Rosewood VS Mahogany. Which tone do you prefer?

Sounds real nice , both guitars the Gibson in particular is very focused 😊. I'm considering a songwriter mahogany from L&M, can't find a sound comparison. This video gives me a fair idea of what it maybe like in a different tone wood for the back and sides. Thanks

D-18 has such an iconic sound. Songwriter doesn't get the love it deserves though.
