It's safer than legacy trucks with their high front grills. The data shows that hood height is the best predictor of pedestrian injuries. The higher the hood, the more lethal the impact.
It's funny how things have changed. When GM came out with the Dust Buster Mini Vans they were criticized because of the motorhome distance between the interior and the end of the windshield. There is no comparison in vehicles of course. I remember when Tesla first introduced the Cybertruck, I thought, OMG how ugly. It was a shock to the system. Now I want one. Cheers!!!
Haha! I think you are talking about the Chevrolet Lumina....my parents used to have one when I was growing up! Dust Buster Mini Van....very accurate description!
One of most interesting parts of cybertruck: it will serve as an SUV for many. Especially once ten degree rear steering released. Brilliant getting size down to meet those needs while still giving you all truck most need.
@@Abebe345 - Most people, including most who have trucks, do not need a truck. In fact, in the US, large cars have disappeared, replaced by a combination of SUVs and large trucks; in the majority of those cases, a car would serve the needs perfectly well, except the “need” to either have an aggressive stance or to kill the other party in an accident that likely wouldn’t happen if they had a better handling and braking vehicle.
The Tesla Model X Plaid with 1020hp does 0-60 in 2.5 seconds under perfect conditions, but the heavier Cyberbeast with "only" 834 hp on normal roads consistently does 2.6 seconds. I suspect the CT might be quicker than the Model X. It makes me wonder how Tesla managed that.
@10:59 those streaks from the wiper are not looking great. Would love an effectiveness test on that wiper blade on the main channel. I live in WA and having a consistently effective wiper is required for me.
I’m wondering the replacement/maintenance cost. Though I’m sure those who’d spend $120k on this truck wouldn’t be as concerned… I still look at that amount as “house money”. I want one, but MAN would I not want to make that payment. My payment for a ‘24 MYLR is expensive enough. 😂
I'm still puzzled since I heard it would have a structural battery pack. Does it? I would prefer a maintainable pack like the S and X, especially since the 4680 is no where close to the power density that Tesla was hoping for by this time.
3:01 - Driver: "Ohhh man! It really turned, a lot! almost put it in the ditch!" - Commentator: "It's pretty awesome" - Driver: "That is... different" 😂
The steering is going to cause accidents. Twitchy steeeing is not an improvement. It exists only to make Elon's stupid yoke viable. Backing up a trailer will suck without the ability to easily make tiny steering adjustments.
The Cybertruck is a massive failure being held afloat by UA-camrs passing them around like cheap hookers so they can do reviews on them. Seeing your Cybertruck sitting there WITHOUT the wheel covers is a reminder of how bad Tesla failed on this one. Then there's the low range and rust... I sold my Cybertruck allocation when I heard of the rust. Absolute deal breaker.
The Model 3 is an amazing car and very under-rated. It's the best Tesla for long, fast road trips with minimal charging. It slices through the air at high speed like nobody's business.
For them not to have included the same digital rear view mirror in my 2024 Cadillac Lyriq, KNOWING that you can't see out of the back with the tonneau cover closed is just the height of absurdity and arrogance. I can't bring myself to buy a Tesla. I'll short the stock, but I can't buy their products.
So …. did the F150 driver explain why he blocked three other superchargers? Sure, it looks like the other side can be used, but why be a turd about the positioning?
I saw one parked at my gym today….they are uglier and more ridiculous in person. The panels look like they are different colors due to different angles. Nobody even paid any attention to it.
You grab a round wheel anywhere and you never know where you are grabbing it. The squircle is constantly giving you that feedback that a round wheel hides from you.
Sorry the looks don't do it at all for me. I also wonder what the insurance premiums will be and repair costs as there has already been one in an accident and how many will get written off by insurance companies. The steering wheel isn't new I've seen it in Renault vehicles. We also need to end this obsession with 0-60 times being the only mark of a good EV and we also need affordable EV's something that has yet to happen well at least in the US in other parts of the world at least there are Chinese brands which are far more affordable than the mainstream automakers and that includes Tesla.
I hate haters 😅. 5 min in a seat and already complaining. Sounds like my wife 😅 more time on the treadmill and less time at the Buffet and I’m sure your a-z will fit 😂
The adjective for it DREADFUL. Cheap looking interior, and ridiculous exterior with impossible to take care of stainless steel. Once the novelty wears off they won’t be able to give these things away.
While you guys have your money invested into Tesla, a company that has not made investors money for 3 years, I have sold my tesla and am now making Piles of money on BITCOIN...I still believe TSLA is a good long term investment, but not right now..
Kyle is unbelievable lucky to have this cool of a dad that supports him thoroughly
Yes so cool!! 😎
109%
It's cute that you think the model x is yours and that you'll ever get it back.
It’s ridiculous
Congrats to Kyle for getting the cyberbeast 🍻
Yup he will create all the videos for all of us
Man I love you guys relationship, wow it makes me happy! Love the truck too😊
Beast Mode specifically designed for ego inadequacy. Love it.
It is just gorgeous. Believe it, it is pretty easy to come up with the same form factor again and again - but a really new one?! Try it for yourself.
Fort Colliners are waiting, waiting & waiting so eagerly & patiently for Kyle's Cyberbeast to arrive in the beautiful Colorado.
It's great to see Dave's reaction to driving it. You guy's have to do a V12 FSD review when you get it.
Kyle took your X for weeks, time for a payback! Take his Cybertruck. 😉
Congratulations on the new addition to the family!
CYBERBEAST 📐📐📐
still smiling, you got down to FL in a hurry to drive that beast, keep the content coming
Pedestrian safety aside, It's a fun car to look at, I enjoy the diversity in the automobile space.

