like this.
Hello and good morning to Mr Whitman and Rob, for another fantastic show. Absolutely loved the SS box with all the officers names enscribed on it. It's pure n real history for all to see. Just imagine who n when those officers where there. What was said n planned. Got to be one of my favourites on your shows so far. But I know there is going to be more to come with the surprises that turn up for you to open. It must be really buzzing for you to see when the packages are opened by you. All the best from Phillip Colley in the UK.
Maybe. Just concerned about the amount of “boxes” coming out of Eastern Europe especially items with facsimile signatures. Yes the carving is top notch I will agree on that.
Time for a tumbler of "Old Barn Owl" bourbon. Here is an idea - have a casket open in the back ground and a guy like the Nosferatu come out and leave - "Hey that is my new tenant - he only comes out at night" you explain.
I have a clue as to why the SS Oberscharführer is wearing an officers cap? Because he holds the highest non-commissioned rank within the camp he could be a potential officer candidate or he could be literally waiting to be commissioned after officer training? As we know out of all the formations within the German military in the Second World War the SS were the worst to follow conventional orders when it came to uniform, but I think it is because he is the highest rank in NCO and probably about to be made in officer that he decided to put the cap on for the photo.
That box, as evil as it its aura may be, is indeed peak item for anyone collecting anything SS. Goes with out saying of course but that REALLY needs to stay in the right hands. Anyone who knew of his horrible crimes would probably want to destroy that item. I would say to you to keep that in your collection. Incredible piece of collection that item is.. Currently watching a video on youtube of his crimes and hanging.. Thank you sir for this video.
Agreed JR! I watched the same erwin rosener documentary after seeing this box. I'm curious who signed those plaques. I see himmler on the bottom of the left plaque...
Tom, I am sure this has been asked before, but would like to know what brand of liquor and beverage you use for your drink? My favorite (speaking in past tense) was Black label Jack Daniels with Coca Cola!
More than that for who he was and what he did. He was one of the worst SS guys who took pleasure killing inocent woman and children. Infact he often did it himself…that box gives me the creeps!
@@Bradydog-in7ut In that case I would agree he was one of the worst. Could you post any references/sources for his personal executions? I've read alot about him but never anything like that...tia
Wow! That SS box is out of this world! 😮

What a piece! There's around 20 signatures on the plaques and a ton of research potential for those individuals. I'm curious who they are also.
That SS box, WOW !! who wouldn't want that in their collection, I would!! thanx for the unexpected video, Congrats on your Book!
1st DTC was May 28th 3 years ago. Thanks for all the great videos.
78 years ago today Erwin Rosener was sentenced to death in Ljubljana Slovenia. Great timing for this video Witty!

What a fantastic show! Great items and a lot of laughs. I really am curious on the provenance of that big box.
With the master carving and 2 plaques with facsimile signatures I don't see that as a fake.

Nothing like a tall glass of Old Barn Owl 🦉
Congats on the books, Tom.
I think that box was in one of your show videos. Probably 10 years ago. I think you said it was used for a presentation MK.
I couldn't find the video but I am sure you guys featured that box or one identical on a previous video.
Great stuff.
Yes, they all had the tab and made the placement of the belt correct.
Looks like we're gonna need a bigger cellar....
It’s like Das Boot down here.
A Gosch flag is a naval flag. Flew over a boat/ship etc.
Gösch means bow of a ship.
This small 'Jack' flag was flown from a jackstaff on the bow of a war ship to indicate its nationality.
Very collectable flags for naval collectors.
Thanks Tom.. interesting video
By The way , i am Czech ,and like to see translation on your book .
Ohh helllllll yeaaaaaaa!!!
The M40 is a BGS helmet

The picture is officer in the sd. It is a complete artificially aged fake. Probably with a wet tea bag.

Omg I'm definitely going to get that book in Czech language!
Oooh an early video!
I know about the waffen ss l and about the luftwaffe and the Allgemeine-SS I am a fan of books on ww2 history books

Tom drinks something called “Imperial” which is bottom-shelf blended rotgut with Pepsi, the most vile of all cola drinks.
@@WittmannAntiqueMilitaria Thanks for the response. I really look forward to the next unboxing in the cellar. Please tell your Dad hello for me!
This drink, after Lemmy´s death (Motörhead), is referred now as "Lemmy " (he used to drank a liter of JD with coke every day... )
Super box
Привет из Израиля
Оккупант...
Just give the camera to your friends at shows and have them pass it off to the next guy?;)
The books are in Czech and Russian ?
Just Czech at the moment.
My estimate on the Police General box $27,000-35,000
Maybe more i think.in a 50 k Range.?

You can use your phone to translate your new books
Tom refuses to use a cellphone despite their unbelievable utility.
It definitely gets higher than that. It could have been Erwin rommel's.
Indeed, but this guy was as evil as they come being head of anti partisan squad who tortured and killed innocent civilians.
🙂👍
Andrew Gates......? I've just bought a Luft portepee and an Army Eickhorn dagger from him....Top bloke......!!
