I agree 100% the fact that nintendo cares about the game speaks miles. they dont want it to be like arms or tennis aces, they want it to be botw quality. I belive it was miamoto that said "a delayed game is evntually good, a rushed game will always be bad".
i rather get probably the best metroid ever later than get something broken/unplayable today. it's okay nintendo, we're here for the long run.

when the S logo, "4", and prime music play, if you dont think its Metroid Prime 4 because "muh feelings have been hurt" then you deserve to be ridiculed. By your logic, this probably isnt really prime 4. for all we know its federation force 2 because we didnt see samus, her name, her ship, or anything else about her being in this game at all

Nintendo stole the show with just this title screen and the announcement of a core Pokemon game on the Switch. Everything else was just gravy. Xenoblade 2 is my most anticipated game of the year.

A lot of folks complained about a lack of gameplay or even a teaser trailer.
Honestly? For me?
Hearing that fucking beautifully-nostalgic music, followed by a title reveal was more than enough to fill my heart with hope and hype, as my childhood is now being revived.
Sony/Microsoft were winning me with ANTHEM, but when Nintendo came in and revealed Prime 4? E3 was already belonging to Nintendo.