Now have Kathy take it for a spin

@@altosack Certainly part of the appeal of Cybertruck is its protection of inhabitants. "All truck most want" to be technically correct.
Adjective to use for the cybertruck:
Bad Ass

So happy for you guys, this started as a joke and now look at the community that follows yours and Kyle videos!
Would be interesting to see your Model X Plaid go head to head against the Cyberbeast on a dig, 1/4 mile and on a roll from 50 mph.
Congratulations Kyle
Thank You Dave for All that you are doing for our Planet Earth.... Peace.. Shalom.. Salam.. Namaste 🙏🏻 😊 🌈 ✌ ☮ ❤

@@futuristic_car_channel I looked the 834 up, but you are right. Tesla website says 845 hp.
More torque and lower gearing for less top end.

kyle is absolutely right... if cybertruck had double the battery size without using the extension pack that take up the bed space, it would be perfect
I have just got the Silverado EV 4WT and range is amazing. My Cybertruck comes this week.... Hmmm
Awesome.. So he is 146 for the Cyber Beast?? That's for only this particular model? Enjoy the ride...
Yep, a truck whose steering almost puts you in the ditch. Sounds amazing.

Nice to see BTG on OoS.
Loved seeing Bearded Tesla Guy. It’s a shame he had to abandon is up here in Indiana.
Wish my xplaid had steer by wire as well as the bi-directional charging . I guess 2025 will be the magic year? Very nice truck.
Hey Dave you let him use your Model X so you can technically use Kyles Cyberbeast
I'm very particular about windshields and that wiper doesn't seem to be able to clean very well. I do love the mono wiper though.
Nevermind insuring the fleet, how the hell does Kyle afford his Starbucks addiction?
I'm upset, you guys were in Jax with a cybertruck, I would have come out to meet you guys. I've been watching the channel for a while now.

The steering doesn't seem to help in parking between the lines of a parking space, sadly.
Pontiac brought the Aztec back? Still ahead of it's time.
"I think it's way better than my Bolt." LOL. GM is till stuck in the 20th century.
Are you a Tesla stockholder
Just shows you don’t need to go to design school. A kids scribble will suffice

Can't wait for tech bros to move on from the Cybertrukkk.
All the pictures you see there are never any showing the headlights
So is this CT Daves or Kyles?? 😂
Are you'll in Twin Pines Mall !
