That was great. Came for the Rocket stayed for the fight! Your gameplay is so smooth and you never get worried. I was panicking for you so many times but you handled it very well!!!!
@Brandt Sanderson Thanks for stopping by! I'd forgotten how nasty Klaw is and the amount of minions he has popping out. Fortunately, Rocket had some huge thwarting turns to keep the game going. :)
As I have said so many times in the past, Klaw is my most hated of villains in this game. However, I do love watching other people play against him. Am still waiting for my Drax but I love Rocket's mechanics.
That was tense there for a sec. Scheme mitigation is key with Klaw. The team of wife and I took him out on expert yesterday for the first time. She yelled at the card when she applied the coup de grace. I hate Masters of Evil with a passion
@Ragnot Greymane I actually like him with Justice and using his weapons to keep small things in check.. And yes, he is a little squishy, but his skeletal piece and an endurance can really help him out. :)
@Alex Biersner Sonic Rifle would be a good addition for him in Justice. The more I've played with him, his core guns can get the job done, but always good to have a spare. :)
Got the Dragon Shield card sleeves, they are awesome man, thank you. Any chance you might be convinced to continue your Lord of the Rings playthrough by taking on the next scenario, "Journey Along The Anduin"? Just got the core set and I would really enjoy watching how it is done!
@Rocketman176 Time is pretty much the only factor holding me back. I'll keep it on the "back burner", but generally go for the new "shiny" games first ... and after the first "easy" scenario for that game, I don't think the fellowship survives with me at the helm. ;)
@@DaletheCasualGamer I would personally try to "murder" as many minions as possible. Was thinking Stealth Strike is a good card for him and a bunch of allies to cover his low HP. e.g.: marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/8812/so-we-re-saving-the-galaxy-again-rocket-raccoon-justice-1.0 With Venom released we will get more Justice options for him, hope to get even more with further releases.
Great playthrough as always, but this confirmed my suspicion that drax isn't an aggression hero. He already has excellent damage output but he needs defense events to stay in hero form. Watching him constantly have to flip was painful. But nonetheless you did great
@@DaletheCasualGamer I didn't even have an issue with your build tbh. I just think aggression drax falls into a similar trap as protection groot. They're already great at what they do so leaning into their strengths instead of weaknesses yields diminishing returns. Defense events help him stay in hero form longer, so once he's set up his attacks are stronger and cheaper than anything aggresion offers.
@Janos Geronimo Thanks for watching! Drax only gets counters if the villain actually attacks him. So no counters from minions, or if he has an ally defend against a villain attack. Hope that helps, and happy gaming! :)
@Ablero Sure can! You can request "action" abilities or cards from other players on your turn. Really helps make the game feel more cooperative to help out that way. Just note, this only applies to cards/abilities with "Action: ..." Hope that helps!
@@DaletheCasualGamer late reply, but does this include cards from the other hero's hand? Like could player 1 ask player 2 to play a card from their hand before it's actually player 2's turn? Or can you only request actions from cards already in play?
how do you keep yourself under control.... by half way through this I would of been cursing and throwing cards all over the place. Do you have a pulse at all?
I feel like you really rushed towards the end, you readied Drax to attack for 5 twice when the main scheme was above 10 threat with side schemes, why not just ready Rocket and thwart?

@writerguy911 Rocket has options, which is nice. And I hope Drax is soon one of those options for you. :)

@JJE McManus Congrats to you and your wife, both for gaming together and the win! :)
That was close! What aspect do you think is the best fit for Rocket? I have used his pre con Aggression deck and he is unprotected and dies quickly
@Ragnot Greymane I actually like him with Justice and using his weapons to keep small things in check.. And yes, he is a little squishy, but his skeletal piece and an endurance can really help him out. :)
Nice game! Could have risked it with Drax towards the end, you had too stuborn to die :p Klaw can be a massive pain though!
Haha! Yep, I’m too cautious and try to keep that for when I don’t see death coming. ;)
Have you tried using the Sonic Rifle with Rocket? Or did that and Side Holster cluttered up the deck?
@Alex Biersner Sonic Rifle would be a good addition for him in Justice. The more I've played with him, his core guns can get the job done, but always good to have a spare. :)

That card draw on Rocket hero side should help :)
Rockets thwarting definitely helped!! :)
@@DaletheCasualGamer I agree. However, it harmstringed you that you didnt take advantage of that (both during deck bulding and gameplay)
@@sedlak87 I thought he did his job well. What are your suggestions for better thwarting deck building?

@Just A Dork Thanks for watching! I'm sure there are better builds, villains and team-ups to help him in the path of Aggression. Happy gaming! :)

Nice video!
Thanks for watching! :)
When Melter Attacks and you defended with Mantis, did you need to put a Vengeance counter on drax? Great game dale!
just reviewed Drax's card it says villain.

What a slug-fest. Fun to watch.
@Mike Gould. Klaw has lots of tricks, and minions. So he doesn’t make it easy. ;)
Thanks for watching!
I love playing against Klaw, but he is a PAIN IN THE DRAIN!!! 😠
Haha! He is a tough one for sure!! :)
Yo Dale. Did you get Venom? If so, how are you liking him so far? :)
I don't have a local shop, so get mine mailed in, so hope to get it early next week. Have you been enjoying Venom? :)
@@DaletheCasualGamer played him yesterday. Expert crossbones never stood a chance 😃👍
@@DaletheCasualGamer We made an unboxing video of him (though speaking danish) still reading up the cards in english. In case you want a sneak peek.
@@DadsGamingDK Thanks! I like to be surprised when I get my copy. :)
@@user-fr1ys2wn4t Sounds like a great gun fight! :)
Gah! You didn't use Too Stubborn to Die! I think you could have ended it two turns earlier if you didn't defend and just took the damage.
@WeatherBUTINSPACE What can I say ... I'm too stubborn. ;)
17:09 I don't think you should take a damage on Drax ;D He was in Alter-Ego form
@Daciak Correct! Sorry Drax. ;)
You were exhausted with drax from attacking and you flipped and healed.... is that allowed?? I thought healing exhausted the hero??
@Michael Kulhanek Drax has an ability that allows him to heal 2 for every counter on him when he changes from hero to alter-ego. Hope that helps! :)
we could play helicarries's action even is not my turn?

@@xaninthael1492 Yes, that works. As long as they are actions, they can help. Really brings out the super-hero cooperation. :)
Did you pay to bring in Ironheart in turn 1? I think I missed something.
I played "Salvage" which has 2 resources. Hope that helped, and thanks for watching! :)
22:10 You healed up to 10 with Rocket, but aren't his max hit points 9?
Good catch. Rocket was feeling a bit too good. ;)

lol There is a pulse, although ever so light due to the consumption of great amounts of pizza and pasta. ;)

@Richard Higgs There's a point in many games where I just go "It's time to end this", and go all attack and hope threat will be fine. :)
21:50 forgot to put a damage on spiderman
Good catch. That will happen at times. :)
