Iris' hair is the same colour as Minthe's hair, almost paying homage to the OG of this challenge. A full circle moment.
I came here specifically to find a Minthe comment or put one myself. And Kelsey did it instinctively! lol
Since River's biological father died tragically before she was born, and has always thought of Fletcher as her dad, it seems understandable that she considers Vincent as Iris' father regardless of biology, even more if they decide to adopt another child.

River's relationship reminds me of Minth's, her fashion reminds me of Poppy, and her desire for family and parenting reminds me of Skylar.
I think that no one remembers that gloomy Sims gain skills faster when they are sad.

Makes since tbh. If your naturally sad all the time I don't see why you wouldn't gain faster sad then happy. You'd be more distracted happy since you don't feel it often. More focused sad because its your normal.
They could have IVF treatments done ( science baby) to overcome the infertility issues they suffer. ( that way we do get to see what a cute baby they both make together )
I was about to comment that a science baby would be awesome as a third child since their second baby has to be adopted

I really hope they have a baby of their own, too, in the future. After the adoption. What if they adopted a child since babies are always chosen? I would think that would be a lovely idea.
There is actually a phenomenon where couples will struggle for a long time to conceive, then adopt a child and not long after fall pregnant.
Omg yes I absolutely love stories of people adopting a baby and shortly after having their own. It's like a double miracle.

in my experience playing the sims, fulfilling their "wants" helps a lot with burnout 💞
If you do adopt or have another baby you could make them a goth baby! the polar opposite of Iris and name her Ebony or something!
I wish Vincent took care of Iris more. I know River is trying to up her parenting skill but Vincent is her “dad”
Your second idea for the floor plan of the house is great! I love the idea of having the master bedroom downstairs.
Also, the mint hair is the perfect closure because it is like the challenge is starting over with Iris! haha
Maybe in CAS where it says can concieve, turn off Vincents and then try for a baby and River will get the sad failed to concieve moodlet, they then have a deep conversation and then decide to adopt. And then then have a whoopsie baby right after 😂('accidential')

I think that they could adopt first as they have a hard time conceiving. Then maybe try once or twice for a bio baby later on. While every infertility journey is different, often times it doesn’t mean never, just much, much less likely. Or maybe they go the science baby route at some point.
it would be cool if the daughter wore different outfits based on previous gen's colours, like one everyday is mint themed another is orange etc. an alternative to rainbow themed since there are limited options. plus would be very fun to do!
Maybe it would be a sweet idea if they adopt a son and name him Kaiden after her biological dad she never got to meet

Be careful if you go and edit sims relationships in CAS with MC Command Center installed!!! My legacy family completely broke recently from doing this. I changed my sims relationship with their adopted daughter to "parent", and my family tree was ruined. It decided that the wives were now sisters and their adopted daughter was their niece and daughter. I played the parents until their death, and there were no affairs or secret babies. So sad and gross :( :(
140 something episodes later and I am caught up! I have binged this series for weeks! I have loved the highs, lows, laughs and tears of this challenge! Love that Iris pays homage to Minthe! I’d love like a video montage of the generations
Ya working and school are bugged, you have to be on your home lot when they leave now. If you're out and about when they leave for it, the leaving won't stick when you get forced back to the home lot. Good job EA, don't forget to sweep it under the rug if there's any room left.
I think you should put the master bedroom over there on the side so they can have a vaulted ceiling. I feel like River is a vaulted ceilings girly and it should have an on suite as well
You could name the kids like past generation and by the colours so like the first few generations to pay homage to

Also! When the Try For Baby want popped up, I thought of a bit of chaos. They keep trying but assume it isn't working, so they adopt a baby or infant, ONLY TO FIND OUT RIVER IS PREGNANT! So kids 2 and 3 would be super close from crazy coincidence.
I got a mod to turn off the “dazed/burnout” feature cuz it was driving me insane

I think if you build on the house do the second floor and then you can turn the first floor into a wrap around porch for the house!
Building/decorating the house as the story progresses is such a fun idea though. It adds so much to the story! Kelsey's gameplay always warms my heart

Actually you can have a pool even in the winter, if what I saw is true. There are heatera/bubbler for the pool from the Get Together pack and you can even turn on the geothermal lot trait that comes with Eco living. I hope reddit is right about this xD

After three weeks of watching this challenge, I finally caught up to the recent video that has been posted. I watched it from the beginning from mint all the way down to blue and it took me three weeks to watch every single episode and I’m all caught up to date love this challenge. I hope at the end of this challenge it would be kind of cool blue generation one to every single house and collected all the photos of all the generations and put it in somewhere in her home so all 10 generations are all in one home of all the photos from mint all the way to blue be cool to seeing all the generations photos but I’m caught up with this and all the videos.
I'm so over the burnout thing too. Like no matter what they get it so fast. The first day of my sims work she got burnout.

They should have a science baby as well as adopting! It'd be nice for them to have a genetic child together but it would also be like they'd done IVF or something because of their issues conceiving.

I agree some of the things that they put in The Sims needs to be changed a little about the pets because my dog I have one she follows me around everywhere which I found out it's a little insecurities that they're afraid that you're going to take off on them which is okay I just reassure that I'm still here and I'm never going to leave her enjoying the last of the show of The not so Berry been watching it from the beginning one of your older fans just had a birthday turned 66 years old still love playing The Sims just installed the dating app pretty cool app

For the house,I think you should add on to the entryway and make that the master bedroom and then upstairs split the current master bedroom into a bathroom and a bedroom.
If you go into the Pride nail polish options, you can give Iris little rainbow nails. :)

the new gemology kit has really good jewelry that helps prevent burnout. i think it’s orange topaz that is good for creative burnout and sapphire that is good for the mental burnout that they keep experiencing
If you get the Relationships and Pregnancy Overhaul mod by Lumpinou, your sims can do artificial insemination and other ways to get pregnant with Vincent's fertility issues! So there could be 3 kids total and their last one could be biologically theirs. And you don't have to download all the different modules of the mod, you can just get the ones you'd need for that!

I have a sim who's had one baby from each of her husband's friends and the husband is their care dependant. When they grew up in the sim panel they see each other as father and son/daughter, but the family tree stays genetically accurate
Btw, long story about the husband's friend thing, I was playing with genetics using my self sim and a band members

I just let my Sims get fully burnt out because then I can buy a moodlet solver and it immediately gets rid of the issue. I don't think it works if you're only dazed though.
