Yes this!! Encouraging is so much easier. They can encourage them for doing homework, washing the dishes, cleaning up, etc. Also helping them with homework levels up parenting.

For the presents! I've noticed that if the christmas tree is in the corner/too close to the wall, the pile of presents don't show up under the tree. If you drag it away from the wall it should work. Alternatively, you can buy a pile of presents from build/buy and that counts too!

Yeah, toddlers interacting with Santa for a gift has been not working in The Sims for... a while. They'll do the interaction, but not get the gift, most of the time. I do think there is a mod that can help with that, (Better Father Winter by... Zafireria, I think), if you're interested.
Iris should be able to make a mess, then River can "discipline" her by calmly asking her not to or by hugging it out. :) Maybe she and Vincent can have a third baby once Iris is a child and Bo is a tod, that way it would be less chaotic.... Maybe. xD
Kelsey, the Force to Leave mod by LittleMsSam is amazing! It lets you kick sims off the lot!!! I've had this mod for years and never had a problem with it. It's actually the only mod I use now

I started the not so berry challenge not too long ago. Im this close 👌🏼 to giving up and i’m not even dine with the first gen. Having 5 children was tough. Thank the Sim lord that Rose gen will become a young adult in a Sim week.
Hack: i aged up an infant and they couldnt go to sleep well but if you add a lullaby to the cot and play lullabys it helps them go to sleep so much better
Just a tip! I know you want to make another room for the baby but the reason iris keeps waking up is because she’s a light sleeper and the baby being in her room wakes her up
Ypu dont have to just discipline your children. Ypu can also encourage their behavior. For example, ypu can teach then to say sorry, then encourage learning to say sorry and it will count towards the aspiration.

Discipline includes encouraging your child. So if they clean up, do homework, journal, have good grades etc then you’ll be able to encourage them 🤍

If you upgrade the bed, sleep goes up super quickly. Even a nap is much more energy increase. You do need handiness level 7 though I think.

It's a glitch that for whatever reason, Santa will not give gifts to toddlers. It's been a glitch for a long time.
