I don't know how to play this game yet, but I like to watch your videos because it gives me a sense of where I need to be and the level of understanding required to play and enjoy it properly.

Nice play! It took me 4 tries to get him. Ended up going Adam spamming all the 2-cost allies and Spectrum going Aggression. If you're semi-building for Voltron Yondu, don't forget Energy Spear out of Aggression!
Up to Thanos in this campaign and having so much trouble taking him down. Impressed how you always seem to grab victory from the jaws of defeat. Is Thanos considered one of the most difficult sceanrios? The infiinty Stones deck can be brutal at the wrong time. Anyway thanks Dale for your continued videos of MC.
I rushed him down with Thor and Hulk(both aggression). It took me like 8 games. Still haven’t beat him a second time! His constant discarding of my upgrades was a real pain so I decided to go Hulk since Hulk Smash doesn’t really rely on upgrades and Mjolnir can always be “recalled” by Thor in alter ego form so he can (hopefully) throw his hammer. Really tough boss fight.
For a player that has never been into the Guardians, know the Guardians or their villains, I have enjoyed the new content and this set … especially the new heroes. Still need a lot mor plays with the villains. :)
Did this tonight with my brother but found out we were unknowingly cheating by discarding spectrums forms when cards told us to discard an upgrade, so i think we will redo this fight next time we play with the proper rules. Great playthrough. I think we may steal your yandu set-up for adams deck. 👍
I like how the gauntlet is merely an attachment for any villain. It’s nice that the gang can pass it around like the Stanley Cup. I’m quite sure Clea would like to have a word with you. Discard pile indeed, sir. That soul stone was just dumped in a drawer with the other paperweights. Well fought nail-biter. Up next, the premier encounter of the box: Hela in Wonderland.
I always try to complete each expansion with the heroes+decks included first, 2-heroes game of course. But I am really struggling to defeat Thanos. It almost looks like it is impossible :-) Maybe it is time to unpack my Captain America and maybe Doctor Strange and get some help ;-)
@soptiktu Marvel is famous for changing team-ups! And many pre-con decks do need some adjustments to make them a bit better. Good luck on your next play against Thanos!!
I've noticed when you play kharmic blast you stop discarding once you hit the desired damage. The FAQ says the number discarded is intended to be decided before you discard.
@@DaletheCasualGamer it's on Hall of Heroes under "Rulings" but I can't find this ruling there... maybe I'm remembering conversations from the subreddit. It basically boils down to "each sentence is a discrete effect that happens all at once" so if you discard 1 card and then another you've caused two discards instead of one discard that contains two cards.
@Jirayu I really need to update my "favorites" list, so without adding Guardians, I'm still loving Captain America and Ant-Man. Who are your favorites?
I like to think that agent Colson just walks up to thanos at the end of this epic fight and punches him and then thanos dies.

Sanctuary has victory points, so you denied yourself exp, and also added an extra 3-boost card to the deck by discarding it after completing.

@GoGo Reacts I've only played through the campaign once, so need some other plays against the villains ... but I'm leaning towards Tower Defense. :)
With how long Thanos can take to bring down, I wouldnt be surprised if you actually took a break at 1:10:32 haha. He definitely feels like a marathon!

Playing the long game ... which typically isn't my style for solo games. :)
